  3. Let it never be said that our Moeman is not an equal opportunity blogger of the highest order! Nice one all 'round

At times this season I have asked you to "channel" your positive energy because I thought a win would make a difference. Tonight people I want you to channel that energy, channel all the feelings of ill will you have towards the Goat and channel the feelings of disappointment you feel at a lost season. Channel that back into whatever team RC decides to ice and will them on to a decent effort tonight. All the "tankers for the sake of a draft pick" out there - I hear ya, but I can't join ya. I'm being as realistic as I can here - The Sens have it all to play for (it is the sens right? Or is it the Sabres again? I'm not sure and frankly it doesn't matter)so I expect that they will come out flying. They will be playing for the 2 points - The Habs MUST play for their pride. Some of them need to play for their spot next season. They all must play for the pride of wearing the bleu, blanc et rouge. If the win, great. If they lose (apparently) even better. But if they play like they played their last game, then it might be the last game I watch this season - and you'll only have juce to cheer for them over the next couple of weeks. Don't get me wrong - she is top drawer cheerleading stuff but think about it for a second...what if...

...what of I stop cheering the team on each game - will juce lose interest in being the lone voice...what if that makes her stop cheering - does Moeman comment on his own for the rest of the season?...what if he gets fed up and figures that it's only him commenting - what's the point...what if he then stops commenting...what if he then looks at his analytics numbers and sees that no one much is visting the blog...what if he decides to pack the whole thing in...what if...

So for the sake of this blog people, channel some energy into our Habs and will them on to play a decent game of hockey tonight. Win lose or shootout, as long as the effort is there, I won't ask for more...and I'll cheer my ass off too!!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The thing is...Sedin should have gotten something for the elbow he threw on Keith...I think the one thing the NHL can learn from this year is that with both the refs and Shanaban, there must be consistency in sentence. A big fuckin' elbow to the head in the middle of the rink is the same as a big fuckin' elbow to the head in the corner on the fly. Also, what colour shirt you are wearing should never impact on what happens after you commit a heinous foul against an opponent. Oh, and timfuckinpeel should be relegated to the AHL immediately - for everyone's sake!

I called him a loafer and other expletives based in a couple of exhibition games and the first two regular season games he played in. To be fair - he was awful.
