No worries the leaf always wins the first game of the season. It's mandated by the cbc and the refs association. Those ceremonies are always bad karma and pretty much guarantee a loss for the home team.
Send Desharnais to Hamilton. Lego is No. 1, there is no more doubt. Call up Tokarski. Finally, I never want to see another fucking torch passed around the ice. Does nothing but bring bad luck.
The reffing tonight reminds me why I stopped watching the NHL for over a season. Completely transparent, yet no one will talk about it. I love my Habs, but the NHL can suck my colon.
I'm not blaming the loss on the reffing, it's just so frustrating to watch. It's stupid to think before every game, "Who will the refs favour today?" and that's what the NHL has become.
I reiterate: It's way past time to put that damn torch ceremony away. The modern day Montreal Canadiens are so far removed from the glory days of the 50's, 60's and 70's it's not even funny. This bunch couldn't carry those past team's jock straps. Please, for the love of God, just come out, line up on the blue line and be introduced. Stop embarrassing yourselves, as a team and an organization. Thank you.
I say reserve it for the playoffs. But not the ceremony. I just love it when the kids skate around with the flames and then light the ice on fire. FUCK YEAH.
It was only one game. Some positives: 1. The Eller line looks good. They may end up giving Lego Pacioretty and Briere to get production from them. 2. Subban is a star and Tinordi is a top 4 D in the making. 3. Galchenyuk and Gallagher look ready to carry on with decent production.
The negatives: 1. Desharnais is a liability, he will hold back his wingers. Swallow that contract and put him on a bus to Hamilton. He's an excellent AHL player. 2. Markov has to be cautious at the blue line, he cannot recover to get back anymore. 3. Price won't have to worry about going to Sochi.
4. Stop being goaded into stupid penalties. The leaf set the tone with the fighting bullshit. 5. Fuck off leaf fan; http://blogs.canoe.ca/slam/hockey/lowlife-leafs-fans-mock-parros-injury/
Good point re: penalties. Carlyle has them well coached to play that style, yap, stick, cheapshot. Works every time. Low life leaf fans = low life senaturd fans, they did the same thing when Lego got blindsided. That fucking Sun is a rag I wouldn't wipe my ass with.
Boone says the same thing and I agree. It's only a matter of time before someone dies and a massive lawsuit is coming a la the NFL retirees. It doesn't serve much purpose anymore. Should be automatic expulsion if you fight.
Things I learned (again) from leaf fans today: 1) The leaf dominated, it was apparently an embarrassment for the Habs. AKA: one lucky bounce on a 2on1 for the leaf and a post in the final minute for the Habs = domination.
2) The leaf have won 5 straight against the Habs in opening games, and thus the Habs will finish last and the leaf will win the Cup. You know, like the last 4 years.
3) On TSN's page, leafheads accusing Hab fans of using laser pointers on leaf players (because this is either 1995 or the finale of Breaking Bad). No proof, no one in the media said such a thing. But TSN printed the comments. I (and I'm sure others) simply asked in the comments "What proof do you have?" Currently 0/7 on my all time on my submitted comments at TSN. Honestly, that was my only sentence and they wouldn't print it.
4) Habs were out-muscled and out-hit and out-punched. Because that's the only thing that matters to leaf fans. Oh, it's because our fighter got knocked out. No context, no sympathy, no reason. Not saying all leaf fans (some had sympathy, but forget reason or context).
5) The Cup Parade will be on Sunday down Yonge Street at 5PM, as usual.
PornstaCHe is such a pussy he should have shook it off Dr. Recchi Personally I do not think he should play again. Supposedly he is a smart guy, so retire while some marbles are still there.
On the PP you are never where you should be, you cannot win a faceoff if your life depended on it, you have the body of an 8 year old boy, the muscle mass of a jelly fish and actually bring down the play of our top line.
I swear that my 3 year old son would go into the corner of the ice with you and would come out with the puck. I am fed up of the excuse that small players cannot make it in the NHL yet somehow you seem to add fuel to that fire every game.
Here is my advice to you, learn to stay on your feet, learn to battle for a puck, learnt o take a faceoff draw and actually win it because whatever it is that you do, it ain’t working.
I still cannot fathom how this guy somehow led the team in PP minutes among forward last night. Can somebody please explain this to me
So much disgusting sickfuckery from the CotU after last night's game. This might take the cake (its Cox);
"In his 211th professional fight, Montreal’s George Parros went down for the count on Tuesday night, missing Maple Leafs enforcer Colton Orr with a wild haymaker and awkwardly hurling himself face-first into the ice as the bloodthirsty Bell Centre crowd, so thrilled with its new goon, roared."
I have also read these accusations from Toronto about how Montreal has gooned up. Coming from the leaf? Really? In any event, that's not even how it happened.
I learned a long time ago to not read any cotu rags after a leaf victory, so much bullshit you'd need an excavator to move it. Whenever they beat Montreal you'd think they won the Cup, well, I guess that's the equivalent for those small minded fuckers. They are desperate for any kind of victory.
Has anyone mentioned how stupid the schedule is for the Habs? They have one game in the next 7 days, but then 3/4 while on the road. They don't play within their division again till Nov 7th, and only twice more by Nov 26th. And it's great the Wings are in the division and everything, but we don't even play them till Jan 24th! I think the Habs go down to Florida approximately 2434 times by that point.
Heh. Maybe Roy doesn't (yet) fit behind the Habs benCH but a huge fuck off to the collective COTU media for shitting all over him. These are the same sick fucks that suck don cherry's putrile puss-laden pud on a regular basis and all of a sudden Roy is persona non grata in their lame fucking eyes? Have these shitstains yipped about carly's goon tactics for almost two years? No? Fuck off.
The GTA is it's own little self centered universe. Remember, these media fucks live off the m$le teat and dare not question the antics of nonis and belinda. The fans are mouth breathing knuckle draggers.
Price is getting out played by an AHLer.
ReplyDeleteits same old TFS, brilliant followed by not so much
DeleteAgreed, he's made some great saves this game, then those 2 goals. Not soft goals exactly, but ones an "elite" goalie should stop.
DeletePj Stock says Eller had a bad preseason so his two points tonight mean nothing.
ReplyDelete3 goals = 5-hole, high glove side, high blocker side. All that's left is low stick side and low glove side. 20 minutes left should be doable.
ReplyDeleteWhat I learned from the 2nd intermission: Dr Who is the new coach of the Oilers & his wife is really hot.
ReplyDeleteJesse has a hot wife and she finally got to see him again on Sunday
DeleteBe well StaCHe.
ReplyDeletepornstaCHe not looking so good. Longfellow cleaned that punks clock
ReplyDeleteIf this is a sign of how the season is going to go, I'm out.
ReplyDeleteYa hate to see that. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteIm back to say In sick. ugh
ReplyDeleteDon't for a second think any of these cockroaches give a shit about this kind of shit. They live for it and promote it.
ReplyDeleteLego is having flashbacks
ReplyDeleteWhy is it this crap always happens to the Habs? Reminds me of Lego last spring.
ReplyDeleteOK boys beat them on the ice now
ReplyDeleteNot how the staCHe imagined his first game with the Habs ending. Get well.
ReplyDeleteHNIC did their best to only talk about the leaf during that, only bringing up the Habs in order to blame PFK for the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteBreaking bad.
ReplyDeleteSigh.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the 2013-4 Habs.
ReplyDeleteMarkov has been a complete liability this game. Briere is pretty much invisible.
ReplyDeleteBriere's playing?
DeleteNo, he just can't skate when he screws up. Who's Briere?
DeleteMB's not feeling so good about his UFA signings right now. Me neither. Gonna be a long season.
ReplyDeleteNo worries the leaf always wins the first game of the season. It's mandated by the cbc and the refs association. Those ceremonies are always bad karma and pretty much guarantee a loss for the home team.
ReplyDeleteHabs don't look interested. Not sure why I still am.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm not Price's biggest fan, but c'mon make a big save once in a while. Reimer looks like Eddie Belfour for fuck's sake.
ReplyDelete+1
DeleteI try, I really try to believe in the guy. But it never seems like he makes those saves.
Betcha the defence takes most of the blame for this mess. Your goalie is supposed to bail you out when you fuck up. Price can't do it.
ReplyDelete1st period: (what I thought was going to be) 2013-14 season. Great strong fast paced physical start.
ReplyDelete2nd period: 2012-13 season. Strong offence whose defence and goalie never let them get away with a mistake.
3rd period: 2011-12 season. I don't care. This CH on my chest means nothing to me. Where's my pay cheque?
Got to play more than an energetic first period.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I do love how the refs have taken a "let them play" attitude after giving the leaf 6 PPs in the first 35 minutes.
ReplyDeleteYuck.
ReplyDeleteGood good, 6 guys on the ice for the leaf, they get the PP.
ReplyDeleteAnd CBC makes excuses for it and quickly moves on. I have a feeling if it was the other way around my ears would be bleeding from the screaming.
DeleteLEGO!
ReplyDeleteLEGO!!!
ReplyDeleteLEGO going for the RiCHard
ReplyDeleteLEGO!
ReplyDeleteWow, my feed is way behind apparently.
Fucking refs, fuck me
ReplyDeleteCompletely undeserved 'win' but the Habs did themselves in.
ReplyDeleteCrap.
ReplyDeleteIf the other 3 lines had showed up it would have been a whale of a game
ReplyDeleteGo PHlyers.
ReplyDeleteSend Desharnais to Hamilton. Lego is No. 1, there is no more doubt. Call up Tokarski. Finally, I never want to see another fucking torch passed around the ice. Does nothing but bring bad luck.
ReplyDeleteI give TFS twenty games and if he has not got himself square, Calgary is calling.
DeleteCan't win many games by only playing the 1st period and the last 2 minutes of the 3rd.
ReplyDeleteThe reffing tonight reminds me why I stopped watching the NHL for over a season. Completely transparent, yet no one will talk about it. I love my Habs, but the NHL can suck my colon.

ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a long season, isn't it?

Oh my GOD, two D’s.
Simply put, what the hell is wrong with you?

It's the same thing as Breeze By. He has some pictures of somebody.
