  4. Whooo Hooo! SF is rockin' the joint today! Excellent effort Moeman! It's snowing like a bitch in London and the hockey season starts tomorrow - Fuck me I feel re-born! Right now, I no longer give a shit if PFK signs or not...mind you that might change if the Habs get beat up by the fuckin leaf tomorrow night...but at the end of the day, he either wants to be a Hab or he doesn't. I don't want to hear anything about it not being in his hands. It is his career and if he truly wants to become a hockey immortal, he'll play his hockey in the only city where being a true superstar guarantees that!

  8. WE WANT PK!

Remember: No PK means Kaberle gets more minutes which means he's be on the penalty kill which means OMFG DID NO ONE WATCH LAST YEAR?!

And Blunden stays :D Seriously, am I the only fan who really likes him? He's like a goofy Moen.

    2. He may be one chin less than two, but he's still a wet noodle on D. Call me when he hits a guy like PK does or clears the net. Or doesn't turnover the puck a zillion times behind his own net.

All I want for Eller is that he remains a center and has more to work with than Bourque (still not convinced he'll wake up). We may need an Emergency Andrei Kostitsyn call.

    3. Subban, who learned of the chant from The Gazette’s Dave Stubbs, replied with a text message saying: “Thank you! I miss you guys! I truly love the fans and I think we have a great connection. Fans recognize fans! I know what the fans want to see and that’s heart and soul on every play. I think that’s where we get along. I love Montreal fans, they’re a big reason why I love putting on the sweater every game.”

    4. Here's what it sounded like, though I think timing for theme from "The Price Is Right" was just a bad coincidence.

  9. TGISF!

I thought it was really cool that the team along with Geoff and DGMB stood in line at the entrance and let the fans high-five them.
Hope no one comes down with the flu 'cause 'tis that season and it's a short hockey season.

    GO HABS GO!!!

That just shows how bad the Habs were up front, an 18 year old makes it.

The back end isn't great, not very tough but fairly mobile even without PK. They're going to give up lots of scoring opportunities, have to hope TFS is sharp. Heard he has a tweaked groin from last night, I hope the massage therapists at the strip club were busy today working that out.

JohnnyLoo reporting that gCHuk will billet with a veteran. Captain has doubts he'd like the early mornings/crying kids of the Gionta household.

Which hab would you like to live with? I expect different answers from differing reasons from each FHFGender. wink, wink, nudge, nudge

I don't like country music so TFS is out. I'm not religeous so Gorges is out. I bet Moen likes a good steak. I'd shack up with Moen. Plus his wife ain't hard to look at.

"The notion that we were asking for too much was floated in the Toronto media by a team that was extremely interested in acquiring Roberto and were using every means possible to try and force us to do something that we didn't think was right. That's nothing new in this business and it's not the type of pressure that I'm going to succumb too."

  22. A cousin of mine posted this at FB;

It happened at a New York Airport. This is hilarious. I
wish I had the guts of this girl. An award should go to the United
Airlines gate agent in New York for being smart and funny, while
making her point, when confronted with a passenger who probably
deserved to fly as cargo. For all of you out there who have had to
deal with an irate customer, this one is for you.

A crowded United Airlines flight was canceled. A
single agent was re-booking a long line of inconvenienced travelers.

Suddenly, an angry passenger pushed his way to the desk. He slapped his ticket on the counter and said, "I HAVE to be on this flight and it has to be FIRST CLASS."

The agent replied, "I'm sorry, sir. I'll be happy to try
to help you, but I've got to help these folks first; and then I'm
sure we'll be able to work something out."

The passenger was unimpressed. He asked loudly, so that
the passengers behind him could hear, "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO I AM?"

Without hesitating, the agent smiled and grabbed her
public address microphone. "May I have your attention, please?", she began, her voice heard clearly throughout the terminal. "We have a passenger here at Gate 14 WHO DOES NOT KNOW WHO HE IS. If anyone can help him with his identity, please come to Gate 14".

With the folks behind him in line laughing hysterically,
the man glared at the United Airlines agent, gritted his teeth, and said, "Fuck You!"

Without flinching, she smiled and said, "I'm sorry sir,
you'll have to get in line for that, too."

Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to
    dance in the rain.

OK, I am weak. If I had to watch Gomer floating around the ice like a useless piece of drift wood or Chokula writing recipes in his useless fucking notebook or look at the Goat's gaunt vegan face, I would have refused to tune in tomorrow night. However, with the launch of a new management team with a volatile coach and the the chance to see the debuts of gChuk and BGally, I cannot resist the tempation and will have to watch the sesaon opener. Also, there is the possibilty of Cheese laying a smacking on some poor slob leaf dman on the forecheck. Please God, let me not hear Bob Cold butchering the play by play with his built in 5 second delay.

    I'm so ashamed........

Definitely going to be alcohol involved.

Nice picture of Danny Gallivan, btw, another Maritimer of some renown. Cannonading drive! Scintilating save! Savardian spinorama! Chew on that Cold.

It's a shame really, Bob Cole was good in his time. He just didn't know when to quit.

Seems the only team that seriously made him an offer was San Jose. He'll fit right in.
