Hey moe, from the previous thread - can't do the super late nights anymore, takes about two days to recover - I'll get up early and finish watching with no peaking at the score on the internet. Then I'll catch up on the cockroach stomping here afterwards. Go get'em!

    1. I've no info. Something about his son being not well. All the best to the Gionta family.

  5. How do the mouthbreathing cocksuckers at hnic describe Ryan Smith's goal vs. their leaf? "Smith scored his first goal versus Montreal". No more description. Verbatim. Sick fucks.

The GTA aka leaf nation eats that shit with relish. If the Jackal pulled that move (Hertl) on Price, cherry and mclame would have been stroking their cocks---to sort of quote Joe Thornton.

  10. The sick fuck cockroaches sound really desperate. I suggested they'd put the hate on for at least two teams. Might be three.

  13. They're not playing good hockey but they're winning. Bodes well for the second half of the season. Yup, they're right on track.

  23. Glad they're up 1-0 'cause they do not look sharp. Price has been by far the best Hab on the ice so far.

  24. Someone on CBC said earlier that Briere doesn't even have a shot on net yet this year. It doesn't surprise me, it just....ugh.

  27. Good, exciting game. Price was very sharp, kept them in it for the first half until they broke it open. Very satisfied. On to the Peg!

Watched the first period but had the PVR set and like Moey, sat down this morning with my coffee and watched the rest of the game. First, props to Carey Price for playing the best game I've seen in a long time. He was square to the puck all night and could see nearly every long bomb from the point which, last year, was his nemesis. He had little to do in the third period but was responsible for getting them there with a lead, albeit a flukey one. Still, job well done.

The fourth line with BlanCHe, MOEnmaN and youngster Bournival was outstanding. gCHuk and KidG were kept off the score sheet but were a factor in keeping the Canucks thinking defence....a lot. Best game I've watched in a while. Thanks guys.

About the leaf/Oiler game - the Oil Cans need to find a goalie, they should have won that game for a joke. leaf defence sucks, they won't score six every night, it'll all balance out.

Funny how the Toronto media view themselves as the caretakers of the game. I'll bet my last dollar that if it was Kadri who did what Hertl did, there wouldn't be a peep about "disrespecting" the game. They would be elevating Kadri to Hall of Fame status and cherry would have brought him in to the studio for a kiss. Two faced fuckers.

  30. We passed the test or more accurately TFS gave us all the answers. Hated that goal by Lego cause it was not the Broons or leaf he scored it on. Why do even the Vancouver play by play guys hate Montreal. All night it was the great Sindins and Beskia. Well done boys, if TFS can keep that forum plan the parade .DDD was almost alright, but Danny lite beer is useless. Tell me Lebrow would not be better.

  31. Did we win?

I'm spending the long weekend drunk with my family. Saw the highlights, listened to some of the game on the radio from the cottage. The radio! If TFS plays like that from here on in I will be happy. And loved that Eller goal.

Did you know thew Laffs lead the Eastern conference? kill me

    1. ack ack, after sat night TFS should make his Sofia reservatins

      Delete
    2. I am going to wade into the Sofia debate. TFS needs to go there like the Habs need another 5 foot centreman. Sorry but what exactly is the upside to going there and not winning - which is what wil happen given the amount of prep time they get and just my general gut feeling. Take the break and come back rested as the Habs drive to the playoffs

    3. Winning the Stanley Cup is precious, but winning the gold especially beating the mericans priceless.

    4. I don't care about the Olympics. Go Team Norway.

      Delete
    5. I think that if you ask any NHL player to rank importance of winning the Stanley Cup against winning the Olympic Gold Medal, the Stanley Cup comes first every time. After the meltdown that TFS had at the end of last season, he needs to focus on what is really important. He doesn't need to fly to Sochi, play on big ice surfaces, have a load of Europeans crashing the net and risking potential injury. A winning goalie gets into a rhythm and develops the habits of a winner by winning night in and night out. TFS has some of those habits but an Olympic jaunt in the middle of the season is not what he needs this year. Give it to Fat Marty or Lou, or someone else well past their prime...or give it the leaf vezina trophy winner...

Just curious - anybody know what the RDS guys have to say about Griffe or "L'Homme Invisible"? Fucking useless twat. Dear Mr Bergevin, please don't let the language police influence your future decisions about this team. I have great faith that you have more understanding of the needs of your team than they. TS

    1. RDS said "it's still early".

They've been saying it every game so far...

Here's a good one: Apparently Briere will be on the fourth line with Moen and Bournival even though White played great in Vancouver AND Winnipeg is like a homecoming for him. Such bullshit. Sit that 4 million piece of useless crap in the press box like the Perds did with JP Dumont and be done with it. And Desharnais still gets the same third line. I thought for sure he'd wake up in Vancouver because he played well against them in the past. Nope. The body's cold.

But back to Briere. It's so useless to have him on the 4th line. He knows it too. IF he can pass the puck to get Bournival a goal, it might be worth it but otherwise it's just useless to have him there. His regression is worse than I thought it would be...

I would have put Briere between Prust and Bourque and parked DDD up in the hot dog suite. Briere did OK with Hartnell riding shotgun, Prust could help him. What have they got to lose?

      Delete
    3. Seems DDD has photos of Therrien or something. Either way I'd park both their arses in the pressbox. In fact, they can probably share a seat.

The Russians will be gunning big time for that gold medal on their home turf. Ovie, Malkin et al will be putting on a clinic. They flopped big time in Vancouver and will want to make amends. The Canadians will be fortunate to medal no matter who is in net. Just my gut feeling.

If the Habs win in the 'Peg tomorrow night I will be eating some serious crow. I figured they would come home 0-4. What do I know? Nuthin'.
