    1. Bet he goes high, Tampa, Toronto need him bad. The goaltending in the first round has been phenomenal. TFS will have to step up his game for next years run.

    2. I hope the leaf don't get their dirty hands on him.
      ugh

    3. I don't think he's going to the Leafs at 5th overall, that would shock me.

I think the Bolts are the first team he might go to , but even there is a little high.

Lets remember too though... He's not gonna solve someone's goaltending problems for at least 3 years at the earliest.

Best case scenario... 1 year of OHL, 1 year of AHL, and a year of being a backup in the NHL, before hes ready to start. And thats best case scenario and massively rushing him IMO.

    4. and the same is likely true of any pick this year.

    5. True, but generally goalies take longer.

I would expect that some of those top 5-10 picks will be in the NHL right away though, especially Yakupov and Murray.

  2. You cant tell me the League does not play favorites with the refs. The goaltender interference call on Folingo was questionable at best, especially considering NY had 4 PP in a row before that, then think about it going to be be a 5 on 3. Latter Staal lifts it clearly over the boards, and no call, bull fucking shit.

  3. All the owners of Canadian teams should petition Tim Peel be banned for life, and some kind of review system.

Wow, Phoenix vs Nashville, there has to be Buttman splooge all over his office in New York today. You couldn't pay me to watch a crap match-up like that. Just like Florida - New Jersey, boring as fuck. Now, a Philly - Ranger series would be worth my while.

Canucks calling a press conference today, is AV on his way out? Six years is a long shelf life today unless your name is Ruff or Trotz.

    1. The battle of the bad sweaters.

As far as Al goes, from what I read he is younger Choucula, and he fucked over Cody Hogdson, so his work with development has to be called into question.

Bottom line, NBC is showing NHL games, and Americans dont know if Ottawa is a country or a city.

    2. They're just confused because Harper lives there....now that they know who he is thanks to Jeopardy.

"Daniel Alfredsson of the Ottawa Senators, Joffrey Lupul of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Max Pacioretty of the Montreal Canadiens are the finalists for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy."

    The reason PatCHes will lose out to loopy is in bold;

The winner is picked by a vote of the Professional Hockey Writers’ Association and will be announced at the NHL awards show on June 20 in Las Vegas.

    1. How many of those writers are from Toronto?

    2. Moeman - in my opinion, Patches doesn't win the Masterton because to do so would be to recognise the fact that what happened to him was a fuck of a lot more than "a hockey play" and none of the writers (especially the 'merican ones" want to re-open that debate. Pardon my ignorance but what's Lupul's story then? Does he get the award just for having to actually be a half decent player stuck in leaf land?

  6. If you like it, its mine, if you dont I cut it from HIO.

I was told that there was an award ceremony in Boston to honour Don Cherry – I thought about that for a brief moment and I replied: “For what? Too many men on the ice?”

    1. I was told Celine and Luke Scheen were going to play in Europe - I thought they will not look any quicker on the International ice surface.
