    1. P.K. Subban’s agent said there is no truth the report that Subban asked for a 5 year deal at $30 million, ”Another erroneous report. PK has not made any such request” Lariviere adds that his sources said that talks have been going on for a month, and they are moving very slow right now.

  3. Happy SF, 4HFers!
    Some really amazing pics, moeman.

  4. 35 years! Man I remember it like yesterday. I was at the cottage in the Laurentians (Seize Isles) and the announcement came on the CBC - might have been CTV - I don't know - I remember (at the time) thinking - meh - Elvis is dead - no biggie - now I know how immature that sounds. Kinda lke my kids a few years ago - "Michael Jackson is dead - no biggies" - they will remember those words many years from now.

Moeman, that plastic ass at the end (see what I did there) reminds me of the girls I knew back in high school - they all strived to achieved the "golden Triangle" (as we called it back then) and some, to their credit and our absolute delight, reached their goal. You sir, have captured an absolute peach of an example. (...stands...applauds!)

Bank Holiday in the UK! Here comes the rain!!

  5. I asked the other day WTF this guy was and why was he stirring up the "no francophone players" shit pot again.

Well, I like the way this guy rips him a new one. (and a shot a the Gazette)

    1. Facing the camera...back to the camera - pretty much the same difference - Moeman does have certain criteria for SF - I would have thought...

    2. Of course, standards on SF are very stringent. Many are on the outside looking in.

      ugh.
She can sing but I can't get past the refusal of the best english album. Funny look at her go in Vegas. Place is crawling with hinglish...

    5. @Chester, I remember that, though I don't remember her refusing any of the english money from the english album.

  7. I believe Armstrong is innocent.

From the beginning, however, this investigation has not been about learning the truth or cleaning up cycling, but about punishing me at all costs. I am a retired cyclist, yet USADA has lodged charges over 17 years old despite its own 8-year limitation. As respected organizations such as UCI and USA Cycling have made clear, USADA lacks jurisdiction even to bring these charges. The international bodies governing cycling have ordered USADA to stop, have given notice that no one should participate in USADA's improper proceedings, and have made it clear the pronouncements by USADA that it has banned people for life or stripped them of their accomplishments are made without authority. And as many others, including USADA's own arbitrators, have found, there is nothing even remotely fair about its process. USADA has broken the law, turned its back on its own rules, and stiff-armed those who have tried to persuade USADA to honor its obligations. At every turn, USADA has played the role of a bully, threatening everyone in its way and challenging the good faith of anyone who questions its motives or its methods, all at U.S. taxpayers' expense. For the last two months, USADA has endlessly repeated the mantra that there should be a single set of rules, applicable to all, but they have arrogantly refused to practice what they preach. On top of all that, USADA has allegedly made deals with other riders that circumvent their own rules as long as they said I cheated. Many of those riders continue to race today.

    1. I dont know, I suspect he was juced, when everybody else was, and he beat them all it makes one wonder. However, let sleeping dogs lie.

He beat the tests,so there. But as Dick The Pound says, the tests are always years behind the juice.
I think things are just catching up to him ... right Roger?

    3. Putting Armstrong's situation aside for a moment, if guilt is assumed even when tests show otherwise, after how many tests and at what point in time should test results be accepted as correct? Why do the testing?
I agree they can't catch every cheater all the time, but this guy's been tested like there's no tomorrow.

    2. He's occupying the rink at 1000 de la Gauchetiere. Reports say he refuses to leave till Buttman cedes to the NHLPA demands so he can finally get to play at the Bell Centre.

  13. Apparently this new CHLPA was created without the players or coaches knowledge. Pretty much every kid they ask is confused by it. And now this mysterious union thinks fans should be charged more...for junior hockey. (Read it all on the feed of a guy who covers junior hockey).

Y'know why no one went to see the Montreal Juniors? Because a ticket in the Molson zone for the Habs was fucking CHEAPER.
