I read somewhere that the Leaf is first in the league ... it's the tribulations, armageddon .. time to stock up non perishable food items .. the fucking jihad is coming... we are all going to die!
@29 I was listening to the FAN590, and they were talking about the new rink in NJ, as I remember you did an FHF feature exploration of this venue and were most positive. 590 said it was the most dangerous place in North America and would never go back.
Steve indeed I did. must be a bunch of pussies. sure, it's dangerous (it's Newark FFS), but the arena itself was excellent. great beer, great food, great sightlines from anywhere, plenty of room. everything the Bell doesn't have
@HF4 - "new" MSG is still a fucking dump. new seats in the lower bowl might be a smidge wider to accommodate fat american cans but they fucked with the flow of the sections (upper / lower bowls completely separated - you used to be able to walk between them easily) ultimatley you can't put lipstick on a pig and try and sell it as something else.
I'd be perfectly happy to have the leef tear up the league all season long and finish first in the league, so long as the Habs just squeak into the playoffs in game 82 and go on to sweep the ugly fuckers right out onto their collective hairy asses and back into reality on their way to #25. OTOH a loss to the leaf in the playoffs would be fucking unbearable. I just threw up in my mouth a little at the thought of it.
tonight's game will see the Sens come back to reality. I say we see Neil take a run at PFK before the 4:00 mark. Such a douche. PK will score tonight. I also think Carey Price will score a goal this year if the Habs ever have a 2 goal lead at the end of a game. /random thought
Kmaxx at least you're not on the other side of the world. i remember when I lived in Hong Kong, watching and listening to prime time sports at 630 AM. too weird. i actually canceled a meeting at 830 AM Monday to watch Mike Weir win the Masters
actually GOOD TIMES FUCK YEAH. asian women everywhere, cheap hash, plenty of fun. just hearing wan chai makes me smile. i lived in sheung wan. easy to get home from any debauchery
So RDS are showing a high;light of Briere taking a penalty shot, stopping and then scoring - I had people talking so I missed the end - did the goal count?
Overall - I thought they looked a bit rusty but the determination and drive are still there. They appeared to have won a lot of faceoffs and dug a lot of shit out of corners and along the board...so all in all not a bad period (IMHO)
About this leaf shit, I just had a really bad thought. What if they were to actually win...you know...that thing the fuckface broons had handed to them last season?
I'm losing brain cells watching, well listening, to sportsnet. I seriously want to stab Denis Potvin in the cock! On Lars Eller (before his beauty assist): "I can't believe they compare this guy to Jordan Staal in Montreal. It's no wonder players have a difficult time playing there." He did rebut after the goal, identifying Lego's beauty play on defence which led to the ak46 goal. Then on the goaltender interference penalty: "You've got to be kidding me!" Then when play resumed and Price was run over again "Well, you might as well call that one too." Yeah, maybe they should have, asshole! Just reminds me why I hated the fucking Islanders so much in the 80's.
Anyway, great game so far (score-wise at least). Kinda dull otherwise.
Drinking Coors Light that somebody left behind from a party. Watching Sportsnet. What a fucking Friday. Habs can save it with a big ol W though.
@The Maritimer @8:30 I cringe, should that happen (and if phucken won't) we should meet up at Hurley's (or that other pub) and cry, cry, cry in our beers!!!!
A couple of things as the 3rd gets underway...@Ldude - you need to switch beer - coors light is a chick's drink. Secondly - @the M - you gotta get yourself some serious help - come one - the leaf actually wining - that's a nightmare and I have seen that thee are classes that will help you cure that.
Nice one!! Let's give the Mexicant 1st star for not being in the lineup...if he was, he would have been on the ice at the end and there would be overtime right nbow. Nice win for the Habs! When did they last win quatre de suite btw?
So methinks that there is a crossroad fast approaching. I don't even remember what injury has kept Gomez out of the linbeup...but it won't be long before he returns. With his salary he' going to play...but where? Does he kill penalties and take faceoffs? (Can't do any worse on that than the Habs did in the 3rd btw). Does he play 4th line? I hat ethis because the Habs are winning and why should Chocula have to phuck that up just because Glen Sather had a hemorrage? I'm worried but looking forward to NYCtomorrow night.
According to Potvin, it was the poor officiating that lost the game for the Sens. Pacioretty being crosschecked into Anderson was clearly a missed call. 8 minutes of PIM for the Habs and 4 for the Sens, but clearly the refs were on the Habs' side. Sportsnet 3 stars: 1. Cole 2. Anderson 3. Neil OK, then.
Kmaxx, it's ok, I've gotten rid of the excess CL from my fridge. Just a rule I have to drink whatever is in there no matte what. Time to restock now.
Leaf won again, somethings wrong with the world
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere that the Leaf is first in the league ... it's the tribulations, armageddon .. time to stock up non perishable food items .. the fucking jihad is coming... we are all going to die!
ReplyDeleteLeaf indeed have the most wins and most points of any team in the league. I may puke. PUKE - now there's a funny word
ReplyDeleteLeafs first and Oilers second in the league? WTF?
ReplyDelete@29 I was listening to the FAN590, and they were talking about the new rink in NJ, as I remember you did an FHF feature exploration of this venue and were most positive. 590 said it was the most dangerous place in North America and would never go back.
ReplyDeleteLittle TiTs 10 games 8 points plus 0.
ReplyDeleteSteve indeed I did. must be a bunch of pussies. sure, it's dangerous (it's Newark FFS), but the arena itself was excellent. great beer, great food, great sightlines from anywhere, plenty of room. everything the Bell doesn't have
ReplyDelete@29 Search Wiki for " Bunch of Pussies" and you get Toronto Sports Media. They have also awarded Celine the Norris for 2011-2012.

Can someone tell me what the new MSG is all about? Is the ice still not like sandpaper?
WV: Asking for Gomez to score is seqwishn that Santa Clause really existed.

ReplyDelete@29 - stop worrying about the leaf - it will go away soon enough...kinda like that rash you mentioned last week...

So RDS are showing a high;light of Briere taking a penalty shot, stopping and then scoring - I had people talking so I missed the end - did the goal count?
ReplyDeleteI may have to put iRiRi's loaded comment on the front page.
ReplyDeleteOverall - I thought they looked a bit rusty but the determination and drive are still there. They appeared to have won a lot of faceoffs and dug a lot of shit out of corners and along the board...so all in all not a bad period (IMHO)
ReplyDeleteAbout this leaf shit, I just had a really bad thought. What if they were to actually win...you know...that thing the fuckface broons had handed to them last season?

ReplyDeleteBIG TITS!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! Major fuck up by Karlsson.
ReplyDeleteLego is looking much better this year. Halak not so much. Wonder what McSplooge will have to say about that...
ReplyDeleteI hate to say it but if you look up "sophomore slump" in the dictionnary, I'm pretty sure you'll see this.
ReplyDeleteMcIdiot still has the nerve to poopoo Eller. Twat.
ReplyDeleteGorges and Price fist-bump!
ReplyDeleteI'm losing brain cells watching, well listening, to sportsnet. I seriously want to stab Denis Potvin in the cock! @L Dude
ReplyDeletePotvin's voice...It's like Gary Bettman doing colour commentary.
@L dude
ReplyDeleteHe's an asshole!

ReplyDeleteWell, this is just grrrrrrrreat.
ReplyDeleteHung on for the win. Nice try Sens.
ReplyDeleteEat shit leaf and leaf lovers.
Ouf. Four in a row! On to the concrete jungle....
ReplyDeletegood gosh josh!
ReplyDeleteSTRESS! Did not have to spend the entire 3rd defending like that. Holy. Crap.
ReplyDeleteSee Cole water Price? These guys are funny, even if the way they play will probably give me a brain aneurysm one day.
YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
ReplyDeleteNice one!! Let's give the Mexicant 1st star for not being in the lineup...if he was, he would have been on the ice at the end and there would be overtime right nbow. Nice win for the Habs! When did they last win quatre de suite btw?
ReplyDelete@Kmaxx, agree.
ReplyDeleteYeah for us!
GYFHG!
@Kmaxx, concur for the 1st star!
ReplyDeleteFrancois Gag-on said the Mexican't might not be able make the lineup if they keep winning. They could waive him to the AHL if the Molsons approve.
ReplyDeleteWe can only hope.
Trade him for a 7th round pick if you have to.
I never said the leaf would win the Cup, but Blowhard has a lot of drag with NHL HQ. It couldn't happen two years in a row though.
@Juce, it's a long haul for me to go to Hurley's. Thanks for the offer though!
.500 - on to the Big Apple.
So methinks that there is a crossroad fast approaching. I don't even remember what injury has kept Gomez out of the linbeup...but it won't be long before he returns. ReplyDelete@moeman, I am so jealous of moey's movember.
ReplyDelete@The Maritimer, of course, we will all first raise a glass to you in absentia and cry, cry, cry!
...of course, the leaf will NEVER!
ReplyDeleteg'nite y'all.
