Now...lock Kaberle in the trunk of a car. Somwhere. Maybe leave it in Florida.

  2. Man, it's nights like these I wish I was at home watching the game, instead of listening on my iPad at work. The wifi here is so shit, I can't browse AND listen.

Nice win for the boys, and I just have one thing to say to Malkin....

    "EAT IT, GENO!!!"

I'm so happy for Price to get a shootout win....it's been a long time coming.

    GYFHG!

  6. That blonde in the last pic....wow. What a lovely site this is.

Great win by the team. The Leblanc goal was just beautiful.

If they do trade Jeff Carter I hope it's not for Carter. Not that I want him to go but if he does, make it for draft picks and not some other big pain in the ass contract.

  7. Well it looks like I missed a fun(ky) game last night. Sorry 4HFers but these late nights can be a real bitch on next day productivity. Now I gotta search me out some funky highlights package to see what I missed.

    I was there in spirit...

  8. OK - I avoided TSN's highlights and watched on NHL.com - Loved LLB's goal and only saw a couple of the shootout goals - Moeman - any chance of the big gameday highlights after a win package - it is usually pretty complete.

I'm not impressed with another 3 shot 3rd period however so I'm not going to get too overly excited. But I am happy that they won.

Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!!!

I do hope that based on last night funked up win the Habs will bring back the long hockey pants but with a really wide flared bellbottom and skates as per moeman's shoes above.

GREAT to get any win, better a shootout for TFS, better still Louis gets that nice goal and looked good all night but agree with KmaXXX a 3 shot third, like the single shot Sunday, is not the way to hang on for a win, but Laffs lose and GYFHG anyway.

OK now I'm worried....just checked the standings and everyone is fading and increasing the Laffs chances and hanging onto a playoff spot:

NYI too far back to seriously consider
Jets 5 points out maybe they can help, we REALLY gotta cheer the Jets.
FLA fading faster than intelligent comments from BJ Cock

  11. NHL.com seriously ignoring the fact the Habs beat the Pens last night. Instead they post Malkin's goal. Which is funny to me because isn't it strange how guys like Eller or Grabovski are capable of doing the spin-o-rama in full motion while the superstars have to actually stop? Whatevs.

Buddy of mine had the model with push buttons on the dash to change gears...what a weird vehicle.

Didn't know they were still around. @juce, her eyes are not really like that she's wearing some type of lens.

My youngest (he's 26) introduced them to me about 4 years ago, think he went to a concert of theirs here in Montreal. interesting but not for all...

    3. Mr.natural, I knew they weren't real, but still found them freaky, like someone you'd see in a horror movie.

@mr. gillis, I prefer phrasing it as "now in his second year without a goal".

I, do hear by solemnly swear to dedicate all my energy to wishing ill on the Laffs and power to the Jets!

This month the Jets, Caps, Fla and Habs play the Laffs, I will not be able to live if the Laffs make the playoffs this season, let's all focus. I am counting on every single one of you.

    1. Right on, the COTU meme of the day, leafs dont need to get any better, they are like the 71 Canadians.

    2. Mr. N - I am channelling with you. Let's make a concerted effort to have something positive come out of the"lost season" - which is what I am now thinking about referring to the 2011/12 season as.

      Channel People CHANNEL!!

    3. KmaXXX, Don't quite on our boys.

    4. juce - I'm not quitting on them just yet - I'm on the record as a die hard and it's still only February so no playoffs is not a scenario I can accept. Two wins in a row is something to build on. But I am also trying to multi-task (I know, I know, guys don't do this very well apparently - however...) The only thing I could envision that would be worse than the Habs not making the playoffs is them not making the playoffs and the leaf making the playoffs. This is worse because, as I have also previously stated, if you make the playoffs, you could actually win the Stanley Cup - and that is something (the leaf actually winning I mean) that is too fucked up to even imagine. Envision how bad it feels to have the broons as Stanley Cup Champions and then multiple it by 100 and you start getting close to how how unbearable it would be for us if this happened...That is why I was encouraging everyone to channel. For the record - I will never quit on the Habs - ever!
