An outstanding start to my day - as always! Merci Moeman. 5th picture down is my favourite - that is a classic pose and the mind does all the great work for you.btw - who is the chick on the Habs towel?
"The Los Angeles Kings will be building a special “Sandley” Cup in Nokia Plaza L.A. LIVE as part of NHL Playoff festivities."
Happy SFriday everyone.
Larry wants to come home.http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=395540Maybe this comment says why he hasn't been considered?:As a Devils fan I have nothing but respect for Robinson, but twice in the last decade he's had to limit his role with the team due to stress issues. I'm not sure that Montreal, which is a considerably higher-stress environment than New Jersey, would be a great fit for him health-wise. Especially as head coach.
It would be to come here to be assistant coach I think. He wanted to come back years ago but he never got the call. To see Larry working with our guys...what a thing of beauty that could be. I know a few months ago on Tony Marinaro's show they had Larry's agent on and it was all set for him to come here (they showed interest on both sides, etc) but they never bothered to call.
Happy SF everyone! I'm off to the beach...
Thanks for the Woody Moeman
Oh, and love the grey sweats!
Does desert sand count? Love that kitty in those pink shades!
Great job moe, love Olivia Wilde (aka 13).Everyone, don't forget to cheer on Nathan Beaulieu and the Saint John Sea Dogs next week in the Memorial Cup tournament. You can spread the love around a little to Jared Tinordi if you wish, but none for those dastardly Shawinigan Cataractes.Cheers all!
Heard Gallant on the Fan today, no love for Beaulideau, it was all Huberdeau and some other guy I never heard of.
Yeah, Charlie Coyle, he didn't do much. He'll be playing in Minnesota next year. Kind of reminds me of Patches the way he plays.Huberdeau, Habs fans will be drooling over him for the next decade or so just like Vinny. The Russian kid, Galiev, got an NHL shot, one that Gomez can only dream of. Watch him in Washington in the next year or two. He only had a hat trick plus two helpers last night.Tomas Jurco, Detroit will groom him in the minors but he will be second line material for them.Nathan will be as good as or better than PFK.Next year is going to be tough, we are spoiled now in Saint John.
I would hope they make a big play to get him. Mr Molson should call the owner of the Panthers and offer a couple of cases of beer on the side if you catch my drift. Panthers are bankrupt, stranger things have happened.
Salary cap doesn't forbid buying draft picks now, does it.
Our second pick should be a good onehttp://lastwordonsports.com/2012/05/11/nhl-draft-prospect-profile-36-damon-severson/
I'm personally hoping for Henrik Samuelsson to fall to us, he'd be great to troll Cam Neely and the Bruins with.
Hey Pretzel, now your knee looks like your back
Tom repliesSubject: New Democrats on Canada's drug policyThank you for writing. I appreciate having the benefits of your comments.First, please know that the New Democratic Party of Canada is a truly democratic party and it is the membership at convention who debate and vote on the direction of the Party, including drug policy. For instance, at our June 2011 convention, delegates adopted a resolution supporting the harm-reduction work of Canada's safe injection site, InSite. Specific to this issue, I endorsed a civil society initiative in Montreal to open safe injection sites in the province of Quebec. That service is now under way, following the landmark Supreme Court ruling on InSite.I strongly support our Party's policy on granting access to medical use of marijuana, while maintaining dedicated programs to help those who are dealing with negative health and social consequences of recreational drug use. In fact, at its council meeting in October 2011, the Quebec section of the NDP passed a resolution calling on the federal government to allow provinces to create a more flexible regulatory framework, permitting home grown marijuana for medical purposes.I also support the party's existing policy on further decriminalizing the possession of marijuana for any use with the goal to eliminate the influence of organized crime on the production and distribution of marijuana. In order to make good on those policies, we first need to replace the Harper government with its wrongheaded ideological approach to criminal issues. Contrary to Stephen Harper, I strongly believe that criminalization is not the appropriate answer in any area of social policy. Having a reputation as a principled regulator and an innovator on environmental policy, I support an approach that focuses on harm reduction rather than criminalization. It has been 40 years since the landmark report "LeDain Commission on the Non-Medical use of Drugs". It's time to move forward with a national discussion that will focus on a non-punitive, regulatory approach to marijuana use with an emphasis on prevention, education and health promotion. In a recent interview, NDP Deputy Justice critic Craig Scott reinforced our approach. He said, "If we're going to make good public policy it has to be based on good evidence. We have seen the evidence in Europe over the last 12 years. We've seen that even in the place where there's the greatest violence in Latin America they're saying this isn't working. We've seen the evidence out of the United States of America. All of the public health officers across this country are saying in the interest of health we need to look at decriminalization, regulation, and taxation. In the same way that we do with alcohol and tobacco because alcohol is at the top of the food chain in terms of the health damage it does." Again, thank you for writing. Please know that I, along with my team of New Democrat MPs, will continue to work hard to earn your confidence.Sincerely,Thomas Mulcair, M.P. (Outremont)Leader of the Official Opposition New Democratic Party of Canada
Nice.Three more years of The HarperCrits. Weird/sad/sick how 35% of the dumbest Canadians put these fuckers in power.
What was the content of your letter to Tom, Steve?
He was on video saying I hate pot and pot is bad and I am a badass on pot.So I said I will never vote for you.
this was at least a month ago
He was on video all hardass of pot. I said you lost my vote. BTW it may not be your issue, but anyone who is not scared by the Harper machine, should be sending an e mail about every issue to their MP. Every email from you is worth a ten thousand they did not get. It scares them, as the reply I got above demonstrates.
A hard rain is going to fall, be prepared. Something that mitigates the effect of tear gas will be essential.
Counting the days till harper's gone. Bunch of dictating-do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do-and-cover-it-up-till-voters-get-wind-of-it-and-brush-it-aside autocrats.
Know what? Notice that perpetual little smirk Harper always seems to have and those beady eyes...I'll bet he's actually a closet smoker.
Go Knights! Always love their unis...and I almost moved to London for work.
I watched Russia vs Sweden while at work. Emelin pissed them all off :D Scored the game tying goal and drove Franzen and Landeskog bonkers. It was fantastic. They were down 3-1, won 7-3 with a Malkin hat trick. So like why doesn't Emelin play more on the power play eh?
Maybe next season new coach will make some great changes.GO Habs!
Plenty of FutureHabs in the Memorial Cup!
We always knew he was full of it.http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2012/05/04/depend-adult-diaper-ad-pj-stock_n_1477688.html
Holtby became a daddy on Thursday. He & fiance planned to have the baby on a day off so as not to cause a distraction to the team.Go Holtby!Go Caps!
Emelin suspended a game. Whatevs. It was worth it. Fuck you Franzen.
haha Kalinin broke Franzen's nose.
Fringe is a little bit about our habbies. Its a mindblower and tuck yourself in, bring a clipboard and pocket protector, and it deliverers.http://gorillavid.in/2fpjdibyn8npIts about the best case I can make for bringing back TITS. Love you tits, really.
Did you see the finale last night? What did you think?
I mean, besides that scene you linked to (it's been taken down, but I think it's the Charlotte from Lost being interviewed while dead scene)
Yes I saw the finale. It blew me away, I cant believe Fringe is on the Fringe, what a fantastic story line and they wrap it all up in a neat package/
The 4 suspects who paralised the Montreal metro system will face terrorism charges. http://yourlaws.ca/criminal-code-canada/83231-hoax-regarding-terrorist-activity
Only in Fringe would the Metro system be parrallized, in fact it was the major thrust of the plot for 4 seasons.
Life imitating art.
always knew Tits would not party to hea ty\ http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2012/05/11/turns-out-radulov-and-kostitsyn-may-have-missed-curfew-by-an-hour/
Going to get home too late tonight to watch the game. Keep me posted guys. Go Caps. I guess. Lesser of two evils.
Steve, you can forget about TITS, he is finished in this league. KHL bound.Get used to NAG, maybe little pepperpot Brendan Gallagher makes the big club this season, he was close last year.
Hamerlik scores!!!2-1 NYR
C R A P!NYR take it 2-1
CRAP! Devils will take 'em.
Seeing Holtby's beard under his helmet sometimes reminded me of Chubaka.
meh Buttmans ordered a LA NY final
Happy Mother's Day to all the Mommies!
This is sooo funny.Fifty Shades of Grey-for guys, the naughty bits in the book with names of Montreal Canadiens players.http://www.925thebeat.ca/audioplayer.php?mp3=132956
FHFemmes, turn up the volume, close your eyes, I think this is more for us. I like the first one, you'll know why....fantasize.
My compatability quiz results for today.Welcome to Friendsville – population: you and Erik Cole! Put in a little more time and you'll soon be on your way to becoming besties.
72.73%You and Erik Cole clearly think the same way. Find a charades tournament and sign yourselves up immediately.haha...
Just saw the hit Salmela did on Goligoski World Championship with USA up 5-0)... Even Team Finland's coach was glaring at his guy.
That was brutal.
The only thing deader than FHF at the moment, is the new dead puck hockey league. Here is a solution, since it is so much easier to defend than to attack, every team has two rovers, who can only play in the attack zone. A perfect position for our Russkies. So in the attack zone its always 7 on 5.
From the cheap seats hockey in the offensive zone will look like warriors chopping wood.
Dale Hunter quits and goes home to Canada to coach his team theLondon Knights of the Ontario.
Something TiTs will never do to win the cup! And not drinking is out of the question as well.
On the other hand, its the best breakup excuse ever. Its not you its the Olympics.
Not you, now me, just the sport. No girl would fall for that either.
Just thought I'd pop in to keep Steve company. Hello!I admit to having a modicum of interest in a NJ-NYR series. Not just a modicum, but maybe even a smattering! Theere should be some good blood by the second period. I like blood. So did Dale Hunter learn French in his time with the Nords? Coaching position (bilingualism a requirement) available!
I do know that Bergeron of RDS really likes him, likely cause of the diques, even mentioned 'mes meilleurs memoirs.
On the plus side of the 4HF ledger (not that there aren't a million pluses already), it looks like the time stamp on comments is fixed. Well done, moeman!
I noticed, I will no longer have to do math!
ALTERNATIVE TO HOCKEY PROGRAMMING ALERTFor fans of pic #7 in this post, Thirteen returns to House tonight (9 PM, Fox). (whoops, uh, spoiler?)
I wanted to the blood spill during the game, but I will likely miss it tonight. I remember one game between these two where there were at least 4 pairs fighting at faceoff on center ice.
Since I absolutely despise the NJ Devils and Fat Marty, I will not watch any of this series until I think they can be eliminated. This weekend I will be cheering on the Sea Dogs to repeat as Memorial Cup (fuck Mastercard) champions. I'll continue to watch Team Canada overseas as well. So, still a little bit of hockey to watch before the June draft.Olivia Wilde is hot, I think it's her eyes that attract me. I gave up on House last season, just got tired of it. Spartacus, The Walking Dead and Big Bang Theory are the only TV shows that interest me, although people are recommending Game of Thrones. So, are the Habs up to anything these days?
Anybody check out the Avengers yet? Good movie, I'm going again with the two boys this week.
No news since Dudley that I've heard.
Who gives a crap about the Habsbut GAME OF THRONES!!!! I recommend highly. I am a huge Sci-Fi fan (as Steve will tell you) but generally hate the Fantasy side of that genre. But GoT is well worth your time imho. Not just the HBO sex and violence, it's a very engaging show. From the opening credits (best them EVAH) you'll be hooked
Love the Borgias.
I am interested in Game of Thrones but don't have HBO.
juce we never had this conversation: http://eztv.it/shows/481/game-of-thrones/
Here's my favourite GoT theme available on the interwebs. Nicely captures the epic-ness of the whole thing
Thanks a million, but what conversation?
;) nudge nudge wink wink say no more ;)

I'm drunk so I threw up a new thread prior to game time for anyone who is around. See you over there!
I have read some excellent stuff here. Certainly value bookmarking for revisiting.I wonder how a lot attempt you place to create the sort of wonderful informative web site. Also visit my blog post ... vertical jump workouts
