Nah, they need a crease clearer not another skill guy. Keep looking Steve.

    2. crease clearing is out, if the puck is not in your end, no need to clear the crease.

    1. Both true, but mostly like Bill Dautrieve from King of the Hill. I think somebody posted that time-lapse gif last week. Also a killer.

As I mentioned in the other thread the hilarious part about this latest animated gif is that was him acting surprised and mocking/imitating Kunitz for faking it after getting clipped in the face by a goalie stick.

  7. Anyone hear that Ti-Boom has retired?

If so, good luck in your future endeavours.

Stubbs at HI/O is tweeting that Blake Geoffrion is in fact retiring due to his skull fracture. Smart move, health should always come first. Good luck in future endeavors.

Don't look now but the leaf are sinking towards the 9 spot. Doubt is starting to creep into the heads of the mediots. Another 2 or 3 losses in a row should really amp up the angst. -Rubs hands in glee-

I like this new Kate, very pretty girl, not overly busty and a really nice tush.

    2. I agree with all of my fellow Maritimer's points.
      Also, any word on Diaz?

I wouldn't mind Jagr as a rental but I wouldn't give up a draft pick for him, maybe a 6th or 7th. If they did get him to play with PleXXX, what do they do with Giant? If that was an eklund rumour forget it anyway.

  9. The pic of Nilan looks way too much like Terry Fox.

  10. The leaf assume the postion,

As much as I would enjoy meeting them in the playoffs the humiliation of missing another year is better.

    2. Interesting, rumour is Bishop is being shopped.

      Delete
    3. Sens won't just pawn him off. Know any team that needs goaltending that isn't always falling to it's knees? Sticking with the religious theme (I know), would OTT rape the leaf for a top prospect? Wood the mediots crucify cherub-faced Nonis?

      Delete
    4. the Maritimer3:49 PM

Ryan Kennedy at THN suggests the Habs grab a goalie in the upcoming draft. I concur. Price is 25, if you draft an 18 year old this year he's probably 5 years away and now Price is 30, so yeah, if Zach Fucale is available take him. If not him, there are other good prospects available, I trust Timmins to sniff one out.

      Delete
    5. Agree the M. but do you trust Steve to sniff one out?

      Delete
    6. the Maritimer4:56 PM

I think Steve could sniff something.....not sure about a goalie.

  15. Well, the new Pope isn't a Canadian so Steve we don't have to rush to confession.

Heard a funny religion line about why the Irish put St. Patrick's Day right in the middle of Lent. That joke wrote itself. Hic.

  16. Hi everyone!
Good luck to you, ti-boom-boom, I think it's the right decision, health first.
Man, did I ever crack up last night when I saw Julie do that, RDS announcer said 'and he said the Habs play comedians, well he sure did'. (something like that, I'm not attempting the actual, my written french grammar is terrible). What a comeback by the Pens.
    Good for Knuckles.

The panel says Letang is a better defenceman than PFK - right now. Can't say as I' d argue with that.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You know what - PFK was the one player I noticed a lot of in that period. His D is solid! He takes his time with the puck in his own end and mostly isn't just firing blindly when clearing the zone. Combine that with his production numbers and we have one of the best D Men in the league. IMHO
