G Y F H G !
I love when me and my hot asx are in SF. And on Thursday no less!
ReplyDeleteBlame the bum.
DeleteThe mayor of Toronto has a problem with fake videos on the Internet, time you to step on to the world stage. I might suggest the Upstream Color defence.
DeleteI'm never one to complain about a sexy friday, but isn't it Thursday?
ReplyDeleteBlame the rum.
DeleteI forgive you
DeleteMoeman - enjoy the summer! Thanks for all you do!
ReplyDeleteGreat job, enjoy the long sexy weekend.
ReplyDeleteI watched the second period of fuckfaces/rags, that's 40 minutes of my life wasted. I'll check out Dietz and Thrower tonight on the Memorial Cup game.
Great SF, thanks Moe.
ReplyDeleteIt is difficult to accept a first round loss, but the Habs really have a team to build upon. They came a long way from last year, baby and MB is a great GM.
The Halifax Mooseheads play their first Memorial Cup game tomorrow against the Portland Winterhawks. I will be watching and feeling bad for MacKinnon and Drouin who will likely end up being drafted by Tampa and Florida. Bleh. But in the meantime, Go Moose Go!
Everloving Moeman postitive! Have a great summer FHF.
ReplyDeleteI do not know what to make us this? Its may be a nice try, but even for an unsubstantiated animation its still way below the bar one must cross to be an honorary FHF.
ReplyDeleteWho amongst us hasn't tried a little crack at one point or another?
Delete/ looks around with shifty eyes
I never tried Coke, Crack or Horse. Given my personality the only smart choices I have ever made.
DeleteThere's only one kind of crack I like.......
DeleteQuite disappointed MT2.0 didn't get an Adams nomination. He totally deserved one.
ReplyDeleteSame goes for Vodkov, the guy with MS better win or I am going to rant.
DeleteRelive some good schadenfreude here: http://deadspin.com/watch-these-sad-fans-live-through-the-maple-leafs-crus-508223922
ReplyDeleteWe can never have enough leaf schadenfreude.
DeleteNice find 29. Trudat the M.
DeleteLeafenfreude?

http://mobile.slate.com/blogs/the_vault/2013/05/14/star_trek_pages_from_the_writers_guide_for_the_original_series.html
The Star Trek stuff is so cool. And I will now STFU about I am about Upstream Color, but in many ways seeing it in 2013 is as revolutionary as seeing Star Trek in 65. The difference being is that nowdays everyone expects the Spanish Inquisition.
DeleteDo not read the spoilers below the u tube before seeing the movie. And for fucks sake make a comment after you have had your world made a little brighter by something that was only transmitted by your optic nerve.
DeleteI will not see the movie this week, maybe the next, but there is a SF Star Trek that has my viewing interest boiling. The ironic thing is I can spend $100 to go to the movies, but a Star Trek SF is priceless. No I am not talking about no TFS reference. But that brings a whole new school of thought to the process. If TFS was a Star Trek character who would he be? DGMB total Spock. Scotty is Gorgus. Sulu I got to go with Kid G. Bones is Cheese.
DeleteCheckov is (Y). Kirk is big TiTs.
I am going to do something I have not done since 1975. I am going to watch the same movie I basically just saw. Last time it was Dog Day Afternoon, and the second time was a disaster.
ReplyDeletesecond time around not as great as the first, and no closer to a conclusion.
DeleteMorning Folks. Great SF moe. You know if Burgervan can't magically trade up to #2 or 3 at the draft (hey, maybe TB needs a Jesus Price to go along with their Bishop - Habs could take Cedrick back again...), then TB should offer #3+ to Florida for Huberdeau. FLA could get Nate and Drouin.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, Dietz looked good in the little bit I saw of the game last night.
Think I'll wait a week or to for StarTrek. mmmmm Uhura.
I don't think MB is going to go after any high picks, I could see cashing in a second or third with their first to move up into the top 15, maybe. I'm thinking the Habs will have a fairly high pick in 2014. We are stuck with Price for the time being, and I mean "we" as strictly fans. I never did get to see the Memorial Cup game last night, I heard Dietz was OK but Dalton Thrower was on for all three Knights goals.
DeleteI am going to Star Trek tonight with the family and will set the PVR for the Mooseheads game to watch when I get home. Now, off to do some long overdue yard work.
Went to a buddy's bachelor party last night at some cottage in the countryside. Didn't know any of the other guys there, but about 10/16 of them were leaf fans. Oh jesus the excuses. Quotes of note:
ReplyDelete"I don't watch any other games, it's a waste of time. Only the Leafs matter!"
"I'd take Reimer over Price no questions asked." (everyone agreed)
"You guys (Habs) embarrassed yourselves more than we did!"
Me: "I don't like how the CBC favours the Leafs."
Leaf fan: "Why wouldn't they? It's their network."
Me: "It's the national network."
LF: "Exactly."
Me:"And there are 7 teams in Canada."
LF: "So?"
"Bob Cole is the greatest hockey play by play guy ever, top 5 in any sport."
Then one (or more) of them stole the money I won from them in poker right the fuck out of my wallet while I took a piss (we're talking triple digits here). Couldn't even drink that away since someone drank all my vodka during the game (I stick to beer while gambling). Classy guys.
Upsteam Color experience
DeleteWow Moe,it*s like you found a cartoon of my life!!(when I am mad I think I look like him too)When I lost the transplant and I was back to dialysis,I seriously wondered why I was going on with my life. But I am SUCH a huge Habs fan,I wanted to see my beloved team win it all just once more in my lifetime.First of all,Houle(Forestt Gump as I called him) was G.M.,so I thought oh great a loooooong life for me.Now,oh oh ,we have a competent guy in DGMB that a new philosophy is in order. So maybe a run of SIX lord stanleys is in order eh?GYMFHG!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGo You Fucking Swiss Go!
ReplyDeleteGalchy and his fancy mitts scores TWICE in the shootout for the Bronze. CLUTCH.
ReplyDeleteI caught the winning goal. Sweet.
DeleteThe new Star Trek movie is freakin' amazing.
ReplyDeleteHighly recommend.
Some of us have to wait two more weeks. Sad face.
Deletefrom what I read it seems like Ottawa won despite a slew of Buttman calls.
ReplyDeleteGet a tetanus shot PatCHes.
ReplyDeleteR.I.P. Ray Manzarek.
ReplyDelete:(
DeleteRIP, unique sound
DeleteLooks like the Ava-dicks will be grooming the Habs next coach, Saint Patrick 33.
ReplyDeleteGood for St Patrik.
ReplyDeleteGo to Denver. Hallowed ground of Gonzo Journalism and cut your teeth in Le LNH. Come back when our Younglings are ready and bring the emotion and spirit. Then we shall slay.
So say we all.
DeleteGet well (Y);
ReplyDeletehttp://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=423692
Get well!
DeleteI don't understand, however, why it took like a month and a half to get surgery
They had to wait for the swelling in his knee to subside before operating.
Deletethey had to determine if Pretzel Logic was human
DeleteFinally, some pertinent Habs news, two top Swedes, current world champions, btw, signed - Magnus Nygren (D) sounds like a good one. Collberg, another 5-11 winger, we'll see. As we've seen recently you need some neanderthals in your line-up to compete in Buttman's league.
ReplyDeletetwo more smurfs, which means we need two less at least
DeleteCollberg is our shootout specialist ;)
Deletefor a while I was under the influence of the white worm. Then I saw the whole world did not agree, then I was sad, and now I am normal.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to walking down Rue Gary Carter in my old man's former 'hood when I visit again! Classy move, Montreal.
ReplyDeleteDid we win?
ReplyDeleteSorry, I miss doing that. I miss caring about hockey
Alain Vigneault gets the scapegoat treatment. Buh-bye.
ReplyDeletePays the price for Gillis' playing hardball with Lu's suitors. AV's shelf life was probably used up too.
DeleteSrsly Gillis should be the one fired
DeleteI was looking through the Hockey News Draft Preview on the newsstand today, I noticed that 3 players the Habs should be interested in fall right into the range of where they will probably pick. Zac Fucale, Anthony Mantha and Frederick Gauthier all in the 24 to 32 pick range. The latter two are big boys, 6-4 and 6-5 respectively. I hope Timmins gets good reports on them.
ReplyDeletemy guy is Rcheyl or some approximation. Fuck the goalie TFS is going to be all right.
DeletePrice is an average goalie at best. No glove hand and a five hole you could drive an SUV through. The Habs could live with him while Fucale develops in junior and the AHL.
DeleteGood goalies can be found all over the place. Here are the top 20 goalies in the category of wins, the category that captures the most likely #1 goalies, and their draft position:
Delete1. Henrik Lundqvist – 7th round, 205th overall
2. Antti Niemi – undrafted
3. Niklas Backstrom – undrafted
4. Marc-Andrew Fleury – 1st round, 1st overall
5. Evgeni Nabokov – 9th round, 219th overall
6. Braden Holtby – 4th round, 93rd overall
7. Sergei Bobrovsky – undrafted
8. Jimmy Howard – 2nd round, 64th overall
9. Carey Price – 1st round, 5th overall
10. Ondrej Pavelec – 2nd round, 41st overall
11. Corey Crawford – 2nd round, 52nd overall
12. Tuukka Rask – 1st round, 21st overall
13. James Reimer – 4th round, 99th overall
14. Ilya Bryzgalov – 2nd round, 44th overall
15. Jonathan Quick – 3rd round, 72nd overall
16. Ray Emery – 4th round, 99th overall
17. Cory Schneider – 1st round, 26th overall
18. Ryan Miller – 5th round, 138th overall
19. Viktor Fasth – undrafted
20. Jonas Hiller – undrafted
Patrick Roy could smoke crack and become Mayor of Toronto and I would still kiss his ass for eternity. Cause what he did is eternal.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to take a poll, I would say most people have less interest in these playoffs than any time in history. Do not ask me why, it would take way more space than time allows. But its true, ponder that?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I could care less about the NHL or their incompetent biased referees.
DeleteI'll be glad when Daly hands the Cup to whatever American team has been designated as Buttman's annointed one. Looking forward to the draft and free agency.
ReplyDeleteDENVER -- Hall of Fame goalie Patrick Roy is the new head coach and vice president of hockey operations of the Colorado Avalanche.
ReplyDeleteYou beat me to it! Let the grooming begin.
DeleteHoly crap! Brad Richards is a healthy scratch for tonight's Game 4, he has now become Gomez 2.0. Hey MB! If your phone rings and you see Sather's number.....don't answer!
mclame won't be too happy his island girlfriend is getting benched.
Deleteheh, http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/nhl/story/2013/05/23/sp-nhl-ron-maclean-brad-richards-john-tortorella.html
DeleteBrad Richards was/is a damn good player. When Tampa won the Cup in '04, eliminating Montreal along the way he was the MVP of the playoffs. At the end of that season he and Vinnie were both going to be UFA's. People wanted the Habs to go after Vinnie for the obvious reasons, personally I hoped that Tampa would throw the bank at him and the Habs could scoop up Richards. Tampa signed both of them (losing the most important player Khabibulin) and word was that Feaster signed Richards to a big extension because he was scared shitless that Gainey was going after him, which he was. It's all water under the bridge now, but if New York were to buy Brad out, if I was Bergevin and could get him on the cheap I'd look at it. The most likely scenario is Torts gets the boot and Brad gets re-instated.
DeleteWhere's messier's 'leadership' when you need it. Wonder if font had to clear the benching with Sather?
Deletewhat about Alfertson saying we cant come back. Its the truth but not PC.
DeleteGO Avs Go!
DeleteThe fat, bug-eyed walrus is a sore loser.
ReplyDeleteNot yapping as much when the shoe is on the other foot.
His number is up.
DeleteAs most of you know I am a multifaceted character with Upsteam Color. When I am DGMD I am trading PFK to Calgary for there six pick. Why Why Why. Simple PFK is going to want 9 mill next year, and the cap is six point five. You do not build a winning team around 9 mill players unless they can score at will.
ReplyDeleteAs Fat Steve I apologize. I thought you were to stupid to notice and I was wrong.
DeleteWatching Bruins and Rangers. I miss my Habs.
ReplyDeleteIs it okay to hate the Bruins a teensy bit less because of what they did to the leaf? I want them to beat the Rangers too. WTF is wrong with me? But then they can fuck off. Okay so i'm just using them when it suits me. I'm good with that. Carry on.
ReplyDeleteYes. And you are FHFine.
DeleteThanks moe, I was getting worried.
DeleteIf you could transplant Prust's heart into Patches' body you would have a more elegant version of Lucic.
ReplyDeleteSteve probably already knows this - Dylan turns 72 today.
