Might as well go for a sauna
Nobody hurts and don cherry cries
Might as well go for a sauna
mclame drones just more cbc lies

So we're in one of our blog moods
Coach wanna have it your way and I want it mine
All this debating goaling 'round in our blue paint
Makes me thirsty for <insert fave drink here>

Might as well go for a sauna
Mediots blurt and insidredger sighs
Might as well go for a sauna
Cockroaches hurt, friedman’s hair looks dyed

Life seems to be a bomb inside of your head
Well the bomb in my head is CArey love
All this debating goaling 'round in our blue crease
Makes me hungry for <insert fave brunch here>

Might as well go for a sauna
Teemu flirts = Pant!ies off thighs
Might as well go for a sauna

Might as well go for a sauna
It's better than heely slander,
It's better than KG(ary)B(ettman) spies

  1. Great parody, moeman.
Still no word on from coach babs.
    Go Team Canada Go!!

  2. Seems to me that going into the Olympics, you should already know who will guard the net and if so, why all the secrecy, cloak and dagger stuff, KG(ary)B(ettman) spies don't even seem to know. Toss a coin if you can't make a profession decision.

  3. Great Paradoy of one of the most annoying songs ever. Growing up in Southern Ontario I saw lots and lots of Max Weber, our own Janes Addiction. Patio lanterns are lighting up all over Sochi and they spell CArey. Bablblingcock will not let PFK play either. He wants Choucla system error free hockey or dont play. But why PFK held to a different standard?

  5. Bronze for Hudec in the Super G! First alpine medal in 20 years!

  6. Silver for Maltais!!!!

And Brad Jacobs has clinched a playoff berth (still not looking strong, though. Needed two mistakes by USA in 10th end to win).

    Great start for Canada today!!!

  19. I was awake all night, finally shut my eyes around 5:30. I hate when that happens, I'll be dragging my ass all the damn day. Flipping channels, started watching Doc Zone, an episode about counterfeiting. Did you know there are even counterfeit airplane parts? They're freaking everywhere, even our military's herculese has counterfeit computer chips, which were installed at Locheed Martin. Phony parts were also found in Obama's helicopter and airplane. Canada Goose used to have 1 person track down phoney on line sales, now they have like hundreds. There was even counterfeit cancer medecine sold legitimately.

  20. They better win this one or Putin won't be happy.

    ReplyDelete
  21. RUS wins, Putin doesn't look so thrilled with this effort tho

    ReplyDelete
  22. Russia will have to go the extra round. Well, so did Canada in 2010.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Watching CBC online which is a god send (every event live!), but the commercials keep freezing, putting me further and further back of the live action. Reload? Well, it starts off with commercials. Which freeze.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I just reloaded, and now there's no sound.

Not complaining! Compared to other Olympics I'm pretty much like the NSA in Sochi right now, watching, reading and listening to everything.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Gotta agree with Steve, why is +76 held to a different standard? Doughty took a bad penalty holding a jersey, Pietrangelo didn't cover CArey on the goal for said PP. If +76 was there, he would have known CArey's intention. Kunitz hits a guy in the numbers, got a slashing penalty when it should have been 2 +10 and he gets every opportunity. Why does this all sound like deja vu?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Twit Hab fans on Twitter "Babcock is an idiot". Really? Get a grip or even better a brain cell or two. FFS, I don't care who sits, I just want gold.

    ReplyDelete
  27. The Dutch sweep another speed skating podium. That's three so far (and predicted to do it again in at least 1 of the last 2 races). 17 medals for them so far, 16 in long track (+1 in short track, the one who got gold tonight). They've won 16/24 medals available in SS so far. Unbelievable.

You don't have to be a speed skating fan to appreciate this, just a sports fan.

I'm with Moey, just win a medal please. That being said, the mediots must be having a fit if Carey is starting.

I was actually surprised to see Varlamov back in the Russian net today after the show Bob put on yesterday. Lot of pressure on the Russkies with Putin at every game, they are definitely squeezing their sticks pretty hard and trying to do too much individually.

Jaro looked kind of forlorn on the bench today while that KHL goalie stoned the Russians.

I hope the Yanks get bombed their next game and get sent home early so the cockroaches will shut the fuck up about their favourite team, the US of A with their leaf superstars. Too bad for you Patches.

  45. Talking about Korea getting ready for the Olympics, there's an Asian hockey league with teams from Korea, China and Japan. Up until last year there was only one Korean team (a friend lives nearby, went to see a few games). But this year they have four teams, two specifically to prepare for the Olympics. One is made up of military. They are getting ready, and seeing Korea compete in the many of the Olympic sports when they only cared about speed skating (and Kim Yuna) in the past is encouraging.
