  2. Habs only team to apparently score shorthanded on the Booins. Also missing Bruins and Timmeh Thomas killer, Yannick Weber.

Hey it's one point no one thought they'd get so...yay.

BONUS: WE DON'T HAVE TO SEE THESE FUCKERS FOR ANOTHER YEAR.

    1. Don't thank me, thank my job for thinking I'm too useless to come in to help develop next year's curriculum and telling me to stay home for the next two weeks.

    2. We were all drawn by that thread, like moths to a flame, or in Moey's case, a cat to catnip.
      @Moey, sorry I don't have a cat, hope that's correct.

  5. Video description on TSN: "The TH panel tries to explain the cause of Scott Gomez and Andrei Kostitsyn's recent struggles."

Gomez's recent struggles? Actually he scored last week for the first time in over a year. So if anything, he's on a hot streak.

  7. Well the panel on AC weighed in on the goalie interference penalties. One said refs were trying to steal the show, another said look where thomas was, another that (cole) was pushed by broon into thomas, another where do you want a player to go?
All on board except when PJ Stock said well refs were mis-calling both sided.
    FUCK YOU PJ!

  8. Well, least the pics are nice. It was also nice to get the one and only shorthanded goal on the Bruins this year (so far). Nice to get a point.

Bah, fuck it. Christ I hate losing to these guys.

Does the little rat get suspended again?

    Thornton is a jackass.

    1. Don't wanna mess with White, a real gutsy scrapper who won't back down. He said before the game, he likes to play against the broons, it's his kind of game.

  12. Couple oif things from me today...firstly Moeman - I am happy you've moved your perspective to the front for the time being - some very nice shots and I can't wait for SF! Carry on!!

Marchand must be suspended for the hit on Y. People (non Habs fans) will say we (Habs Fans) are crying but fuck that - he could have wrecked his career with that hit. I fear the fact that Y wasn't seriously injured (played the rst of the game) will go against the severity of the penalty imposed.

I normally stick around for l'AC but with bjcock on last night I gave it a miss. So how is a skater, carrying the puck and trying to fight off a D man, then hitting the goalie right in front of the net EVER goalie interference? And when is being pushed into (or having your momentum carry you into) the goalie WHO IS 5 FEET OUTSIDE OF HIS CREASE EVER goalie interference?

Lastly (for now at least) - where does RC come up with shoot out choices? Since taking over he has made some bizarre choices but last night WHERE THE FUCK WAS ERIC COLE on his list? And it's been said before but can the Habs please stop pretending they can deke on a shoot out - they clearly can not - so shoot the puck - no one will be expecting it!

    That is all...

    1. Guess he just went with the "best" at shootouts list. But "best" on this team in shootouts is crap so whatever. I'd have put Colé, Patches, and Pleky (because he tends to score on Timmeh).

Sad that the only guy on this team who could stutter step in the shootout and score was fucking Max Lapierre...

      ...and Pierre Dagenais.
IMHO, René Bourque has been invisible the past 4 games or so. Lars Eller had his ass nailed to the bench much of the 2nd/3rd periods. Last night for sure I agree Colé, Patches, Pleks, maybe DD.

    3. I'd be surprised if marchand gets suspended. He'll say he was afraid cause he's so small and just wanted to protect himself. Shitahan will look at (Y)'s style of play (checks alot) and say there was no intent. But we know otherwise. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Marchand is evil and one day he will seriously harm someone.

They (the Canadiens) have only won 11 games on home ice, worst in the whole damn Eastern conference. What is up with that? Cold feet in front of the home town crowd? No wonder they are where they're at in the standings. If they can't fix that problem they are fucked for the foreseeable future.

  15. Okay, trying to be glass half full. We've taken 7 out of a possible 10 points in the last 5 games. Not too bad.

@juce, yup catnip is right although only 1 out of my 3 actually digs the stuff.

Was just chatting with the Bruin's fan next door, they DO NOT want to face Mtl in the first round. Heh.

.700 hockey gets the Habs 89 or 90 points.
.500 hockey gets the Sens 90 points.
.500 hockey gets the leaf 88 points. So 1 game over gets them 90.
.500 hockey gets the Caps 87 points.
the hill, tis steep my friends. very steep.
      But I'll not give up.

    1. Not even a fine?

Another comment from the rat on fans cheering when Chara hit with puck.

“We’re out there trying to do a job," he said. "It’s entertainment for them, but at the same time you have to be concerned that it’s people’s lives at stake. Concussions and stuff like that are a very serious thing, and you don’t have to disrespect guys when they’re trying to make a living for their family and they’re hurt like that.”

What an asshole, when YOU yourself don't have any respect or integrity shut your face.

    2. What a damn hypocrite. How he can say that with a straight face? He should be an actor.

It would be interesting to see him if he didn't have his buddies around to protect him.

Looking at where the Habs will select (around 6 or 7) I'm looking at Brendan Gaunce, C, 6-2, 215lbs. They don't need another high end defenceman at this time. Unless they can trade up, Grigorenko won't be available.

I know, sounds like I've given up, but my engineering background tells me the numbers don't work and my eyes tell me all I need to know about this bunch. I knew back in October when they only won one game in their first eight they were in trouble.

So, we can blame the Goat, Chokula, Nomez, Vodkov or any combination of, but it doesn't matter anymore. I want to know what Mr. Molson is going to do going forward. Throw us poor fans a bone!

  26. No suspension, huh? To me, no suspension means that what Marchand did was A-okay and he's free to do it again without consequence.

"We don't like it"? It's either legal or not. FFS, make up your mind!

    3. Considering he could have just stayed up and hit Emelin normally, there's a clear intent to take out his knees by going low like that. By saying they don't like it, tells me Papa Jacobs and Daddy Campbell already got to Shanaban.

Broonz; what a classless organization, I sincerely hope someone beats the living shit our of the Ratfaced Toucan, I mean as bad a beating as has ever been inflicted in a hockey fight.

Did Dr.Recchi weigh in on the Shaved Ape puck to the face?

I hear a rumor that the puck is seeking legal advice and is looking to sue for pain and mental cruelty
