  4. No worries. Still a best 8-1-1 in the last 10. The boys will CHisel a few past the PHuktards. I recognize that yoga 'instructor'. Some images had floated around last year. She's german I recall. Sie macht mein phallus wachsen.

In Philly? No kidding. Looks like a light went on in eMpTy's head.

Ol' Burkie may be full of it but he's not wrong all the time. Just like his Flames the Habs are way to small. MB's got a long way to go yet.

  27. I don't normally talk trades and/or contracts much but DGMB needs to step up, thing forward and sign PFK to the longest term possible and that includes the dollars. To think Habs revenues pay for salaries in fuckface bettman desert and sunbelt cities is fucking enough FFS.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Brunet Emelin didn't have a good game and he knew he was beat and the player was vulnerable and he doesn't like it when a player does that, if you're beat, you're beat and he should get 2 games.
      Fuck off.

      Delete
  48. Actually just caught the replay on the nbc feed's intermission. They tell me Emelin was making no effort on the puck and was clearly head hunting Steve Downie. Shanahan has to come down with a 'really harsh penalty' to try to curb this out of hand behavior. This is brilliant stuff coming from a Philthy broadcast!

  52. the Maritimer9:00 PM

OK. Just watched Randorf interview Richard Labbe....discussing a heart to heart re: Therrien and Briere yesterday, said management expected more from DB. What? What were they expecting from a small, over 35, several times concussed bought out player? A 40 goal, 100 point season? They are getting exactly what I expected...not much. I cringed when I read about the signing and thought it was Bergevin's second bad move after the DD signing. Seems Habs management still thinks they can win with a small speedy team. Not in Bettman's NHL.

    1. It's not just a size issue, it's the les gars de chez nous 'issue.

      Delete
    2. To be fair, they needed to replace Ryder. Who else was available without trading the farm? MB said at the beginning of the season to manage our expectations, this is a work in progress. Expect at least a couple of more painful years before this team (and his vision) arrives. In the meantime we should just enjoy whatever success they have. Moey out.

      Delete
    3. the Maritimer9:11 PM

Well said Moey. However, I would rather have lost with Leblanc or Bournival in the lineup. Briere was a waste of cap space.

      Delete
    4. True but we'll have to manage with band aid players that fit the budget until the prospects pan out. Believe me, I want a cup as much if not more than anyone. I was a fan back in the '70's and took it all for granted.

At least we have some key core players to build on, we"ll get there. MB has patience, not like Burke who did nothing with the leaf. I trust him.

  71. nice attempted (not sure he made contact) crosscheck to the throat of Gionta by Mason! Flyers announcers had a good laugh at Emery and Mason having a laugh about it. But holy classless fuckity fuck the Habs players were congratulating (Y) after hitting Downie - such disrespect.

    ReplyDelete
  72. What's with the phucktard's golies? Mason went after Gio, Gallagher went after Mason - he was winning that one, Reid(sp) went after Gallagher. Then I see the psycho Emery grinning and praising Mason. Bunch of phucktards.
But I guess they 'behaved' during the game.

    ReplyDelete
  73. A few observations:
    1) Looking at the box score, only one penalty to Philly. I mean, I guess that could happen. Even the worst criminals take a day off.

    2) Emelin should have got 2 minutes. Downey ducked at the last second. Loved seeing the refs say nothing until Downey sold it to them, then suddenly it's a major and a game. Joke of a league. Downey out there a few minutes later. I guess he consulted Dr. Rechi.

    3) Socring woes come back.

    4) Been saying it for years, this is a "good enough!" team. Do juuuuuuust enough to get by, nothing more. They got some points, now it's time for them to take a break. Same story for years now. Very little fight in this team. And, unfortunately, even less pride. Some of the guys show up every night (PK, gKid, Price (this season), gCHuck tonight) but lots of them just coast.

    5) Two of the weakest teams this weekend. I predict one point.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Re 2) There was no call originally, they went to commercial break and Emelin was still sitting on the bench when they were all discussing it and sent him to the box after we were back from the commercial break.

      Delete
    2. Yeah, I actually saw that. It's a joke of a league. Either it's a penalty at the time or it isn't. You can't just sit around and argue about it and then make it a penalty because Downey was slow to get up. He was back on the ice a few minutes later. What a joke.

      Delete
    3. Fuck O-man, you're right about the 'good enough' point. Scary thing is that remind me a lot of my college days - I didn't need A's, C's were 'good enough'. And I tell ya as a result, I'm not living a Stanley Cup life, but I'm getting by - comfortable enough.

      Delete
  74. Well at least the laff lost, there's some joy there.

    1. Technically, they still have one more period to embarrass themselves further. But didn't you hear? They played tehir best game of the year last night and thus the NHL should just award them 2 points. No irony is noticed by these jokers when they don't realize that the leaf don't deserve at least half the points they have. So, fine, let's ajust for the points they 'should' have. Have fun fighting for a draft pick with Buffalo.

      Delete
    2. Lots of whining after they were getting trashed on tsn - surprised they got posted.

      Delete
    3. oops...there is another period, my bad I thought it was over.
      Go Blues.

    4. The Shit Network has a slew of posters that they will allow to post just about anything for some reason. Try to post something intelligent = not a chance it gets past their moderators. Just weird.

      Delete
    5. In the last week I've seen "peppers" posted in reference to Quebecers, I've seen baseless accusations against Habs fans (like throwing things at the visiting players), I've seen borderline racist stuff directed at PK (He should go back to where he came from!!) and many more things. I posted, "Price is still a good goalie, get over it leaf fans" after the loss to LA and low and behold, it was blocked. I've tried a dozen times to say similar things on there and not once have my posts been published.

      Delete
  75. Well, the good news is Price bounced back well. Saw him make some BIG saves.

  78. LOLOLOLOLOL, TSN had headlines about the leaf CLOSING THE GAP! for the last while, getting their panties wet. Now the leaf lost it's HABS LOSE! (or whatever) that greets you. There is literally no link to the leaf game on the homepage.

    ReplyDelete
  79. For the Maritimer
There are 22 players in the NHL who are 5’9″ or shorter.

Eighteen of them play in the Eastern Conference. Five are Canadiens: Gallagher, Gionta, Daniel Brière, David Desharnais and Francis Bouillon.

There are more short players on this team than in THE ENTIRE WESTERN CONFERENCE!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Its going to be a black sexy Friday, not because PFK has signed a long term deal no sir or madam, its just the air inflating any balloon lifting our hearts to Stanley Cup run is done.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Instead of the playoffs lets have a round robin series with the Phuctards and the leaf, call it the loser hate bowel.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Do not blame the players, they are having a mild PTSD from the cognitive dissonance they had to absorb from the Kings. Waking up one morning reading the paper Harper is still PM and Buttman still rules like a little stupid Napoleon standing on a pallet of money which he hands out liberally south of the mason Dixon line.
