You can be sure Lego will not fall apart on you

Steve lied to me. Maybe this was this Fat Steve?

Heal quickly young Lego! Best player on the ice before the worst player on the ice sent him that pass. My pool is fucked. Lego out, Diaz should watch from the pressbox, Kings down 2.

But the Habs were fucking awesome before the Price softy...that story's getting old.

    Well, GYMFHG!

I'm not going to sugarcoat this. Every time the opposition winds up for a shot at the blue line I pray that either:

    1. They miss.
    2. Somebody blocks it.

Because TheFuckingSieve either doesn't see it coming or it goes between his legs. Maybe they can't beat Ottawa with Budaj in goal but I sure would feel they had a better chance. Anderson is 10 times better than Price.

On another note, I came to the conclusion last night that "player safety" is a farce in the NHL. OK, Diaz fed Lego a suicide pass (I always told my son to ignore those when he played youth hockey) but really, does the hitter HAVE to take a run at a vulnerable player like that? Gryba knew Eller was set up for exactly that type of hit. You can't ease up just a little so you don't take the guy's head off? The D can turn to follow the pass receiver and still take him off the puck without the kill shot. It's just total bullshit. I'll bet Lego is concussed and done for the playoffs.

Lego is concussed, just like Patches was concussed. By two players who have never been suspended. What does Brylcream say, good hit bad result. I really think we have got to wake up here. Our best guy gets smashed and put in the hospital two years running now and we still think we are playing a game here. This is no game it's a war. Boston Bruins, Ottawa Bruins, same result. We lose the game and our best offensive player.

Toronto Sports Network has Lego receiving a crunching hit and slamming face first into the ice ..... wow.
    Hogtown journalism at it height.
    Fucks. They are all fucks.

  5. I take responsibility, as The Saint points out I set him up, then I changed my Avatar. Oh the humanity. Even though it was not a down and dirty hit, he should get 5 games, thats the only way to stop NASCAR on ice.

    Time to regroup.
    Time to reload.
We had 50 shots on that fucker last nite.
Lets get another 50 tonite only lets put 8 or 9 of them in.
Lets get to the dirty spots. OK Patches? That's your fucking job.
Stop talking about it and do it.
Let's get Lego revenge by showing these Ottawa Bruins how hockey is played.
Lets be studs tonight. I'm going to do my part. Belgian beer, trash the Ottawa Beaners then do Mrs Chester.
    Ya Baybee.
    Go Habs!

  8. Its sicking, the whole Hockey Media has lined up with hockey play, should not even have been a penalty. Its sick how the media can line up and steamroll common sense.

I could have told you that last night. TSN and the rest of the CotU mediots could care less if Eller or Max previously ever played again. They live for this shit. The kill shot. Originated and popularized by Scott Stevens. If the opportunity is there to maim your opponent, take it. You'll make the hi-lite reel. Was Lindros ever the same after that hit? No. How effective was Kostitsyn after he got concussed by Kurt Sauer? Nada. Eller is done. He'll never be the same player. This is Bettman's legacy, train wreck ice capades.

      Fuck this shit.

Sexy Friday is not doing it for me today.

Put some of those Bulldogs players in, maybe they will actually go to the net. Like Gallagher does.

    YOU FUCKING TELL 'EM CHARGER!

""We don't really care about what that bug-eyed fat walrus has to say," Prust told the media." - Brandon Prust

That's fucking awesome. This series just got real interesting. I'm not worried about tonight. Habs will win.

  11. Wow. Eller's injury. Last night's painful loss. McLean's comments. Prust's comments. MT2.0's comments. PatCHes & Gio out. Just wow.

I really hope the Habs take all this emotion and channel it into their game tonight. They have to. GYFHG!!!
