NHLPA calling to the faraway 4HFans
bettman's war is declared, fuckin' pro-American
NHLPA calling to the underworld
Come out of the CHupboard you 4HFboys and girls

Owners calling, now don't lecture us
Phoney bettmanmania has bitten the dust
Daly calling, see he ain't got no swing
'Cept for the reign of that fuckface thing

The ice age isn't coming, no fun is zooming in
Meltdown expected, the profits growing thin
Players stop skating, but I have no fear
'Cause bettman is drowning and I live by the river
… (like I'm CHanging that!) ...

Blowhard burke calling to the imitation zone
Forget it, big brother you can go at it alone
Jacobs calling to the zombies of death
Quit holding out and take some more meth

Phoenix calling and they don't wan't out
But while they were playing we saw money running out
NHL calling say they ain't got no high
Except just to fuck the fans who need a bloody shot of rye

The ice age isn't coming, no fun is zooming in
Players stop skating, but I have no fear
Another NHL nuclear error, but I have no fear
'Cause bettman is drowning and I live by the river

The ice age isn't coming, no fun is zooming in
Players stop skating, but I have no fear
Another NHL nuclear error, but I have no fear
'Cause bettman is drowning and I live by the river

Now get this, NHLPA calling, yes, Josh was there, too
And you know what they said well some of it was true
NHLPA calling at the top of the dial
And after all this, will PFK! give us a smile?
NHLPA calling, players never felt so much alive alive alive alive

Something's up. All these players being signed to extensions....it's all bullshit. This lockout might last a couple of weeks at best. Fuckface and Fehr Itself will work someting out over this weekend.

  2. Great poem. Can't we all just get along? The players are rich and the owners are richer, how much more money do they want from us?

BTW those Archie comics are getting racier. Archie had to "beat off" three other guys? WTF

Meanwhile, the union says it has filed an application with Quebec's labour relations board, along with at least 16 players of the Montreal Canadiens, asking it to declare a lockout illegal in the province.

A hearing on the application is scheduled for Friday morning in Montreal.

  7. Alberta law requires that the Flames and Oilers can’t hold a lockout vote until the league’s requested a mediator — which actually did happen. Alberta appointed one on Aug. 21.

The NHLPA is arguing that the league wasn’t willing to negotiate with the mediator. They said that the process was cut short after just three days without the two sides actually meeting.

With that in mind, the NHLPA is arguing that the process was faulty because the league rushed it.

If the Alberta Labour Relations Board rules in favor of the NHLPA, then the Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers will not be allowed to lock out their players.

Meanwhile, the province of Ontario has already given the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators permission to lock out their players on Sept. 15, according to the Toronto Star.

  11. You know that Bizarro World has been entered when extreme über-douchebag and leaf/broon-sucking POS ByGregWyshynski references BR to slag 'swag' about, yup, you guessed it, our Canadiens. Have I ever mentioned that ByGregWyshynski is nothing short of the biggest turd in hockey blogging?

  12. Whilst here, the only issue that bugs me about PFK! is that some think MT2 needs to rein him in and that PFK!'s style is not what MT2 likes. Really?

    1. If MT2 can't work with PK, MT2 will be scouting for the Wild again.

    2. Speaking of PFK, I suppose Management receives a copy of the application filed with the QLB.....if PFK's name is one of those 16 on it, fat chance he'll get a contract very before Saturday or the long term one he would like to have.

  16. I must admit at first I just glanced over the parody but after studying the lines a little more I realise that you now have a classic line - and it will stick with me until this shit is over...'Cause bettman is drowning and I live by the river" - outstanding!

    2. It's all inspired Moeman! You are a true blogging legend - don't pay any attention to the naysayers - with lines like "Quit holding out and take some more meth" - I mean - you are doing God's work here! (BTW - in the Archie comic strip someone obviously took out the word "with" just before "3 other guys")

Pon Farr. Vulcans only fuck every seven years.

There would be a massive buildup of semen. That load could cut through steel. Vulcan women must be tough.

Hold it .. he smootches with Uhura, then claims that he's gay so he goes both ways, so that's Pon Farr and Farr Pon...

We better get some hockey soon

"Bettman Says No Deal, No Season."

You know what Gary? So what. I haven't seen an NHL game on TV since early April. I'm actually in no hurry for your league to start up. If I want to go to a hockey game I can go watch junior hockey at a reasonable price. There's football on now, NASCAR is still running and I enjoy watching golf now as well.

So I'd be careful if I were you. You continue to alienate us longtime fans...you risk losing us altogether. Hey, I stopped buying hockey cards some time ago. I may not support your money losing southern franchises when I start wintering down south. I can spend my baby boomer money on other things Gary. Asshole.
