    1. Just to keep it all company, we are talking about a twenty something from Australia matiing with a twenty something from Canada to produce the perfect Harper Bitch. No matter that they be male or female, Harper knows they can not be worse than the celibite Jason Kenney. His momma says, why do you not take any colour in that dark night.

  4. A Budi call tonight is more than warranted. I thought I read somewhere that TFS tweaked his groin...but I might have just been hopeful of him not going to Sochi...never mind. Congrats to all the Habs who made their respective Olympic squads. The Habs have some fucking great players - kinda gives you more to cheer for when watching the games. On another note...I give you my word that I will not slag off the coach again. I will, from this point forward, only refer to him as "the coach". Any reference I may make to squad selection, bench management, discipline, emotion, IQ etc., will be aimed only at "the coach" - where once "the coach" warranted a 4HF nickname, he does no longer, so I referred to him by his family name. But that too is no longer warranted (IMHO) hence the "the coach" reference which I shall use for the foreseeable. ...and that's enough of that. We got us a hockey game to win bitches!

Now let's get some energy built up for our Habs. Every game is a Must Win. The Habs need all the points they can - but more importantly, they need to play strong and hard. Shoot the puck, crash the net, take the man and JUST WIN GODDAMMIT!

To answer Moey's question (moe suggested it as well), intimidation is a factor for some players. There were quite a few on the Montreal side who wouldn't (or couldn't) get anywhere near Mason. Conversely when the Phuckers were in the Habs zone take note of the havoc created in front of Budaj. All those big bodies, Simmonds, Hartnell, Couturier, Rinaldo, etc. had their way with the undersized D (Murray excepted). This has been going on since 2008 when Michael fucking Leighton hung three shutouts on them in five games.

Pittsburgh can hang with Philly, their only problem is high strung goaltender. Boston is better than Philly overall and they have equal size no problem there.

Nope, the Habs just don't have the parts to play with these guys yet. I was disappointed with the 30 minutes or so I watched that Max and RBQ were useless on the forecheck. Floaters, both of them, no net presence at all. Too bad you couldn't graft Gallagher's heart into their bodies.

Finally, like moe mentioned last night, I am tired of "the coach's" mind games. I CONTROL ICE TIME THEREFORE YOU WILL COMPLY!! Sounds like the fucking Borg Queen.

  67. I'm getting very worried about a lot of stuff...a 2-1-1 start to the year wouldn't be something to get too upset about if it weren't for the manner in which they got there...and this, I am afraid, is where the Habs are starting to look very much like the Habs of 2010. And I am not talking about the way they are playing - I'm talking about the management - they are not paying attention - just like when Chocula was lulling everyone into a false sense of security. They were winning games they got lucky in, losing games they didn't bother showing up for, and just losing games they should have won easily. So people said stuff like - "oh they are playing well - bad luck"...shit like that - and I'm hearing it again. "The refs fucked us over..." is the latest. Maybe the refs did fuck us over but if the game had been put away when it should have been, there would have been no need for the last minute panic that gets nullified by a bullshit penalty call. Someone is not paying attention. DGMB (still worthy!) is not looking at what is happening right in front of his eyes..."The coach gave up on his own team last night. And he even said it out loud. By not pulling the goalie the coach took away their last desperate chance to try and make something happen. The coach decided that the team was not going to win. The coach threw his hands up and said that the team - HIS TEAM - was not good enough. And maybe the coach was right on this occasion - but we will never really know for sure because the coach didn't give the team a chance to prove otherwise. How can DGMB let that happen? Let me use another sport to demonstrate - in baseball, if your team is down by, say, 5 runs in the bottom of the ninth - two outs and the pitcher due up. The pitcher is a shit hitter so IN EVERY INSTANCE, the manager will pinch hit unless he physically doesn't have another player. The pinch hitter could get a hit, a home run even, that starts a rally. If you decide "you know what - fuck this bullshit - those fucking lazy bastards have done fuck all all game - let jimmy whatthefuck pitcher have a crack at bat, then we can all go to the pub!", they your ass has no business behind the bench of any professional sporting team. I am sorry but I will take anyone on who says differently. In all probability, the Habs would not have scored a goal, never mind two. They possibly would have ended up losing by another goal - but we will never know if pulling Budaj and putting another player capable of scoring a goal would have happened. That is because the coach said "in the first 10 minutes of the period they only had 5 shots, so they were not going to score in the last minute of the game"...or something along those lines.

The coach, my fellow 4HFers, has exposed himself completely on this occasion. As we have suspected all along, it is not a pretty sight. DGMB has got to take note of this. He has to do something about the way the Habs are playing. They are not winning well and they are losing even worse. Just because they are not last in the league doesn't mean changes are not required...because we all remember what happened the last time...

    1. Maybe if he didn't bench PFK for 10 minutes, they might have had more shots on goal.

Therrien is playing with fire. He has mistreated Pk since day 1 and even prior to his being named coach when he was an analyst on RDS and his benching of his star player is nothing but feeding his own ego - he just doesn't want anyone to be bigger than himself. Keep pushing it MT and PK will sign a short contract, you will run him out of town. If that happens you will never have seen any sort of fan uproar like the one that will surely rain against the Canadiens organisation. MOLSON WAKE UP before you lose the best thing that happened to this team in decades!

  68. Reporter asked therrien "So, the message to Subban was more important than settling the score?"
Therrier " Team concept will never be compromised, never, never" That answer totally contradicts itself, when he himself wasn't practising what he preaches by benching his best player for 10 mins - hence (probably) only 4 shots on goal, then not pulling Budaj.

You already know the answer to that moe. They already tried with Randy C. and it ended badly. You'd think by now though, even the french speaking fans in Quebec would just want a coach that could win consistently and not be concerned if he could converse to the public en francais.
