    :) !

Well between the WJC and that game I must say I am feeling a little better about things in general this AM.

A good night for several of our boys...now if we can just get say four teams to have a total collapse between now and the end of the regular season and combine that with the Habs playing .600 hockey for the balance, we could conceivably back into the last playoff spot.

Glad RC FINALLY gets a W, that poor guy....

    Later....

Was at the game and it was fun! I'm usually lucky when I go at games and get a W.

Lets hope they keep it up...GYFHG!

Congrats to Coach Randy. If he can win about six in a row the assholes (sick fucks as moeman calls them) maybe will leave him alone.

I like Hal Gill's comment in the Ottawa Citizen: "Background noise".

Didn't watch the game but was checking in here periodically to see what was going on. Maybe a break will do me and them good.

    Cheers everybody!

As coaching staff were leaving from behind the bench and passing by the players after the game, Gorges turned around and shook RC's hand in congratulations.

@Steve, have you been watching National Treasure again? Or was that Masons who were the secret society?

I agree: Huberdeau for PK straight up. Then go get Weber or Suter from Gnashville and with Beaulieu on the way they are set at defence for a decade. With Huberdeau and Leblanc on a line together the french media won't give a fuck who is changing lines behind the bench. Plus all the ex-coaches and separatistes on l'AC will be sploogeless.

I agree with Steve. We were designed for doggy style.
And French speaking or not, i think coach Randy is a Cunning Linguist.

  31. I asked Santa for a 12 game winning streak and a first round victory over the Broons.

Thanks Santa (and to Ritchie Cunningham's older brother Randy.)

Thank you soperman for the Cunningham trivia. I'll keep that in my back pocket in case it ever comes up in conversation. And may Santa not screw you over like he did me. Thanks for the slippers fatso!

BTW, I'd heard this before and admittedly had to look it up just now, but did you know there's something called the Chuck Cunningham Syndrome (Chuck being Ritchie's actual older brother's name). It's used to describe characters that just disappear from a show as if they never existed. Gomez, anyone? Hey? Whaddya think?
Maybe in the hockey world it could even be named after Gomez.
Leaf fan: "Hey, where'd Komisarek go?"
2nd Leaf fan: "Word on the street is he's got a case of the Gomerreah."

Smart Steve. Very smart. Do not trust a man (if he is a 'man') who refers to himself as a, no scratch that, The Saint. BTW, did you receive a strange looking package for Christmas and are now smoking or have injected the contents of said package. Just curious. Certain people need to know.

Who the fuck gave Roger Moore a computer?

@Number31, I like PK as much as the next Hab fan but it would take one of our best assets to get Huberdeau out of Florida. In my opinion it would be worth it. But, I'm nobody and it'll never happen. And even as I type Mr. H. sets up another goal by Mark Stone. Amazing.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I know he has a lot of goals, but I'm not too sure I'd pick the guy who basically just scores off rebounds to go on the penalty shot. Pretty sure there was a better option out there (considering I think Huberdeau was on the ice and actually scores goals while skating).

    ReplyDelete
  58. the Maritimer9:03 PM

@Number31, I meant Huberdeau was amazing. I would have picked him for the penalty shot, he was money in the bank for the Sea Dogs in shoot outs. But, I'm biased.
