Habs Spring forward into FLA, without CHarger, cuz he sprung forward into the boards and Kid-G CHarges into the crease to win it ~ Game Preview and Open Thread
~ ~ ~
NHL Preview. 18h00 EST puck drop. Set your clocks.
29 wanted to know what he missed last night, I responded on the previous thread:
cbc/hnit making apologies for why the leaf lost to Sid and the Pens and how great kadri is and how fighting is integral to winning and cherry not having enough time to espouse his Jurassic age ideas of honour and the code. I think that about covers it. Oh, and the Montreal Canadiens are first overall in the Eastern Conference not that it matters to anybody in the GTA.
Subban’s two points against Carolina – including the insurance marker on a third period powerplay – have incredibly put him eigth in the league for defensemen in points and tied him for first in goals.
In case you where wondering how have we fucked the leaf lately. Well you have douche$shark in the press box, and the 2nd round pick and a bag of pucks we got for Gravol has turned into Pattern, maybe we should call him plaid, maybe its to soon, and the second round pick we traded away in a move up to pick TinTin, a fairly lopsided deal by any guage.
Gotta love G-Kid and CHarger puts it on the line EVERY game! Get well soon, pull a PatCHes on the healing.
I always said PFK was a keeper, l'Antichambre (Bergeron) now refers to him as a thoroughbred and says MT2.0 needs to let him have more freedom, he will make mistakes but the benefits will be greater and that you can't coach a PFK like you would coach a Cube.
Someone posted on TSN (I tend to believe this one but this crap PC stifles me from confirming) : Habs play 10 back to back games, laffs 9 back to back and the shit stained broons play 5 back to back. I smell the usual buttman/jacobs work behind the curtains.
Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go!!!!!
I'm not one for bandwagoning trade rumours but I'm wondering if Iginla (even if only for the remainder of this surprising season) in exchange for the 2nd pick from the RBQ/Squid deal would work. What say you bitCHes?
nope, Calgary pick is going to be sweet, and Iginia is not going to be the differance maker this year. Maybe its because i dont see him a lot but I think he belongs on most overated list with Celine.
If it was only the return of the 2nd round pick the Goat swindled out of them sure. Can't see it though, Iggy is a western boy. Still if the Habs were still first in the east come deadline day he might if only to have a crack at a Cup.
I find it funny, hilarious actually, that the leaf mediots harp/pat themselves on the back about comments from clod and Sid about them, the leaf, finally making the playoffs. It will be sCHadenfrudingly sweet to see them just slip to 9th and go back to hell.
Darche Vader starts war with Belurusians, Big TiTs in particular. Big TiTs in his defence said"they would not let me finish the playoffs so who really knows/"
Sorry i missed the game last night..(work you know.) not good to see CHarger hurt, Gally is SOMETHING! cant beleieve he lasted until what round was that???hoping that the stoopid fucking leaf had gotten their asses handed to them. Fla on deck GYFHG!!
Thanks 29, actually I don't own a car, last time I did, I scraped it on the 401 back in '95. I wanted to win for a good friend who's always there for me.
I'm sure this has been discussed, but seeing only 10-14 days for Prust settles my ulcer quite a bit, especially since the Habs only have 6 games in the next 2 weeks.
I did some looking at the schedule last night. Out of the 4 games with the broons this year, 3 of them are part of a 2games/2nights. The other one is the 3rd game in 4 nights. The broons? They have lots of rest on either side of every game with the Habs, except because of the Bolts game being cancelled last month they had one back to back (which was in the afternoon, and both at home, giving them more rest).
All good cuz we gots da bess bunCH a fuckin' bitCHes to blog wit! (Bonus, we have a real internet-savvy lawyer type dude to protect/serve us if we ever say something really bad and need some kind of defence meCHanism say vs. a vic toews kinda jerk).
What is really killing us is all that soft stool sitting in the press box. Almost the salary of a real hockey player tied up soft noises to each other.
Highlights from Tampa.

DeleteBTW I am not on the Clowe ver leaf. Let the leaf or Broons have him, he is old and slow and we are full up with that already.
Deleteand yes I would say it to his face, especially since I cant see him fighting a minfig
DeleteSubban’s two points against Carolina – including the insurance marker on a third period powerplay – have incredibly put him eigth in the league for defensemen in points and tied him for first in goals.

ReplyDeleteYes, sure is nice tieing up 4.25mil of leaf cap space, but nothing the Habs really did, that's all on Burka.
DeleteNice job, moeman, as per usual.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to primetime, KmaXXX.

ReplyDeleteMarch is the time the loser gene kicks in.
DeleteI want them to finish fifth and play the broons in the first round and get their arses kicked.
DeleteDarche Vader starts war with Belurusians, Big TiTs in particular. Big TiTs in his defence said"they would not let me finish the playoffs so who really knows/"
ReplyDeletewhich makes one wonder, If Big TiTs was not really great in the Room, was the Mexicant?
DeleteOn the other hand Chocula had Darche Vader on the PP, that is just so wrong.
DeleteGet well CHarger!
ReplyDeleteI feel guilty. It's my fault for giving him that A+++ AND making him pic 'o the day. I was playing with fire.
maybe you could do a feature on the shaved ape and Pretzel. I have come up with working title. Neatherthalls not as extinct as you thought.

DeleteIs it just me or does RDS have way more commercials than CBC?
ReplyDeleteCBC takes our tax dollars and wold rather kiss laff asses than gain ad revenue.
DeleteI also have to say in General French commercials are visually way more interesting than anglo, maybe they should pass a law or something
Deletewell I sure hope CBC does not lose Hockey night in Canada, cause my Punjabi is really improving, and it would force me into a pirate lifestyle.
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteNow they are saying why did we not trade PFK for Huberdeau, why DGMB?

ReplyDeleteHope Budda likes steak, cause Cube is going have to buy him dinner all week.
ReplyDeleteCube, 2 goals, 1 for Habs and 1 for Florida. Boy he owes Budaj now.
ReplyDeleteWas it against the broons that Vodkov did that?
Florida guys are having a field day with Cube's goal. I don't blame them. It's actually kind of funny.
ReplyDeletethe mechanics on PFK shot are all fucked up
ReplyDeleteOk, we get it, you guys can pass the puck.
ReplyDelete+1
DeleteI dont know what we are going to do next year on D, I see only Diazling, PFK and Y comming back.

DeleteI mean like the question is the answer. What city was the band Chicago from?
DeleteFlorida has some big guys, but here is some free advice Dale, check out their fine motor skills before drafting, is Huberdeau injured?

DeleteGreat road trip, boys! Party and rest up, but keep CCR away from St. Catherine.
ReplyDeleteOk, now come up Sens and Pens, beat those goons down!
ReplyDeleteOk, now for work. Nice start to the week, though!
ReplyDeleteThat Cole trade is starting to look a little like totally lopsided picked Dallas pocket like the winners of a swarming championship team.
ReplyDeleteMoeman, 29 - thanks for the thread and all the eforts you put into this blog! I couldn't do without it. God bless you both!
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go!!
GYFHG!
Ditto, without you I might have ended up over at PPP or something worse, the TSN blog.

DeleteOkay good, lets start talking about Rob Ford and Robocalls
DeleteWhat is really killing us is all that soft stool sitting in the press box. Almost the salary of a real hockey player tied up soft noises to each other.
ReplyDeleteif you think me a little ruthless and ungrateful, first have you ever seen Kaka play and second Hockey aint basketball.
DeleteIf Cheese gets sent to the pressbox we will have a full dairy queen banna split.
