Okay I will jinx them, its a test
I remember that movie...William Petersen before csi. Very cool. Game comes on at 3.30 am uk time so I will catch the highlights tomorrow. Go Habs Go!
Good test. LA are for real.Another Booty call?Boys have a habit of rising to the occasion.Go Habs
I would love to see them tear through some western teams on this trip. It is good to see young Galchenyuk back in the line-up. I doubt any of these goals will give us a flashback to Atom hockey and cover up a puck near the blue line. :o)
Greasy haired slimebag insidredger spouting nonsense about the Senaturds "quietly" shopping Jason Spezza. What a fucking maroon, as if you trade a guy like that in the prime of his career.
bruce garrioch has more credibility.
All these trade rumour guys are like eklund...they make it up as they go along.
Wednesday is the day insidredger gets to stand on his own dick and be 2 inches taller. Disgusting little greaseball.
This must really be a kick in the nether regions for the leafs, fans and the leaf sucking mediots.https://twitter.com/markhmasters/status/440585838485700609/photo/1
Nice catCH juce. FWIW, that little twerp mark masters is a CotU leaf sucking fuck.
Aren't they all?
Condolonces to Mrs and Mrs. Bergevin and family on the loss of his mother-in-law.
Condolences to the families.
I won't be watching tonight, 11:30 start is way to late for me. This last week surprised me, 5 out of 6 points, if the Habs can play .500 hockey from here on they should be playoff bound. They are better defensively and have better goaltending than the wretched leaf so they should be able to keep them in the rear view mirror. The leaf has to do this west coast swing as well....I can't see Bergevin doing anything big at the deadline, the only player likely to be moved would be Cube for a late round pick perhaps. I think what we see is what we get.
Healthy, in-the-lineup Charger and BlanCHe will be bonus for the final 20 games.
I'd like to announce my schedule for this week, on days with games:5-8 EST drink heavily~8:30 EST pass out drunkenly on couch~12:30 AM EST wake up groggily on couch going "what? who? where am I? why did I just dream of Stephen Harper but with steve's head?"12:30 and following EST watch 3rd period and any OT/SOGYFLateHG!!!!
Anything is possible when you drink in the afternoon!!Go Habs
There's that 8-8:30 gap ...
If I was PM hoickey games would start at a decent family hour. Think about the children people, they got to go to school and get up early to watch mr dressup
May I add.....GO YOU FUCKING BJ'S GO!!! And as 29 is wont to say: DIE LEAF DIE!!!
+67Same here fellow Maritimer. 11:30 is too fucking late. That's usually when I'm dragging my tired ass to bed, maybe I'll catch 1/2 a period if I can take it. Be interesteing to see if the cockroaches show us the SJ game on Saturday. I see the nucks/flames are on at the same time, both on the docket. I doubt people in Vancouver and Calgary even want to watch that game...we'll see.
9th: http://www.tsn.ca/fantasy_news/rankings/nhl/"One regulation loss in the past 10 leaves the Habs third overall in the East, but while G Peter Budaj is having a strong season, there are no illusions that they can maintain that roll without Carey Price. The counter, in the short term, is that they got Alex Galchenyuk back in the lineup. "
8th: http://espn.go.com/nhl/powerrankings"The Habs have rattled off 10 goals in their past two games, but face a tough week ahead in a four-game West Coast swing with stops in L.A., Anaheim, Phoenix and San Jose."At least that's honest
And yet, they postition remained the same, last updated on Feb 3rd.
Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go!!!
2 zip BJ's in the second. *Snicker*
Crank up the mediot excuse machine cuz their leaf was suppose to 'get payback' but ended up losing, again.
Pricey is on the IR list. Eek! Okay, I'm gonna watch the first. Oh yeah, obviously I'm not at the game as originally planned, postponed La La land until May.
The date of TFS on IR (02/26) could mean we see him in net before Saturday.
True moe. One of my old high school friends is there tonight, she lives there but is still a diehard Habs fan. She"ll be wearing her Joun Ferguson jersey. She'll cheer for both of us, we share the same name.
Say hello to your friend Kate, Kate.
Ack. Wake the fuck up!
Last time I was there the Kinks were ahead 2-0 but we beat them in overtime. Our dear old friend LG77 confided to me that she hated Pricey. I was a little taken aback, wonder what she thinks now?
She was a lot of fun.
Not a shrinking violet by any means.
WooooJust got in!!
LEAF DIED, LEAF DIED!
The funniest part of the mediot excuses for their team's losses is that although Belinda tried really hard to teach them the Team Canada defensive style, they just can't seem to make it work. No kidding.
That's they use the lumberjack model.
Sweet CH dreams Moey.
Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go!!!Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go!!!
Cash it! Let's go!
Trying to hang on here.
Cash it, cash it, cash it! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go! Go Habs Go!!!
Not liking the pace. Skill/size vs will. Habs can score and make it close but got to step it up in the man coverage. I really don't know why LA is famous for not scoring given their depth. I hate saying it. I counter it with an empathic GYFHG
Make like the Hamburgler and steal it!
Cash it, our Habs, GO!!!!!!!!
Deja vu, Habs just can't seem to cash it, they get good chances just not the puck luck.
MoeMan almost had a shortie.
Very close but no cigar.
So is it a set play now that the point men will fake a shot and then weakly direct it sort of towards the goal, but really 5 feet wide, so it can be blocked or scooped up and cleared easily? That's pretty much all I've seen them do the last few games, with the exception of PK (sometimes). I mean, what's the point (pun intended)?
I watched until the middle of the second. We lost 2 to 1. Our only goal was a fluke. However in a seven game series there is no reason we would not win, Longfellow took on one of the toughest customers in the league and more than stood his ground. We have two lines that can play against anyone and more than stand their ground. Crankshaft seems to have found his gear. If Lego can remember that Danny Beer can play hockey we might have a third line. The fourth line with Charger, Carnival White/Moeman should be one of the best in the league. When TFS comes back we are contenders. Make the deal for Jagar FFS.
I would think the time change had something to do with the game last night, according to their body clocks they would have played that game from 10:40 to almost 2:00am, that can't be easy. By all accounts they held their own and Buddy gave them a chance.Even two points on this trip would be a positive. You know what, I'm starting to agree with Steve, Jagr with PleXXXe and gCHuk would be a line that would have to be dealt with and leave "Me and Davey's" line more open. Hey MB give Lou a call today, OK?
Budda, Leblanc and Plaid to NJ for Jager, high price but when you gotta go you gotta go
No way DGMB goes for Jagr, he tried to come here 3 times and was turned down.
No way Jagr would cost that much. A 4th or 5th round pick at best.On Sportsnet tomorrow for deadline day is special guest pFuck daddy, moe can't wait.....
if thats the price, we just paid that for a 35 year old 7 D smurf
he Florida Panthers have traded defenceman Mike Weaver to the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2015 Draft. In 55 games with the Panthers this season, Weaver has six assists. The 35-year-old Weaver is currently in the final year of a two-year deal he signed with the Panthers prior to the 2012-13 season worth an average annual value of $1.1 million.
Who's Mike Weaver? Apparently he's ours now.
5'10, 185lbs.Found this. http://www.cbc.ca/sports-content/hockey/opinion/2014/01/mike-weaver-will-continue-to-inspire-after-his-nhl-career.html
He Shoots right, he shoots right, he is a smurf, he is old
I say we call him McCloud, cause his last name is Weaver, and its hey hey he get of of my cloud
Dreamweaver....'I believe you can get me through the night...."
I like it Juce, and DGMB was on a peyote dream when he made this move
Since this guy seems all about defence, maybe DGMB is going to move vodkov?
Urgent call from Mr Molson to DGMBMr Molson: I said Huberdeau, Huberdeau, and you get a Weaver! (hangs up)
Fear the collapse. DGMB has taken the Canada defense first policy that borught home gold, to the Stephen Harper/Rob Ford wishbone six sigma solution. Yes we are going to dress 21 defenceman and DDD. How can we lose?
Scott Gomez and Scot Clemmensen (FLA) also on waivers. Clearing cap for Vodkov?
I don't want to see Vodkov go.
"Weaver's not flashy, with seven goals in 585 career games, but he's active in a defensive role -- one of 26 defencemen to have at least 90 hits and 90 blocked shots so far this season."
Now they're playing Dreamweaver on tsn.
Maybe Cube's replacement? We haven't seen him in awhile.
If he eMTy can make him into a good teamate and trust him so the (Y) can play the left side on the second pair, its not a bad deal
The Mexicant is available for free. Imagine a DDD, Mexicant, Vampire Dan line. Those big defencemen would be like elephants trying to stop mice.
"I always enjoyed blocking shots, taking the pain to the next shift" I won't say what I'm thinking about that. There's a few vids on the Habs website, he used to play with Stache.
They actually did call him Dreamweaver lol
@JohnLuTSNMtl: #Habs Price is here in Segundo with some of his teammates for optional skate. We will see in 50 minutes if he practises. Stand by.
@JohnLuTSNMtl: #Habs advise that Price will be on the ice shortly, after having undergone treatments at El Segundo.
From Habs website, TFS in the net.http://instagram.com/p/lIs586MzXw/
Canadiens Montréal @CanadiensMTL 11 minsCarey Price said he will likely skate on his own again tomorrow and is continuing his rehab. Won't play vs Anaheim.
@JohnLuTSNMtl: #Habs Price says his condition flared up during 2nd Team Canada practice. Played the whole Olympics in "manageable" discomfort.JohnLuTSNMtl: #Habs Price says the medical decision to shut him down was precautionary, due to a condition that was bothering him 3 weeks before Olympics.
Florida gets Louongo.
I'd like to apologize for my not being in the Kings thread. My plan was good for steps 1-2 (drinking and crashing) it was just the waking up part that got lostHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH LUUUUUUU back to the Panthers. I am dying
His family will be happy!WTF? Why would the Habs get a smurf defenceman? Somebody must be on the move.N8 not good enough yet? Tiny being sent back? I'm confused.
So, he'll be timmy's teammate......awkward.
How come insidredger didn't see all these trades coming? Hahahahahahahahaha.....what a farce he and his ilk are.
insidredger is a two-faced POS and he'll ANALize the trade, give his 2 cents worthless and make it sound like he knew what went down.
whats the matter marry jane
John Couager Melloncamp siging Bob Dlayan there is a ceritian truth to that. Now if only he could was singing on our side and could make a hockey trade. Hey he aint no Bob Dylan but can he play defence?
There are 27 defence man not on waivers that we could have for a fifth rond pick. Never forget our 2014 is still in play.
