    1. But the leaf have the greatest AHL team ever, which means they will win the cup next year, no way Norfolk beats them.

With Red leaving does this mean we get Jack The Todd with his view from Nebraska full time?

    God help us all.

    1. Do you know how many times the Bulldogs were screwed by the AHL's incompetent refs in championship games? Way more than the BabyLeaf. But that's also because they've had more playoff games. Zing!

    1. Many great artist failed again and again, and most were not recognized until after they were dead. CHumD has the basic skills, he painted some black velvet stuff in the past, but maybe, there is a chance he now will break out the oils and create a masterpiece. I know it sounds crazy but thats what I am thinking.

    6. I do not like to get political (who you kidding Steve). But in Northern Europe the people live like Kings, and they have no Natural Resources and as my experience tells me little inclination to change with the times. How can they be so stupid to take centuries of success and not adapt to our Harper world.

    7. True, there were.
I think Steve came to Montreal incognito and masterminded that one.

Actually, there were a few groups last night.

      1) Some anti-capitalist group tried to disrupt the Grand Prix cocktail party (PFK in attendance). Cops kept them from getting anywhere near that one. Protester says it is wrong when people pay $1000. for a ticket when parents can't buy diapers for their babies:
      SO DON'T HAVE KIDS
The monies raised at this event goes to the children's hospitals.

When that didn't they tried to take it to Crescent St. and they couldn't get near that either. Crescent is closed to traffic and race cars are on display, nightly concerts, celeb appearances. Last year PFK joined the pit crew competition to see how fast they could change tires.
This group was joined by the naked students. Some girls wore red squares as pasties, some were nude others just should have stayed covered up ugh!
These events are free and open to everyone (except idiots mentioned above) so after they find a diaper for their kid, come on down, you won't even have to pay for a sitter.
Villeneuve was right. Go back to school, you're making us look like idiots to the world.
By the way, Steve, did you get an eyeful of his date?

And that's my rant for today.

  13. All my distempter could be attributed to a lost graphical image, in the old days we would have said a lost photo. But its not true. Although I dont think I have ever seen a picture of a women that spoke to me in such an impactful way. What was the impact you all wonder, read the Toronto papers and see all the unexpected repairs needed, I was driving with the sunroof open on the lakeshore, thats all I am saying.

I don't know where Steve came up with the nickname CHumD for Therrien, but I would accept CHumP.

If it's warm enough to march in the nude in Montreal could you please send some of that heat down to the Maritimes, fuck it's cold!

Just read some stuff on Grigorenko and Murray. If Yakupov and Galchenyuk go one/two Montreal will get a very good player regardless. It's a positive spin in light of what's happened recently.

Careful moe, Scotty gave the thumbs up to McSplooge if you'll recall. A poster over at HIO made a comment that kinda reflects how I feel. I've watched very little of the NHL playoffs and I consider myself a hockey fan as well as a Canadiens fan. There is just nothing to attract me to watch. I was vested in the Sea Dogs and watched some of the IIHF world championships until Canada was eliminated. LA/NJ was just....meh, as Mr. Gillis likes to say. Even 29 is more interested in the NBA.

So, the only things keeping me interested has been the on-going rebuilding of the Canadiens front office and the upcoming draft. Free agency is a wash because there's nobody they can get or probably worth getting.

Heh, Breezer as D-man coach make anybody nervous?

      Delete
    2. I feel the Canadiens will have a better season regardless of who the coach is. Not saying the coach isn't an essential part of the puzzle just that with all the man games lost to injuries through the season, young players etc. things can only improve.
Especially once they solve the problem of Gomez and Kaberle.

      Delete
    3. it can only be better next year, if its worse, well we better get number one

      Delete
    4. I'm still not certain if MT2 is a good thing or a bad thing. I, however, did not play for 20 years in the NHL, nor did I coach God only knows how many teams that won the Stanley Cup - so for now, I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt and stand firmly behind our new coach and GM.

Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go!!!! (I've missed typing that!)
