    Morrison! The Doors! Yeah!!

New York is not that dangerous. I was told by a couple of tour guides that former Mayor Rudy Guiliani hired thousands of police to patrol and clean up downtown Manhattan. I think they succeeded. There was a massive police presence and so many people walking about you couldn't get mugged if you tried. I did have one guy ask me if I could spare him a $1000. I just chuckled and kept walking. I thought Montreal was a big city until I went to NY. Mind boggling is all I got for now.

Steve, no need to call CSIS, I checked out OK at the border and my hand doesn't twitch. I haven't watched any of season 3 of Homeland yet, but I'm sure Brody is still working for Nazir.

  2. Someday I'd love to take a tour of the Big Apple. Just not in the books right now. And of course a game at the Bell Centre is above that on the list.
Habs unbeaten in regulation in 10.

I think we're gold Jerry, gold.
I don't see this streak ending until maybe the Blues 6 games from now.

Saw the Kings play in Tampa the year they won the Cup. I sat in their end and during the warmup noted they were a bunch of big mofos. No easy task tonight. Price will have to be air tight I think. Wonder if the mediots will be still saying Scri-Vezina if he beats the Habs?

  11. Pure classless comments by the leaf in reaction to Princess' suspension. Zero concern for the opponent's health (see PatCHes). Clueless and classless Belinda shot at 'the kid Miller' for losing his feet and zero acknowledgement that it was due to a leaf (the new wendel) slashing him. What an arrogant and ignorant shit organization.

  34. "Huge news has come the way of Johnny Cash fans today – myself included – with word that a brand new record will see the light of day in early 2014. Out Among The Stars is the first new release since the American Recordings series came to a close in 2010 and will be compiled of songs recorded by the legendary Country Music star in the Eighties.

The tracks on Out Among The Stars were originally recorded in Nashville, Tennessee at Columbia Studios in 1981 and 1111 Sound Studios in 1984 and produced by Billy Sherrill, the architect of the "countrypolitan" sound who was heading A&R at CBS Records Nashville at the time.

The recordings, which have never been released in any form, are not demos, outtakes or alternate versions. They remained in the vaults during the years Columbia Records released Johnny Cash's last albums for the label and were subsequently forgotten."

  78. I'm not watching, but just checking the boxscore makes me wonder 'what if' that asshat Mario Tremblay had pulled Roy after the 1st intermission when it was 5-1. I wonder how different our Habs would have been for the past 18? years now. And since I'm there, I personally pin more blame on Ronald Cory. Savard and Demers in my mind should have never been fired and replaced by 2 inexperienced guys in such important positions. Yep, it still hurts.

  85. The thing that actually bothered me in the game last night was after that blatant interference on the 3rd goal (even the LA guy looked at the ref afterwards), no Hab seemed to argue with the ref. Gio should have been ni the ref's face, MT2.0 should have been screaming from the bench, Price should have been there. But no one said anything, the puck was dropped 15 seconds later. It just showed me the fight that was in the guys last night. Not that they ever seem to get passionate about anything, mind you. I know PK can't do anything, lest TSN label him an angry black man and the leaf fans hide their white women.

    ReplyDelete
  86. the Maritimer7:31 PM

The best thing they can do after that game last night is file and forget. Nobody goes 82-0.
