  8. Talk about sick fucks, the Toronto Star sees Stamkos go down yesterday and instead of writing about him, the Bolts or Team Canada in general, they write about how this means Lupul will have a good chance at making the team. It's even more stupid because there is such a zero chance of that loser making the team that it almost goes over into negative numbers. But of course they have to say Reimer has a great chance, too. You know, the guy who has never played a whole season in the NHL, has never won a playoff series and isn't even the starting goaltender on his mediocre team (behind another nobody). No, you're right COtU. It's all about you.

  10. Well I guess we can assume corruption hasn't hit Coderre or else he would have been tweeting from inside the Bell Centre i/o Cage aux Sports.

  11. So much for that easy ride without Stamkos (and they played in Boston last night).

  13. That Bishop
is a puck molester. I can not believe Ottawa traded him for a bag of pucks

    1. I remember a game with the Habs while with Ottawa where he stopped something like 50 shots.

      Delete
    2. Why not? They have Anderson, the best goalie all time. I mean, he did have an ok GAA in 23 games last year and was thus robbed of the Vezina. You can just see him carry on that domination this yea.....Oh, wait.

  15. Caught a break on that no goal. But that last view showed it was the right call I think. Bring on the foolish accusations of preferential treatment for the Habs by the leaflovers.

  24. Confession: I actually came here to type, "Oh, good, Briere is out with 4 minutes left..." /sarcasm. I'm glad he proved me wrong, and I'm big enough to admit it. Now do it again, you overpaid has been.

  28. Wow, they're really trying to make up for that no goal. Sick fuck league.

  29. Wow. Larry what were you thinking?

  30. MT2.0 should be losing his mind.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Really bad time for a penality.

    1. It was blatant. Hang on though for the loser point at least!

  32. You know what's pissing me off more than these ridiculous calls? Seeing MT2.0 have absolutely no emotion about it. He should be throwing sticks onto the ice at this point.

  33. CA-REY! CA-REY! CA-REY!

    ReplyDelete
  34. That was some impressive passing

    ReplyDelete
  35. This Price guy. What a hack.

    ReplyDelete
  36. No matter what happens in the SO, I feel like this is a turning point game. Price is playing absolutely amazing, coming back from 1 down against a hot goalie, putting up with ridiculous penalties for the last 3 minutes of reg, and half of OT. Character, motherfuckers.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Character builder indeed. But I think all those penalties had to be called. All blatant and impossible to miss. Great kills.

  38. I have ZERO confidence in the shootout.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Looks like TFS is looking at Bishop in that strange sprawl and thinking WTF you doing

    ReplyDelete
  40. Damn it. Still, a point.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Too bad, If we didnt have to kill so much penalties I am sure we would have had it.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I haven't seen all teams obviously, but we must have one of, if not THE weakest shootout team in the league. Always look the same, with little effort and no creativity. Could be Mt2.0 has something to do with that?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Their shoot out does not look strong at all. Out of the 6 shots they've taken on it, they haven't even come close.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yzerman just drew a circle around Price's name with an arrow to the top of the list.

Sounds like Chokula was coaching last night, he must have left his notebook behind for MT2.0. Give up tons of shots and hope your goalie bails you out. Yep, sounds like a plan.

  56. Kadri is one dirty fuck. Two cheap dirty head shots in one game, finally gets tossed out (of course TSN is crying about it). Doubt he'll see any suspension from this league. Meanwhile, PK gets booed in every arena, Richards and other raci....I mean players calling him out for not respecting vets and the media demonizing him. Only good news is that superstar Kessel gave up the puck for the tying goal.

    2. 'hold me back' Kadri will not even be looked at for the major on Granlund. I suspect he'll get a token suspension that will be served during their annual golf tourney in April though. Shitahan won't drop the hammer too long since he'll consider they're missing bolland + that other guy. Just like Kessel's slap on the wrist because Clark$son was out for 10 games.

    3. Carslyle should get fined for 'player selection' just like Rolston.

  57. Should be at least 5 for each of those hits. Won't be. Anything less than 7 total is a complete joke. I'm expecting it'll be a token 2 games.

  60. Kadri gets a 3-game slap on the wrist.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. And TSN announces on their front page that Kadri got 3 games for "interference". No, you morons, he got 3 games for a dangerous hit to the head. And then he got away with another dangerous hit to the head. I really feel like George Orwell writes for TSN sometimes.

      Delete
    2. It's getting sickeningly laughable is the league's predictability. Is there a 'one supspendable offence per game' rule that I'm not aware of? And the idiot leaf commentors on TSN comparing this to the Gionta-Reimer play are just plain insane, not to mention those calling this 'typical league bias' against the leafs. It's the CotU mediot effect - they all believe what that bunch have to say. It's fucking scary is what it is.

      Delete
    3. leaf and bruin fans remind me of white old men in the US (aka the Tea Party). They've been favoured so long that when they're forced to face responsibility for their actions, or see someone else get a break for once, they honestly think it's an outrage. They have no clue about fair play. leaf fans know the leaf, that's it. They don't know the NHL, much less hockey in general. They see their leaf get away with crap, it's reinforced by the media there, Don Cherry backs it up, and that's their reality.

In their reality Yzerman is (yet again!) snubbing the leaf by not selecting Bernier and Reimer for Team Canada (the two of them have barely combined to have played a full season in the NHL and one playoff series). They really believe these guys should be a shoe in to start in Sochi and it not happening is a direct insult to Toronto. Kessel being picked last at the all-star game. The CoTU media kept saying it was because the league hates Toronto. I guess that's why they put the Hockey HoF there and also the video review (and the GM meetings), even though the team hasn't been relevant for half a century. I grew up in the area and can say the same about almost every player they've ever had. Kaberle was robbed of the Norris every single year he was in Toronto, apparently. Stajan was the best young player, rivaling Crosby. I'm not exaggerating. And once these guys were gone everyone forgot about them. If the media or fans do mention one of them because he happens to be playing against their one and only (literally) team, it's like they've never heard of him before. I've heard HNIC actually repeatedly mispronounce "Stajan" just a year after they couldn't shut up about him being the best player under 25 in the world.

      Don't even get me started!

  61. The mediots are leaf fans. Anything their team gets that is a negative will get a hard-on reaction from them. They are unprofessional hacks. They have zero journalistic integrity. They don't give a shit about the players, the game, other teams or non-leaf fans. They are sick fucks. tsn's gino stated in his simpleminded/simpleton words, after the kadri suspension, "its time to move on". These fuckers hate the Habs. I get it. The Montreal Canadiens represents Quebec and the FrenCH population, winning, organizational class, true HHoF players, respect for the game and much more and the leaf well they need continuous propping. These morons bury anything that resembles leaf shit. A few years back, Detroit wins the Stanley Cup and within minutes all they could talk about was their cujo. The kick to their face, he left hogtown, for Detroit no less, to win. He didn't. I've lived decades of this sick shit. I have a thick skin. These morons and their mouthbreathing organ monkeys think it affects me (us). Please keep it up fools. I've said it for years and typed it often. leaf fans aren't hockey fans, they're leaf fans, the worst. I will continue to laugh (and point out) these sick fucks until I tell myself to stop.

    1. Forgot to mention that shanahan did more than I expected. Not going to give him kudos but I was expecting nothing or one game for first offence. Oh and all those braindead leaf fans comparing this to Gio on reimer, "leaf fans aren't hockey fans, they're leaf fans, the worst".

  62. I am apparently blacklisted from posting on the TSN site though I've never posted anything untoward, except perhaps vaguely hinting at racism and leaf favouritism - just journalistic truths. Ahh well, no big loss.

    1. I 'logged in' to tsn maybe 4(+) years ago. Obviously I called out their and their fave commentor's bias. I know for a fact they track your login name/account. I picture a roomful of leaf idiots laughing as they ban and/or delete comments. Also, who the fuck is 'TSN Staff'? They need a group of typing monkeys to write the shit they post on their site? Sick fucks.

    2. True, the 'moderators' let the trolls on every thread while keeping anyone with a different opinion (anything not kissing leaf ass) out of the comments. Sure, they let in an odd one here or there but that;'s it. I once saw on where the poster asked 'how the fuck does anyone get a comment on here?" After many thumps up they deleted it. Then there's that fucker 'just_a_bad_habit" who gets to post a racial slur on PK and his 'bee stung lips" That later got removed but not until long after many replied to him - must have been a different 'moderator'
      Sick Fucks!

  63. Bah, Bruins beat 'bus in OT. I see Bobrovsky played. Does that mean the Habs make McElhanney look like a Vezina candidate tomorrow night in true Habs vs backup/nobody/journeyman goaltender fashion?

  64. the Maritimer9:43 PM

One thing I'm happy about, I now have a leaf I can truly despise. The fucking Jackal is a dirty little fuck. A cheapshot artist that other players and the league will now take note of, like Matt Cooke, Raffi Torres or Patrick Kaleta. He will get away with less, he will be a repeat offender and his next headshot will be a 7-10 gamer.

I could care less anymore what the Toronto mediots say about their shitty team. They will continue to lose. I loved the image of all those sad little fuckers crying their eyes out in maple leaf square after the Bruins crushed their hopes and fantasy of winning the Cup. I play golf with some leaf fans and they thought if they had beat the Bruins they would have gone automatically to the Finals. I just hold my tongue and laugh at them inside, let them believe that they could have won it all. Just like '93. Yeah, right. Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!! Dream on fools.

All that being said, I'm disappointed in my own team. Management can't find one single player who can score goals? They can't even score on clear cut breakaways (shootouts). Seriously? Price can't do it all by himself.
