  1. The coach was questioned on why he gave Scott Gomez more than four minutes on the power play and he replied “because he’s a power-play guy.” The only evidence of that is that he has scored one of his two goals this season on the power play.

  2. There are some things in life that are a real mystery and this whole Gomez situation is one of them. If Unsolved Mysteries was still on we could suggest this for a segment. The guy has been a hindrance here from the beginning yet he gets all this time no matter what he does. Other players make simple mistakes and get benched. He gets more time.

Maybe Cunneyworth is on medication and isn't thinking right. Could also be Ghastly Gauthier forcing this issue. Cunneyworth should just sock him out and bench the hell out of Gomez.

  3. Practice cancelled again. Apparently, they haven't had a practice since Saturday.

Wouldn't wanna overwork them before the big playoff push...

    1. RC is punishing Gomez, no chance for him to score in practice, it has to be the only thing keeping the Mexicant sane.

  5. I believe that Cunneyworth probably doesn't have a choice in the Gomez affair, something else has got to be behind this.
RC was made a scapegoat from the onset and he's the one who has to face the media about the matter and has to come up with the best possible answer he can muster.
Oh, and there is a new version of Unsolved Mysteries on the air somewhere, came across it a couple weeks ago but couldn't find it again. Robert Stack did it well.

Geoff Molson said a while back: "We believe in Scott Gomez." That tells me who is running things. Gomer will probably get an extension at the end of the regular season for all his contributions.

@moe, did you take all those pictures of bare bums on the beach when you were in Barbados? Man I gots to get me there!

RIP Davy Jones - gone waaaay too soon!

    6. Heard a good story on Melnick today. Back in the sixties there was another young up and coming singer named David Jones. He was told he had to change it because Davy Jones was so popular. So he did, he picked Bowie.

I dunno, Columbus has been burned by the Ruskies before. I say they take a high end defenceman. Once Edmonton blows by the Habs, Nail falls into their laps at #2. Don't get excited though as Yakupov is allowed to finish his junior career in Sarnia while he works on his french. It's all good as Montreal finishes 30th next year and they grab Nathan McKinnon and sign Crosby as a UFA! In 2014-15 the Habs are loaded and ready to bring Stanley back where he belongs! What a fucking plan Goat, I'm glad you thought of it!
