  1. I should probably learn to NOT open up this website when my GF is in the room...

Can't wait for the game tonight (tomorrow morning in Tokyo)!

  2. If the phucking refs play by the actual rules this time, we won't be robbed of a game we actually won.

    GYMFHG!
    GO COACH!

  4. Tweet from Habs website:
"Cammalleri and Kostitsyn both absent from practice. Gomez on the ice."
I hope this doesn't mean what I think it means.
    Emelin back wearing full cage.
    GO HABS GO!

  5. GYMFHG!
    Go Canucks.

  6. Van Halen at the Montreal Forum in the early 80's was the first concert I ever saw - it was during the Unchained era - I personally blame DLR for me being the mess I am...but that is another story for another blog on another day.

I don't want to hear shit about Gomnez skating anywhere but Hamilton!

Let's channel people!! We need to see if we can get the Habs to win 2 in a row...Channel People!!!

Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!!!

  7. GYFHG in this time of metaphysical rapture, we need to stay grounded, with our boys, if our boys could understand the hallowed ice they skate on, we would always be in the hunt.

Let the boo birds send Gomez out of town. He has earned that right.

    GYFHG!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Your kidding right, Gomez is not back?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Don't the idiots realize that the team needs to stay focused! Just FUCK THE HELL OFF with your stupid fucking protest, we don't need this SHIT and it makes us look bad to the rest of the world. Enough already.

  13. @Steve, That's all the tweet said, I don't know what that indicates. Why wouldn't Tits and Squid attend practice?

    ReplyDelete
  14. OK, apparently this morning was optional for the players and that's why they were absent. PHEW!
    Gomez was just skating.
    PHEW!

  16. As per what mr. gillis said... the same article is also on Grantland if you prefer not to frequent the leaf-biased g&m.

  19. I'm sure 29, who'll be at the game, will provide us with a curb-side report.
Remember to look for the half half jersey in the reds.
    GO HABS GO!

  20. Its gut check, the people are as good as it gets, and in goal better, so do not fucking lose.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Mr. natural3:27 PM

I liked that Ken Dryden story.

Tonight is the single most important game of this difficult season, we must prevail!

If we stumble I fear the flame of what little spirit and confidence the team has started to foster will get blown out and they will no longer believe and they REALLY need to believe!!

Now go and FIGHT, WILL IT to happen, refuse to be beaten, like Squid said CANfidence, feed off Lars, the re-rewed dressing room, the Ken Dryden story...now GYFHG! PHucken' KILL!

The phone booth will be rocking tonight!

    GMFG!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Odd. CBC isn't playing the Canucks/Bruins game. Instead, it's alpine skiing. I thought they'd be all over that game...

Anyone at the game tonight, if you see "protestors", boo the fuck out of them. Or start a chant for Cunney. That's if they actually show up. Cockroaches.

...Reminds me of that anti-immigration protest I saw on the news. It was like 4 guys who looked like they forgot their white pointy hoods at home. And then they got beat up by 4 other guys hahaha losers.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Also I would like to use this spot to express how much I hate the fucking Ottawa Senators. They bleed points all over the board by taking all their games to OT. Though the fact the Flyers can't outright destroy them is a bit annoying...

    ReplyDelete
  24. The horns will blow and blow and blow when we light the red again and again and again and it will keep blowing and lighting till we reign supreme!

    GO HABS GO!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Just read the Dryden article and listened to the clip with Mansbridge. Growing up I wasn't a goalie, I was a centre or a winger but my hero was always Ken Dryden. A small part of me died inside when I heard about him running the leaf but I was in the UK and decided that hockey was something I didn't want to follow for a few years. All these years later he remains my idol for a lot of different reasons. All is forgiven. To me he remains the most inspiring professional athlete I have ever come across.

Now Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Killer paroday moe! If I could play my guitar at .01% of EVH's talents I'd be happy

OK I have begun the pre-drinking before I go out to drink before the game. giddyup

    ReplyDelete
  27. Canucks have triumphed over evil. But don't expect suspensions to follow. I mean, it's the Bruins...

    ReplyDelete
  28. *parody, obvs. I said I was drinking

    ReplyDelete
  29. Once again the leaf-biased fucks at cbc/hnic show some Canuck hate.

I too grew up admiring Dryden, even more so after meeting him a couple of times. One of the few if not only intelligent ex-NHLer that can write extremely well. The fun things is reading all the Dryden bashers and their utter stupidity.

    ReplyDelete
  30. When I saw Kenny skating out in goalie pads for the 100th anniversary bash I was beside myself. I loved him and still do.

So let the Bruin's play lights out and finish first in the East. It means fuck all, as we well know.

    We're winning tonight.

  31. @Kmaxx, I am also a big Dryden fan.

  40. So if BR's séparatistes buddies don't wave their tiny bleu flags tonight, does Mike Boone still fawn all over elliott fried-man doing a piece on RÇ? Fried-man may be the least offensive of the hnicockroaches but get a towel Boone.

    ReplyDelete
  41. @29 - Atta Boy! Get 'em in for all of us! Have a great game!

    ReplyDelete
  42. @29 - will you try get us one of those "in game" interviews like they do on RDS/lBC? Doesn't have to be a player or coach - just the guy sitting next to you...as long as you ask him your question in French and then translate his answer for us. That would be cool! Have another beer and think about it...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Wait, 29, you're a Dryden fan?
Oh and I just made burgers for supper.

    ReplyDelete
  44. let love rule, oh if only the libs had picked Ken we would all be barbie

  48. Nucks beat the bruins, woot

    ReplyDelete
  49. @sTEVE, Yeah, what's up with that? Dryden was a good politician, could have been great. Guess Libs just didn't want to take a chance on a rookie.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Took collie almost a week to deal with batch. Took him minutes to support pretzelucic and give him the expected goon broon free ride. Sick fuck.

    ReplyDelete
  51. @Kmaxx, You`re most welcome, I`ll have a drink for you.

    ReplyDelete
  52. moeman, somehow I thought it might be him.

    ReplyDelete
  53. the Maritimer6:26 PM

Well, I have to profess my fanboy love for Ken Dryden as well. He is my all time favourite Habs goalie. I have a matted and framed picture of him from an old hockey magazine from the spectacular 1971 season. The Habs of the 70's were nearly unbeatable with him in nets. I nominate him to be the next Habs GM.

I just watch the early National on CBC and saw all the idiots outside the Bell Centre. Talk about cockroaches.

If were talking about supper, I barbecued some hot Italian sauceges with baked beans and greek salad.

    Thanks Canucks! Go Wings!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Went on the goons site to see what I could find on lucy. There was an article titled `the week ahead` that peaked my interest since the article featured a pic of Habs and broons. When I clicked, it said:
"To access this page, you must be a credentialed member of the Bruins media program."
    Sick fucks.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Paul Henderson, Yvan Cournoyer, Vladislav Tretiak to be presented to the Bel Centre crowd whiCH includes/features the fashionable 29.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'm ordering pizza, no cooking for me tonight. But I'm off to concoct a couple of Caesars right after I type this.

    ReplyDelete
  57. What's on the zza Moey?

    ReplyDelete
  58. Moey - with that special Horseradish you use I hope...Hmmmmm!!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Unfortunate name of the week - Columbus Blue Jackets goal scoreer from today - Grant Clitsome

    ReplyDelete
  60. Um, Fried-man;

    - the issue isn't 'in Montreal', the nut jobs are mostly Quebec City séparatiste media fuckups and rumproasted Morth of Lévis parasites.

    - RÇ is class, cbchnic not so much

    - get a hair cut

    - pjsuck doesn't speak for the Habs or Habs fans, he's a fucking broon hack

    - heely nails pjsuck suckitude, nice

    ReplyDelete
  61. Morth = North (was thinking of Moey)

    ReplyDelete
  62. the Maritime, Hot italians are the best.
    Kmaxx, That is priceless.

    ReplyDelete
  63. ...sausages of course.

    ReplyDelete
  64. the Maritimer7:02 PM

Thanks, Juce, I noticed the misspelling of sausages as well.

Great job by Randy Cunneyworth. He will be the Habs head coach next season (if there is one) and will have a smattering of francais as well. @moeman, thanks for clearing up who the nutjobs are outside the Bell. Montreal gets a bad rap for shit they aren't responsible for.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Can't believe I'm actually going to sit and watch this game with a bowl of chips and a coke...haven't done that since...a fuckin' long time ago!

Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  66. @ the M. I'll clarify even further (sadly) that some of the nutjobs are from Gatineau. Fucking losers.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Kmaxx, sipping on it now, horseradish included.

moe, just plain old all dressed (no green pepper) for me. Mr. M. has it plain with onion and adds his own anchovies. I only order from two places, Tevere or Romano.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Wow, how low can cbchnicockroaches sink? They send gord stellick to Montreal. SwitCHin to RDS in 3,2,1.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Moey, I like Tevere.

My fave combo is bacon, olive (green), onions.

    ReplyDelete
  70. @the M, I was just clarifying my reference to hot italians, did not notice your typo. :)

    GO HABS GO!

    ReplyDelete
  71. RDS showing the anthems...Qu'est ce qui ce passe?

    ReplyDelete
  72. "It's the most important game of the season right now." -PatCHes.

Well, then. Get to it, boys! Go Habs Go!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Yeah, maybe they're secretly protesting in their own way.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Remember, I want you all out of your seats!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Aaahhh...maintenant je comprends

    ReplyDelete
  76. moe,

I love bacon and onion too, but no olives.

    Okay, let's win this!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Love how Tretiak is loved in Montreal.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Lookin good Henderson.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Cournoyer giving RÇ the thumbs up. Mange ça BR!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Bon match everyone!

Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  81. the Maritimer7:22 PM

@moeman, we have the odd nutjob down here in NB, fortunately they are few and far, far between. The most prominent is one Jean-Marie Nadeau, head of the Acadien Society. Everytime he gets a traffic ticket he plays the french card, if the officer doesn't speak it first he plays stupid and takes the ticket then gets it thrown out of court. Fucking asshole.

The fans still love Tretiak in Montreal. He loves them back.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Henderson does look good, he's battling a rare form of leukemia. Godspeed.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I'm not worried. Very similar to Wednesday's game and look at how well that turned out.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Attack! Attack! Attack! They're looking too keystone copish right now.

    ReplyDelete
  85. They need a PP. Something. Anything to get them going.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Any 29 sightings?

    ReplyDelete
  87. Haven't seen any oven mitts yet.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Hope he's lining up that interview...

    ReplyDelete
  89. Well that was a shit 1st period! Hope 29 has a good interview lined up!

    ReplyDelete
  90. Pretty meh period. But I'm drunk so it's cool. Nice ovation for tretiak

    ReplyDelete
  91. They were starting to heat up. C'mon boys!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  92. I'm buried in a corner in the second to last row of the reds. Tough to be on tv

    ReplyDelete
  93. 29, take your shirt off. Blind them by the white!

    ReplyDelete
  94. If the Habs win it'll be an all CHarlize post!

    ReplyDelete
  95. Patches...apparently - I went out for more cola! This sober hockey is bullshit!

    ReplyDelete
  96. Gotta love really fast on the play refs. Even faster toronto decision. Not saying it wasn't a goal, just saying refs are fucking inconsistent.

    ReplyDelete
  97. OK - so this starting to pick up. The Bolts are there for the picking...Now pick!

    ReplyDelete
  98. @Moeman - Does Blunden have a nickname yet?

    ReplyDelete
  99. How 'bout we call him Blutto then? Everyone cool with that? Great. Done! Blutto it is!

    ReplyDelete
  100. Wings making a comeback! Go Wings!

    ReplyDelete
  101. Red White & Blutto!

    ReplyDelete
  102. Habs need another goal soon or they will blow this...!

    ReplyDelete
  103. This is the weirdest game...lots of shit scoring chances but nothing particularly good looking from either team. Habs need another one or else!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Nice try Blutto!!

    ReplyDelete
  105. Holy shit - I'm OD'ing on Cola - it almost makes me feel like I'm blog commenting all by myself...oh wait a sec...

    ReplyDelete
  106. That's an expression I haven't heard much..."La zone payante"...nice!

    ReplyDelete
  107. Come on boys...let's get another goal now!

    ReplyDelete
  108. 29 gets us the win!!

    DDD / Cole!

    Who cares who!

    win is a win!!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Nice one Patches!

Moeman - it's been quiet - but thanks!

No AC for me tonight. Way too sober!

    Later!

    ReplyDelete
  110. Moey spoke and the Habs listened. Smart boys, they know what's good for them.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Miss me? wipes tear from eye.
As Tretiak walked on the ice, I had a visitor, paused the game and when I went to catch up, my son called who just go back from South Carolina (or North, I can never remember) from some military training. Anyway, we won, yah!!!!!!
Just the start of many more.
    GO HABS GO!

    ReplyDelete
  112. the Maritimer10:12 PM

Just realized how much I enjoy NOT seeing Chokula behind the bench anymore. Coach Randy is a much more striking figure and looks like he actually has a pulse.

And even though I think the Habs dug themselves too deep a hole to get out of it still feels good when they win.

    ReplyDelete
  113. You may be right, but I won't believe it's over till it's really over.

    ReplyDelete
  114. the Maritimer11:16 PM

    Fair enough, Yogi.

I'm just too practical. Can't help it, it's the engineering discipline kicking in.
