  2. What beautiful Team Canada pics!
Love the CArey and +76 one and the CArey and Marty pic is priceless.

  3. Updated the daily pic.

Also, I know some people ragged on the new flag jersey but I really like it. Think I may get one. The header pic of all the boys in a row looks like one consistent coast to coast Canadian mosaic of a flag.

    1. The header pic should be marketed big time. It looks like a similar 1972 Team Canada pic, minus the sideburns.

  7. Howdy neighbors! Just want to congratulate you on both of your hockey golds. Though I am a Flyer fan and US'ian, I love me some hot Olympic hockey action and your goalie certainly delivered some. As did that Crosby fucker - now go beat him up on Thursday.

  9. A big merci beaucoup to Stevie Y. For all he has done in regards to and for Team Canada, going out on top is a worthy gesture. Please take over for fuckface bettman and rid our game of the garbage that smells it up.

  10. Wow. The video of this is even better than just reading this:

Babcock then took a shot at Phil Kessel, without mentioning his name. "Does anybody know who won the scoring race? Does anybody care? Does anybody know who won the gold medal," said the coach, who rushed out to get to the closing ceremony. "See you guys," he said.

  13. I have added an extra CArey pic, just above the final ending golden Canadian flag. I think it is an incredible image of our Canadian goalie's extreme focus and may be one of the best photos of Carey Price, ever.

Go Canada! Still the world's best. But I'm sure the Leafs could easily beat this Canadian squad. No really; just ask any Leaf fan - they'll tell you.

The Bleacher Report ( CNN Sports) lists The Excited States as coming in No.2 in the Limpicks cause they have a lot of bronze medals.
They have a lot in common with Leaf Blowers and the Toronto Sports Network.

  23. The Canadiens keeper, in fact, left Russia with a set of numbers that defy conventional thinking. In the Olympic tournament, facing the best players in the world, he stopped 103 of 106 shots for a .971 save percentage and a goals-against average of 0.59.

    Who does this?

“He can be a real difference-maker if he chooses to be,” said Babcock. “It looks like he has that fire.”

  24. I've warned before of the sick little fuck chris johnson, ex-CP hockey writer, now full-blown leaf sucker at snet. His replacement is just as much a leaf blower and this little POS takes it out on PK whilst sucking his leaf, again.

    http://www.thestar.com/sports/sochi2014/hockey/2014/02/24/team_canada_in_mens_hockey_at_pyeongchang_in_2018_could_look_like_this.html#

Turds include putting in a 2014 leaf rookie in for sure in 2018 and slagging PK:

Just as in 2014, Canada is blessed (or cursed?) with having too many right-handed-shooting defencemen, meaning if the style of play is like Sochi, Hamilton fits over Justin Schultz or P.K. Subban — who would still be only 28 — unless the Canadiens defenceman rounds out his game as he gets older.

Crying over a leaf goalie that should've been in Sochi and suggesting PK's kid brother, who hasn't played a single pro game:

There’s no reason to believe Price won’t return as the starter given he’ll still be in his prime. Anyone could have made a case for Bernier in 2014, but a few more seasons will build up his body of work nicely. Incredibly, Malcolm Subban might have a better chance of making Team Canada than his brother.

So, when you see the name stephen whyno (I know, the jokes write themselves), beware. This piece of garbage is the basis for 50% of post game articles. He's a sick fuck leaf fan.

    1. And that is why the leafies think their loser team is the cat's meow.
I just don't understand the hype for a team that never had to play more than 3 rounds to win a series and whose last Cup was when only 6 teams existed.

Lots of people advocating trading Markov, my personal feelings - I'd give him the 3 years. The athletes of today train more and keep themselves in better physical condition. Markov at 35 is and can still be effective at 38, look no further than Martin St. Louis at 38 for an example. I'd rather see them replace Gorges.

    1. we are not really interested in your personal feelings, we want your hockey insider wisdom, like pointing out how bad a two to nothing lead really is.

  32. I know he wants three and the Habs are offering 1 - let's see a compromise and give him 2. That way the Habs have shown commitment and in 2 more years I suspect he'll be ready to pack it in...if not, they get an option for another year. He's still too good to let go over semantics...

    ReplyDelete
  33. His experience makes him a great mentor for the young players coming in. He's still got it, I just think coach plays him to much and wears him down.

    ReplyDelete
  34. If we plan on winning the cup within 3 years trading Markov is not a risky strategy. He could probably play a urologist on a hockey team into his forties.

  35. People are paid huge sums of money every day not to understand things that are simple to understand. That is the explanation for all the professional leaf cocksuckers in Sports Media. Toronto is the number one media market, Bell and Rodgers own the leafs, anyone who plays for the Leafs is a star athlete. If Toronto does not win the cup its Gods will.

What little I saw of the Russian team during the Olympics... Datsyuk and Markov were two of the better players and the leaders of the team. Ovechkin was next to useless and Malkin was not very effective.

I bet MB bends a little and they keep him. They have to, there's no replacement unless you give all his responsibilities to PK and hope Beaulieu steps up to the plate.

  40. The funniest thing about the CotU mediots and as of right now they all sing from the same sick fuck sound sheet, is that their team and only their team can benefit from learning from how Team Canada played in the Olympics. They all yip that their team must play a more defensive system like Team Canada did. How many fucking holes can one shoot through that blue and white bullshit? Don't they have a defense minded coach who won a Norris? Do they have a decent defense? Do they fore and back check?
