I couldn't hear a lot of the hnicockroach leaf blowing as there was a great deal of chit chat and some bantering going on. It was at least entertaining to watch. The Habs D and Patches were guilty of some major fuck ups but c'est la vie. On to football today.

  3. Incredible how the hate on for PFK just keeps on being fed by the mediots. Their Riefenstahlish universe is one sick fucked up galaxy of goofs and even more fucked up lemmings.

Habs needs to make some CHanges when the season is over, say goodbye to MT2 (if not sooner) and thank Gio for his efforts and give PFK the CH's 'C'.

I'd fire Therrien right now. In the off season, goodbye to Gio, RBQ, Diaz, Cube and if possible DD and Briere. I'd make Pleks the new captain take an A away from Gorges and give it to PK. All the open spots would be given to the best prospects in the organization. Probably a bad plan but WTF, you would know what you have.

  4. I will be glad when he goes, but the Habs need to look to hire from all coaches available and stop narrowing the field.

  5. Canucks/Flames started with a brawl involving all players right at the faceoff. Torts was so pissed he even tried to go to the Flames dressing room.

  6. So I work up this morning an came across Y's jock...I suspect he was looking for it all game after that first goal the leaf scored against him...Man he had a bad game! Gorges had a pretty poor game too...but that is not the issue. Why bring 2 guys up from Hamilton just to sit on the bench or in the press box. If losing 2 face offs in a row is why he didn't get another shift, how do you explain all the other Habs centermen on the ice last night? The coach has to go...the Habs wont make the playoffs at this rate. And no matter what anyone anywhere says...a loss to the leaf at any point is completely unacceptabe and demands immediate action. It is never acceptable to loss to the leaf EVER!!!

Just watched the hnic "panel" after the first period shenanigans between Vancouver and Calgary. PJ stuck is a fucking moron. How he ever got that job at cbc will remain a mystery until the end of time. Garbled english, interrupted thought processes and analyses that offer nothing. wtf?

    3. They were the best D pairing at the time, but coach had to break that, then bread up the Lego line to spark his darling and Lego always gets shuffled around. Lego who was always in the doghouse has always done everything asked of him and never afforded the opportunities of the favoured. Same thing with Gallagher, shuffled and juggled.
In the last 18 games Habs have 18 points, same players on the team so what is the other common factor? Price is saving this coach's job.

Juce, the Habs don't have the horses to keep up with Boston and probably Tampa neither. You are right about the other teams in pursuit. If I can use a NASCAR analogy...on the super speedways like Daytona and Talladega a bunch of cars will line up behind each other and set up a draft so the lead car will be pushed to the front of the field overtaking any single cars in front of them. That's essentially what's happening behind Montreal. Believe it or not Columbus is in a wild card spot. Jeepers!

Glad to see LL get a shot, well, with eMTy who knows, maybe he will only get 1:45 in a game like Nattinen.

Every year I would ask my son if he wanted to play hockey. Every year he said no, and every year I was most pleased with the situation. This allowed him to experience other things try different stuff. Jack the Todd hit the nail on the head when he wrote about Bee Burkie and Torts with that shit at the beginning of the Van game and The National Embarrassment dressed like Liberace accusing PFK of flamboyance. There are times when I don't recognize or understand the game. Perhaps I'm not drinking enough.
    Go Habs

  26. the Maritimer9:50 AM

It's so obvious when Toronto plays Montreal the HNIC crew (Kevin Weekes excepted) WANT the leaf to win they don't even bother trying to disguise it anymore. It used to piss me off to no end but now I find it mildly amusing. If the leaf win I will turn the tv off immediately after but if Montreal wins I will stick around to listen to all the excuses as to why the leaf lost. There's usually no mention as to why Montreal won.

Been reading some of the comments over at HI/O, a poster of similar age to me said he was getting tired of the mediocrity of the team despite all the changes over the years of owners, management and players. We are now coming to the end of Bob Gainey's 5 year plan which began in 2009 when he traded for the Mexican't and signed Squid and Gio. Anybody see any real difference between then and now other than a few players? I predict we will be complaining about the same players and things a year from now with little if any personnel changes.
