Do the hustle FHFers.

  1. Morning Moeman! Another sterling SF for us! Thanks for always being great at this blogging stuff. During the off season you are a man of few words...but mostly the pictures speak for themselves.

SO I read somewhere that the broons and the Hawks have never met in the Stanley Cup finals. I think that if nothing else good comes out of this season, that is a very cool stat to have created. And ultimately a Hawks win is a win for DGMB, which does bode well for the Habs. One other reason that all 4HFers should get behind a Hawks win is that you won't want a summer of fuckin' leaf fans saying how their team lost to the team that won the cup. It would, in their minds at least, give them some sort of street cred, which must never happen. I am much happier with listening and watching them squirm as they explain away a monumental collapse against a team of fuckin' goons...but that's just me!

    1. ThXXX.

Lots of reasons to like CHI.

      • Bowman influence
      • Montreal-born goalie, who has a really great Français
      • Classy, likeable Captain, who has a really great Français
      • Loud but relatively un-obnoxious fans
      • Great city to visit
      • Yet another original 6 team that would win a another SC since 1967
      • No mike richards
      • DGMB influence
      • MiCHele Obama
      • Hossa
      • broons are a tainted team

Thanks, moe, for all those good reasons. I will probably watch a period or two if those two teams make the final. I will still hit the mute button when leaf apologists and chief cheerleaders mclame and old crotch are on the air.

I'm looking forward to the QMJHL draft tomorrow to see what prospects my Sea Dogs can snag.

  5. Rafael Nadal won an epic semifinal against Novak Djokovic at the French Open to remain the King of Clay -- for another couple of days, at least. Seven-time champion Nadal twice let a lead slip away in the fourth set Friday, then came from behind in the fifth to beat the No. 1-ranked Djokovic 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-7 (3), 9-7.

  6. The Ottawa Senators have traded the rights to veteran defenceman Sergei Gonchar to the Dallas Stars in exchange for a conditional sixth round draft pick in 2013.

  8. In the history of draft picks at 25 only Ott stands out. So I say trade it up or trade it down for a second or a third, cause if you have a multiuniverse perspective like mine, thats where you find the gold.

  9. Into every life must creep, a bit of the old rock the crip and hope someone cries out for a new peek.
    Death of Democracy

In the USA getting nearly killed by a well insured person but surveying is akin to winning a lottery. I would love to see a chart plotting the amount of hurt compared to the hurt of the pervious life in dollars. I suspect the stats would skew left. The rewards would skew right. Are our politicians today better or worse than those that preceded them? What a tough question. The history we all agree upon paints all those that were never imprisoned as flawed diamonds. I suspect this was to some extent true. The cultural morality of the past was grounded in a three pillared stool. First the fear of God, second the fear of embarrassment, and third the fear of failure. In the 21st centenary none of those constraints is in vogue. So what does a politician fear? Basically nothing.

We live in an era where those who can do. They can write the rules and make like we all would if we had a method to bend the rules. So this is democracy's naughty bits. This is a solution but to explain it to the electorate reminds me of idiots. First past the post was a comprise with a King who thought he should rule every enterprise. Now half a millennium later we still wander about on the field he prepared for traitors. So wake up Zombies, and see whats dead, we need a new democracy or our brains will be fed.

    1. I am not back, I am restrained by web uncertainty. No where there did I mention that sometimes a GM can make another team a Titian, without as it is obvious his intention.

There is a simpler version of what you said. I learned this in an old paperback novel of comic strips called the Wizard of Id.

Remember the Golden Rule: He who has the gold makes the rules.

Well, so much for the mighty Penguins. I wonder if Iginla is regretting his choice in retrospect? I didn't watch the game, just one of tsn's post game videos, saw the glove save the shaved ape made on Malkin. It reminded me of Ryder's save on somebody during the Habs series in 2011. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. We may have to eat some crow regarding dissing Mr. Fried Man's assessment of the B's being the beasts of the east.

Now the question is who is Moey going to use to beat the broons and then callously discard after?

    1. Would have much preferred the Kings but Hawks it is. *sigh*. I couldn't stomach another Bruin's cup. *shudder*. I thnk by backing them to beat the leaf gave them super human powers. Hockey Gods are paying Hab fans back.

Blackhawks have a better chance of beating broons. I might actually watch some of this.

The mighty Penguins with Crosby, Malkin, Neal, Iginla, Morrow, Letang - can only score two goals against Tuuka Rask. leaf management and to a lesser extent Ottawa's sure did a great job of building this broons team. Jacobs, Bettman and Campbell must be so pleased.

  13. Saying what you think on line or by cell phone is obviously something subject to subversion. So lets talk about candy and GMO foods and coal being not quite as green as Tar Sands. Thats what is going down. They will track you down. WOW
