      Delete
    4. I disagree, we have put all of our cards on TFS, he is for the next ten years at least our number one playing sixty plus a year and all the playoffs. Subban is a wasted pick unless you dont have faith in TFS.
And on that count, it never hurts to have a backup plan, see Luango.

For the first time in a long time, Habs are going to get a star player. Doesn't matter if it's Gchuk, Gmoe or FF. I agree that they are thin in goalie depth but no way Malcom falls to 32. Montreal will have to look at taking a goalie in a few years for sure but as long as they can find a suitable back-up in free agency I'm OK with that. I actually like Budycall, he's still young and I think is a reliable alternative to TFS every 5 or so.

I hope Teabag Timmy does fuck off for a year and never comes back.

    1. Budaj is actually older than TFS, 29 and 24 respectively.
TFS has a few more games (271) in his 4yr career compared to Budaj's (259) 6yr career.

Just to clarify my comment above I am not anti-French. I am anti-separatist. I know that the head coach has to be bilingual but as has been pointed out many times that really limits your hiring pool. Montreal will never be able to hire the best coach available so we have to accept that fact and hope for a superior effort by the players and more than a fair share of luck, kind of like when Jean Perron won.

@juce, 29 is primetime for most goalies. Look at Teabag Timmy the nut winning it all last year at 37.

I also noticed Number31 mentioned that the BJ's released Mathieu Corbeil. No doubt after watching that crappy performance at the Memorial Cup. Surely there is an AHL goalie available to play in Hamilton.

Our lives are made of momentary words and frames. We never know what happens next in life but to be able to reflect as the protagonist does is an experience. The film is sublimely short and hits the heart and head with an aplomb that actually hurts. I have re-watched fit almost 20 times. Its beautifully made and deeply touching.
