    3. According to some, the Avs also wanted a prospect - the guy from that overplayed Passenger song, Andyoulettergo

Just fuckin' win for fuck sake!

    2. Good stuff. I'd be safe in Hamilton. I don't have nearly $100.

For it was not fanatical fans who smashed the Windows of the car, in some sort of misplaced frustration that you had lost a match ?

"No, it is live 600 000 people in Hamilton and unemployment is at 33 5. They shoot people for $ 100!"

I'd be safe in Hamilton. I don't have nearly $100.

    BATTLESTAR GALACTICA VIEWING UPDATE

I am done. Done like eMpTy's career hopefully. I must say, I had no problem with the finale. Yes, there were some little things to maybe nitpick about (there always are in any Sci-fi I think), but I thought it came to a satisfactory conclusion. Maybe (SPOILERS from here on) "Starbuck" just disappearing like that was a bit of a letdown to not really get an answer of what she was, but I have no problem with that type of approach where the viewer can have some conclusions or guesses of their own (not like the stupid Lost finale where you had to make all the conclusions). I like that the new planet was our Earth, even though I read some people didn't. I know some people didn't like Head 6 and Head Baltar being "angels" or whatever, but really were they watching the show? It was a religious show.

All in all, a wonderful viewing experience. Very happy I finally did it.

I always found it ironic that the Cylons, made by Man, would worship the one true God, whereas Man worshipped "the gods". Neat little twist by the writers.

      Delete
    5. Except for Baltar and his crazy cult of hot chicks!

There were so many neat little twists. One of the reasons it was such a great show

      Delete
    6. the Maritimer3:24 PM

Yeah, Baltar basically became Jesus. I'm glad you didn't mind the ending, I was certainly OK with it. Wrapped everything up neatly like Breaking Bad.

    7. Cam I be the voice of reason here. Faith made this show, you take Lorne Greene and transform him into an actor with a script and an idea to make people think. You know what I think, Jesus was a toster, so butter that with Tea Party tears and Reform intelligence, they do not call it the wailing wall because people are comming to it with good scenario.

  11. Brian Wilde reports that the NHL is keeping a close eye on Sochi. There are currently 3 'black widows' in Sochi area and if you have bad intentions, the high-value target is an NHL player, if anything happens before Feb 9th, the NHL will pull out of the Olympics.

I wanted to say: Welcome Home Captain Kirk. Too bad Quebec politics wouldn't allow you to take your rightful spot behind the Habs bench. If you win tonight I won't hold a grudge.

  13. Listening to Nilan speaking to Savard, Nilan says that last night on Le Match (tva) Michel Langevin said that DGMB asked Savard if he thought he should hire Marc Crawford and he said no. Savard told Nilan he was never asked that.

    1. langevin is one of the most disgusting self-fellating media personalities, ever. I've called him a racist to his face and made him apologize for his scurrilous screeds against the Canadiens. tva sure knows how to pick em.

    5. I've mentioned it before. Whilst discussing PFK, approx. 2 years ago, he used the word lynching. I emailed him and asked him to retract his statement and apologize. He wouldn't. The radio station owners forced him to. It took 2 dozen emails and trying to explain to him what a sickening comment was made. Worse, he denied knowing what the true meaning of lynching was and he said most of his audience wouldn't. When he was on RDS, he was one of the crazier Habs haters they had. Not sure how people like that have media jobs. Sick fuck.

    6. At this very moment I am listening to Jack White and Mick sing Loving Cup. IMHO its a great rendition. Our Habs are such a song, sometimes it is well sung, other times off tune. We must always remember in this battle of the bands there are cockroaches beneath our feet that like Zombies will not die but seem to infect every media they meet. The NHL has become a WWF or WWW world. Its not about hockey its about marketing. Hey guess what I wrote something on a similar vein.

    7. the Maritimer5:05 PM

Kelly Tilghman of the Golf Channel got a two week suspension for just joking that the only way to stop Tiger Woods from winning everything in sight was to lynch him. She apologized and retracted her statement. Tiger ended up shooting himself in the foot anyway.

Funny side note, the Rev. Al Sharpton wanted Kelly fired for her comment saying it was racist but when he found out Tiger was such a skinhound for white girls only, the Reverend wondered why Tiger wasn't cheating with African American girls instead.

  58. You know this will be TSN's headline:
    "Habs beat tired Canes"
Montreal, QC- Despite PK Subban selfishly taking a penalty at the most important time of the game, midway through the second period, the Montreal Canadiens were able to pull off a squeaker of a victory over a very tired Carolina team. The Montreal goalie was able to make a couple of saves, but was overshadowed by Subban's showboating.

The Canadiens, who stand behind THE TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS barely won the game, unlike THE TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS who completely dominated in their glorious win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. This is not a surprise because the TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS beat the Canadiens 6-0 last year, a game in which they scored 6 goals while the Habs weren't able to score any on future Hall of Famer . During the game where the TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS beat the Montreal Canadiens 6-0, they were clearly the better team which they have proven again and again by beating them nearly half the time since.

    GO LEAFS GO!
