  2. Love the Stones clip. Always cool to see what goes on behind the scenes. Great job Moeman! Go...I want to say Yotes - but truth be told, I'm not really bothered - whoever!

Kinda thinking it would be cool to see Brodeur win the Cup then pack it in. Robinson would win another ring - except that Devils hockey is pretty fuckin' dull -except for that third goal last night - that was a beauty.

Everyone has the day off over here in the UK today - bank holiday - like they need one! Back to work on Tuesday. God Save the Queen! Keep Calm and Carry On!

    1. He did do wonders for the Devils, but I remember reading at the time that he had no interest in returning to coach and did it only as a personal favor to someone.

    2. I am NOT in. CH needs to move on, create new memories.

    3. Who was the last really good coach in Montreal?

    4. Well, I'm not able to comment on the early 80's and 70's...I am too young and don't remember those days really.

But for me, Jacques Demers, not only is he the guy who last brought the cup in Montreal (or in Canada, for that matter) but he was a respected individual by his players and across the league. He had to have a decent coaching ability because the Habs in those days weren't powerhouses, they were team players, and Patrick Roy...

And, Steve, the keyword in your phrase is 'WAS'. Lets leave it at that and let Lemaire keep his glory (glory that he clearly earned). I don't want to see him come back and fade away...

  6. Let's see if douchebag Shanajoke has some pants and balls into those pants.

Claude Giroux should be suspended, 3 games (minimum) for his hit on Zubrus...East-West hit, late hit, straight to the jaw...

    2. I might go, like you say, once, just to check it out.
No hurry, just something I might do on the fly.

  8. Dale Hunter should get coach of the year, and should burn in hell for doing it. So we now play defence, defence, defence. Robo bot shot blockers oh my god will I ever watch hockey again.

  9. Clausewitz, applied to hockey. What team will be the first to bring in drones. Seriously, if five players block the net all the time, its hard to score, and is this hockey, no, it will kill the game dead.
