In a world where scum like Buttman actually impact our level of "life fulfillment" (don't deny me the opportunity to watch the best hockey players in the world you cock!), you Mr. Moeman, are a rare beam of shining light - you bring a smile to our faces and create a sense of anticipation..."I wonder what SF will look like today?"...to our lives. Merci Beaucoup!
"I agree 100 percent with Hammer," Neuvirth told TVA Nova Sport in the Czech Republic. "This lockout is not about majority of players, I think. It is about several superstars with big contracts."
I don't think this is helping their cause at all. Buttface will surely see this as the start of a breakdown amongst the NHLPA giving him more leverage.
“If there are fans out there who think for a moment that I don’t respect them, hopefully they understand that I do. I look forward to bringing this team back on the ice for them as much as they look forward to watching our team.
“And I’ll do everything I can to make sure we come back in style and the right way.”
"For me, I think those guys selling us out, being selfish like that and making those comments..." Brouwer continued. "Me being on their team, how am I going to trust them as a teammate from now on? Because you know they're not going to support players in the big scheme of things when you go and you play on the team with them; it's going to be tough to want to back those guys from now on."
So the All-Star game in Columbus has been officially cancelled, how tragic.
I listened to both Daly and S. Fehr on Hockey Central @ Noon today, both sounded profoundly sad that the season is slipping away. Right. This has definitely turned into a war about money, pure greed. I hope the whole business crashes and burns, the league folds and the players all lose their high paying jobs. Go join Gomer in the ECHL or go to Europe or the KHL. A pox on their houses.
Another reason to hate the Boston Bruins. According to Pat Hickey, as I suspected all along, Shitbruins owner dipstick Jeremy Jacobs is the driving force behind the lockout with Buttface and Dickwad as his sock puppets. No wonder Chris Campoli wanted to strangle the old fuck. First a near death on the ice with the shaved ape, then a phoney Stanley Cup and now a greed tainted labour dispute. Fuck you Jacobs. Fuck your crap team and fuck your neanderthal players. Even Cornelius Hardenbaugh couldn't defend that outfit now. Are you with me 4HFer's???!!??!??

Thank God someone over here has finally seen sense and brought in a Canadian to help sort shit over here. Only thing I'm worried about is that politicians from both sides are agreeing with the selection...
This is why we are staring into the face of a winter without NHL hockey. Because Bettman, a pint-sized Grinch with a pea-sized heart, has no passion for the game. He does not like or respect the players, he has no use for the journalists who cover the game, he doesn’t care a fig for the thousands or tens of thousands of people who have lost their jobs or had their hours reduced because of the Bettman lockout.
hehe Geoff says it will now be near the Montmorency metro station. This started before the Charbonneau Commission, (with the former mayor, I think) then the Mayor left, but still Geoff moves on even though he`s not Sicilian.
"Beckenbaugh was acting director of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service during the NHL's last lockout and sat in on sessions at that time. One of those occurred just three days before commissioner Gary Bettman cancelled the entire season in February 2005."
“Within one hour after I issued a press release announcing that further negotiations between the NHL and NHLPA would be conducted under the auspices of the FMCS, it has been called to my attention that there are issues involving an allegedly hacked Twitter account associated with Commissioner Guy Serota, one of the mediators I assigned. Accordingly, in order to immediately dispel any cloud on the mediation process, and without regard to the merits of the allegations, I have determined to take immediate action, namely to remove Commissioner Serota from this assignment.”
“There will be no further comment from the FMCS on this matter.”
When asked a similar question about Hamrlik's comments, Ovechkin was not as diplomatic as the Penguins star.
"I'm not on his side, I'm not on Hamrlik's side to be honest with you," Ovechkin said. "I played last year with him and he always tells what he thinks, but right now it's not that time to say what you think. You can say that at the bar or with your friends, but you can't show you're upset to the media. Again, I'm not with him and I'm kind of disappointed in what he said."
Ovechkin went on to say that he thinks the comments made by his Washington teammates were not shared by his fellow players and that as a group they have to stay united.
Warp drive is when you exceed the speed of light and bend the space/time continuum to get around the physical universe. Travelling the astral plane requires separating your spiritual self from your physical self which requires imbibing mind altering substances or studying for decades in a Tibetan monastary.

I've come to the conclusion, based on some comments over at HI/O, that bruins dickwad Jeremy Jacobs is the driving force, along with Proskauer Rose lockout specialist Bob Batterman in this 4 owner driven lockout. Like I said before, Buttman and Boy Blunder are just lying mouthpieces who take up space in the room. Jack Todd figures there needs to be a revolt in the owners room and should be led by Geoff Molson. Jacobs is a greedy, miserable piece of shit who, it sounds like, would jip his own grandmother for a nickle. I am firmly in the players camp now and if the season goes down, the bruins fans realize who was the main instigator and stay away from the Gahden in droves and not buy one hot dog or beer if they do go.
Sources confirm that NHL commissioner Gary Bettman is awaiting response from NHLPA executive director Donald Fehr on a proposal that owners and players have a bargaining session without any NHL or NHLPA leaders or staff in the room.
