All this blabber by Buttman about this great deal and all the different platforms is Buttspeak for no more free broadcast internets hockey for you streamers out there. Everybody will bow down and pay the Buttman. The only happy thing is loosing The Toronto Sports Network and all the mouthpieces that go with it. The few good ones will land on their feet. We shall see about our glorious Habs broadcasts. We must keep The Houde. He is important. On the flip side everybody could take this opportunity to loose The National Embarrassment Mike BilgeBury and of course our favorite PJ Stork. Bottom line is I don't trust Pierre-Marc or Hogtown. Go Habs
If there is to be choice, as indicated in this smelly bettman deal, the leaf will be on one of many channels, likely the top-billed one but who fucking cares, just give me my Habs game in HD. Also, I expect snet's bias to be thick.
My daughter’s latest product goes live. http://www.scoop.it/t/super-4 Most of the 'girlie' characters in the Playmo stuff is her work. Its on French TV in France.
They're so adorable. Great work, kudos. Mine graduated McGill in May and took a teaching gig in Mistissini - man it's so quite here that I have to learn to speak more quietly to myself.
Oh, oh; "The number of former NHL players involved a class-action concussion lawsuit against the league is growing at a rapid rate. Within 48 hours of the suit being filed in a Washington federal court, the original group of 10 plaintiffs had inflated to more than 200, according to one of the lawyers working on the case."
So is this 190 more players I've never heard of? Phone rings: Bobby - "Hey Jimmy, it's me Bobby - we played 2 games in the NHL back in the 80's together. The league just cashed in on a $5.2billion dollars. We should hop onto that concussion lawsuit bandwagon." Jimmy - "What? Who is this? Are you my mommy?" Bobby - "Perfect, i'll pick you up at 8."
Not sure if anyone watched l'Antichambre last night but they had Odgic, Laraque and Roberge. Odgic would certainly be a candidate. Boy did he ever givet Francois, Gagnon a few shots.
Won't see the game tonight, got cards to play and money to lose. I always fear the lesser teams, especially after beating the higher ranked ones. But I think it'll be another Victory. GYMFHG!!!
Also, Toasted Head Cab with salmon and lobster mousseline with those incredible brown rice and sweet potato crackers. http://brands.nabisco.com/Triscuit/
So, with this bettmanesque money firstandonlydeal, it will be fun to see if tsn has any integrity, at all, and stop sucking up to leaf fans. snet is even more biased (although lunkheads talking to lunkheads, well you know) but tsn's supposed professionalism should make them take the high road. Fucking weird that the Habs are part of whats left of their regional coverage. snet doesn't have a single employee that even knows where Montreal is and their 4 year deal with the cockroaches is hilarious and is simply 48 months of euthanasia.
Like others, I'm a little worried about a let down here after last week and a few days off. But nonetheless, GYFHG! Won't be able to watch the game, but I'll check in here and there.
Sabres were somewhat a pain in the ass for our Habs last season. Didn't refs give PK a delay of game when the puck went over the glass and he never touched it...and a high stick when he never touched the opponent?
First of a few to come, a moeman mediot prediction: that little fucking tsn twerp mark 'the leaf is my' masters, will be a snet leaf-sucking twerp. What a disgusting little ml$e mouthpiece.
Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go!!! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go!!!
I get a 10 minute break every 40 minutes (not really "break", but between classes). I swear, no matter when the game starts, pre or post daylight savings, intermission always falls neatly on those breaks. At least I got to see that dirty goal and thuggery by the Sabers. Hope no one gets hurt tonight.
Watch the game, tell the students its learning moment about American Imperialism destroying something that was once beautiful. It the Canadian equivalent of finding a tank in the rice field and a GI in your daughters bedroom.
Wish I was here during the game but Mr. M seems to want my company every night even if it means watching hockey. Must be my girlish charm. Okay Pens, let's go!!!!
Props to Douglas Murray for defending his Captain against Frankenstein's monster aka John Scott. Could ahve used Parros against that nitwit.
I was flipping back and forth between TSN-Habs and the main channel....my God, the leaf stench will linger there for years. Her's some of the comments I can recall: Best "outside" goalie for Sochi - Reimer/Bernier, wtf after that Columbus game and tonight Bernier can't hold a 3 goal lead, funny Price and the Habs did just fine last Saturday. Selke trophy to Jay McClement...who has 0 goals so far, does anybody even know who the fuck he is? It wasn't the Jackals fault he interfered with the Pitt goalie behind the net...who else' fault would it be?
I fear with this Rogers deal (who own 37.5% of ml$e) the leaf blowing, sucking, fellating will only increase. Like moe said, I don't give a fuck as long as I can watch the Habs on Saturday night on an English channel with a few Habs friendly commentators. They could do worse than Dave Randorf and Dave Reid who always give the Habs a fair shake.
Had to run into another room, my PVR took over for 2 recordings. Pens going to OT I hope that take it, the laffs don't even deserve 1 fucking point even the tv guys said it. ok, they said neither did.
Kudos to Rick Dudley for staying with the Habs...wants to bring a championship to a great organization. Well said Rick. You did the right thing abandoning that self pretentious, arrogant fucking shit outfit in Hogtown.
I'm actually in New Jersey / Philly celebrating Thanksgivukkah. Much food and family and fun. And ESPN, Fox Sports, and NBCSports and MSG Network and 10 other sports channels. Heaven! Of course, none of them know hockey exists unless it's the Rangers or Devils, but still.
Well, you guys are now officially blocked at my work. It's an ongoing thing, almost everything is blocked (my pirated streams aren't....yet). About the Habs, just want to say Yay!
Now about the leaf. Listen to them (incl. their coach) and their fans, the Pens didn't deserve this win. No, Gino's goal should have counted (I actually....gulp...agree) and the refs were in the Pens' pocket. No, the team that couldn't even fucking get a shot in the last 25+ minutes of the hockey game, the team that got 2 fluky goals in against terrible goalies, the team that was outshot 2-1, should have won. I've said it before, when your team always gets the calls and the breaks its very hard to take it when they go the other way. Leaf fans really don't think being outshot 2-1 every single game is an issue. They think their two back-ups will get them through it.
Speaking of which, in the CotU it should be Bernier/Reimer starting in Sochi. But that won't happen because there is a strong anti-Toronto bias in the league. Seriously. This is the party line out of T-dot. The same reason why Kessel was picked last at the All Star game a couple of years ago. Because everyone hates the Leafs. I was talking to a leaf friend and he said after the game against the Caps there was no logical reason not to bring Reimer to Sochi. I pointed out it was one game. He said it didn't matter, one game is enough. So I said the game against the BJs should keep him home then. No, no. That was just one game! Leaf fan logic. I mentioned Price. Oh no, he hasn't proven himself yet. No, but a guy with less than 100 NHL games and no playoff wins has? Yes, apparently. Because he brought the leaf to G7 against the eventual Cup winners. Price has done that several times, but has also won some series. And the WJHC. And has better stats this year alone. No, I'm biased because I'm a Habs fan. Bernier and Reimer should be in Sochi.
Leaf fans only know the leaf. They don't know hockey. It's like talking to a 5 year old about cats about feline behaviour. Yeah, they know their cat, but they don't know cats.
If the Penguins had a goalie at all, or if even Hedberg was healthy, the fucking leaf would have been annihilated last night. Fleury sucks, always has always will. The fucking leaf horseshoe up the ass is starting to slip out, they will start sliding down the standings soon. The hand wringing at tsn, snet and hnic will ramp up shortly.
Your leaf friend has drank the blue and white koolaid, logic has no place in the CotU.
So sometimes an event crosses al normal boundaries. It may not be something you care anything about, but it still hits you as a consumer. This is such an event , and one to carefully at least be sexy
Hockey Central @ Noon, Mallard, MacLean and Kypreos lamenting how bad their leaf was last night. Heh, heh, get used to it leaf lovers and you can enjoy them for the next 12 years up close and personal.
Todd with The View From Nebraska wants us all to write in and save The National Embarrassment. Amazing to see how quickly one can flip flop. Wow. Go Habs
Read this at the NP: "Cherry has been with Hockey Night in Canada since 1981." There's your problem right there. The old bigot has been around way too long. Will the bean counters at snet see that? Like they fucking care.
It bears repeating and I've said it many times, leaf fans aren't hockey fans, they're leaf fans, the worst. cherry, cockroaches, snet et al are all the same, they're leaf fans.
"The way he's playing right now, Subban is making a great case for the Olympic team," Canadiens head coach Michel Therrien told reporters at the team's practice in Washington on Thursday. "We want him to go there."
Toronto Maple Leafs coach Randy Carlyle was blunt about the stress that comes from a game like the one played Wednesday night. "I don't sleep well - I get stress headaches," he told reporters. "I get a lot of things that you guys probably never experienced."
Yes, you moron, you have the hardest job in the world. Oh, I work with children every day and barely get paid enough to cover my student loan and meals, but poor you. You truly are the greatest martyr of them all.

Methinks the cockroaches quietly pushed Mike BilgeBury aside.
Deletesent still has so much crud to scrape off. Starting at home.
Go Pens!
Don't forget Rogers also owns part of MLSE and I'm hoping they don't stuff the laffs down our throats a la TSN.
