  2. "Posted by moeman at 05:56" You must be getting your motivation from the morning glory. However you motivate yourself to produce such fine work is fine by me. A MM that definitely does the trick and hopefully helps get us all through another hockeyless week.

    FYB!! FYB!!! FYB!!!!

I think 4 Hockey Fans is the appropriate name for this blog these days. There are only 4 of us left: Juce, Steve, Kmaxxx and myself, with guest star moeman on occasion.

    1. The M - Blame it on Buttman - he's killed the game in so many ways. This blog is just another example. My heart really goes out to Mr. Moeman - because of what Buttman has done, there is no hockey stuff to blog about. No new pictures of hockey players to add. He is forced to trawl the depths of the internet to find all the scantily clad women and men who adorn the pages of 4HF of late...and no one is commenting because, unlike the aforementioned group, they all have lives and have totally lost interest in hockey. I know that they will be back. Moey will return, as will Hadulf. Not sure if we'll ever see the likes of Cornelius again but you never know. 29 pops in from time to time (but I know it's tough getting "internet usage" permissions when you are on day release from the meth rehab clinic) But he'll be back. I think that Orangeman is still in the far east (but might have missed a memo) so if this fuckin' lockout ever ends, they will all be back. Until such time, we'll have to keep Moeman encouraged to trawl the net for more stuff to keep the spirit of les tricolores alive.

      Merci Moeman

    1. Their paywall is easy to jump over. Just clear any specific cached cookies and you are in for 10 more articles, 5 of which are just regurgitated AP/Reuter stories.

    2. Thanks, will give it a try.

    3. If you just hit escape when the paywall loads. It'll take the paywall away and you can read your article as well. Easier than clearing your cached cookies.

  10. From TSN:

NHLPA special counsel Steve Fehr says he believes the NHL's labour deal can be wrapped up once three issues are solved: the split of money, player contract rules and who pays for the damage caused by the lockout.

    Really?

We know who cause 3rd issue.

    FYB!

Gentlemen, you can't fight in here, this is the war room!
    He'll see the big board!
Mr. President, I'm not saying we wouldn't get our hair mussed, but I do say no more than ten to twenty million killed, tops, uh, depending on the breaks.
    - and some things about essence of our bodily fluids

I would go on, but I have hockey to not watch

It had been so long since I saw that movie, I didn't realize that Peter Sellars played 3 parts: the President, RAF XO to the kookoo General and of course Dr. Strangelove.

It cracked me up at the end when he kept calling the President "Mein Fuehrer" and his right arm kept trying to do the seig heil salute. Hilarious!

Saw an interview with Slim Pickens and he had a horrible stutter. Could hardly get out half a sentence. Yet with a script he talks without a stammer. Funny things.

  15. Not to read too much into in but, if ti-boom-boom has already suffered multiple concussions, as a mother, I say give it up, Son, you still have a bright future ahead of you. The game is not worth you health.

As a Canadiens fan, I'd like to see you get healthy, get back and set records.

    From USA Today:
Blake, who has his degree from the University of Wisconsin, suffered multiple concussions in the past, which gives his family cause for extra concern.

"You ask me, 'Is he going to be raring to go in a year from now?' Yeah, absolutely, probably if everything goes well, probably in eight months to 10 months, I feel like he'll be a race horse ready to hit it again," Danny said. "But now you can't just look at that aspect of it. You have to look at quality of life when he's 50 years old."

This story out of the US about the CIA and the FBI and adulterous affairs is unfreakin' believable. Even Steve couldn't write a script like this.

Kypreos ripped him good today. Millard said he (Recchi) should stick to medical diagnoses. Too think he used to wear a Habs uniform.

If the NHL does lose the season, I wonder if Saku will retire? Probably seen the last of a lot of older players. Selanne would be another. Oh, and Martin F.
