Look we've know for a while that is was a dream to think we were playoff bound, waddaya gonna do? Every season can't great, so fire the goat, he is obviously not qualified.

Geof needs to convince a competent GM to come here and more importantly, give him the tools and support to get the job done.

Anyway PHuck Da Broonz, may they go out in the first round and may we play spoiler to the Laffs, these are the only things I have left from "The Lost Season of 2011-12".

So much promise... building.... building only to snatch complete disaster from the jaws of excitement and hope, CHrist when we eliminated the Caps it was so unexpected, such a high, I hadn't felt that with a Habs club since Saku took one in the eye and our hopes were dashed by the Whalercanes, then satisfied that my team had topple the giant I was resigned to losing to the defending cup CHampions but PHUCK we beat them PHlightless birds as well, sure the PHucktards got to us but it was exhilarating!

Then last season taking the first two in Beantown, then losing a couple that with a single lucky bounce we could have, should have won only to lose game 7 in overtime, the third game of four Broonz wins that went to over time but REMEMBER how proud we were? How we said they could hold their heads up high, the respect they had earned from friend and foe alike?

How did it go so wrong so fast?

    1. Bad planning, not taking into account that Markov may not be ready, Our crappy. D cost us a lot of games coupled with nobody with a cannon on the PP. Speaking of PP losing Muller, because it's sucked since.

    2. Moey knows, all that and not much goal scoring.

  4. The Goat doesn't pick the guy. Timmins does. Whether it's Grigs, Galchenyuk, Faksa, Forsberg, Trouba...it's a pretty good draft year. I'm more surprised not many people are saying the Habs should fail for next year too so they can get that kid Nathan MacKinnon =p

The Goat, however, might trade the guy and that's where the problems are...

    1. Good point about Timmins N31. Will The Goat be at the Draft table? Only Geoff Molson knows.

@moey, yeah always said the worst thing that happened to us in the off-season was losing Kirk.....

My worry is I do not see the keystone Kops running the asylum being the brain thrust that will right the ship, right now I would worry that TFS & PK will get fed up and we will lose them, they are both restricted free agents next year and with their talent and age someone could very well get them outta here....Am I being paranoid?

Gotta run, hospital visit, dinner and a play, CHEERS!

  6. Okay, one last thing and I don't want 31 to go ape shit. Price is very good but he's not great, yet. Not a goalie that can steal games when they did have the lead. However, I believe that he can eventually become that with a better team in front of him.

When Price gets a better defence in front of him and some forwards who can score he will be fine. Too early to judge him yet. Hell, Joey MacDonald looks like a superstar with the Red Wings in front of him.

    2. Not judging him M, he's not yet the guy who can carry them.

Agree, but Chocula and now RC are leanin' on him pretty hard. No point really, he should only play 2 out of 3 from here on out.

If there is one mystery we will never solve from this season it is why Gomez is being used so often. I'm starting to wonder if somebody other than RC is calling the shots on his ice time. It's obvious to anybody who has followed hockey that he is now a veteran who no longer possesses the skills or the will to be an effective NHL player. He contributes nothing to offence and cannot or will not play defence. Didn't someone say he was on for the first 3 goals last night? Therefore, why is he in the lineup? Has Molson, who stated: "We believe in Scott Gomez, he's a winner", ordered him to be played to get something out of his $7.5 million? Was it to deliberately fuck the season and get a high pick? Can't see it. Has, God forbid, Geoff Molson emulated Charles Wang on Long Island and become the defacto GM of the team? God help them and us if that's true.

  9. I heard rumors that they were showcasing Gomez, which is a riot. You'd have to be pretty damn Milbury to pick him up. Phoenix has a scout that's been following us for a month now. Would they be trying to pick up Gomez? Can they pick up Kaberle too?

Tony M has a big scoop he's announcing tonight on CTV at 645. God let's hope it's good news.

Price doesn't get angry enough. He looks too casual out there sometimes and I don't want to hang all these losses on him because it's unfair to do so but I really wish he'd get a little more pissed off from time to time.

Nice butt on that fridge girl. Wow.

    2. Ah no problem. I didn't even know what the scoop was when I posted.

I'm kind of disappointed in it. I wanted some really great news.

  14. Breaking news.

Per Marinaro appearing on CTV's sports extra, Molson has now taken charge and the Goat no longer at the helm and is just a figurehead. Molson is being kept abreast of every aspect and is calling the shots. Over the past month, Molson has met with his captain and assistant captain and wants to know whats going on, what's happening in the locker room and what feelings the players have. Molson also had a meeting with Serge Savard late December.

Whilst here, fidèle 4Hfers know that I love women. I love their bums and boobs but mostly their brains. In here, I have the luxury of the fantastic N31s, the dedicated juces, the loyal iRiRis, the masterful Moeys and the Crying Gamish gillises. Forgive me or remind me of the ones I forget.

cassie, don't be a sick fuck.

  19. Chara wanted to retaliate when Neal checked Boychuck, but Neal was already down on the ice and Chara just looked like an idiot.

Neal and Chara face each other during faceoff, have words then go at it and Neal got Chara down, had his fist raised and stopped. Kudos

Neal will have a target on his back their next game.
