No worries, I'd rather get the higher draft pick than get smoked in the first round.

      Go Mooseheads! Go Zach!

  3. IMHO with Vanek its the other teams that panic. DDD is a talent, hard to say how high his ceiling is but its over four feet. Everyone in the world said put VonT on that line, but eMTy took two games to do the obvious. Everyone in the world said do not play the D on their wrong side, now Tinordi is a force, thank you eMTy. Everyone said if this team gets a vapourizer and can avoid drug testing we would be on a new high. Thank you chemistry. For better or worse and on the big screen it always turned out to be a good thing, eMTy is a dirty harry coach. He is a man who realizes his own limitations and projects that upon others. So he has the team not only on the bubble but playing on a bubble. This bubble could break either way, historically or exponentially. I am hoping for the exponential, Look at how many near misses this team has on offense. When we play tic tack toe, its tick tock duh! We should take Legos land and family away from him, that will juice his hockey IQ. We should tell RBQ he is a Weber barbie, not a Napoleon. We should tell Giant never shoot the puck again, you have a shot that reminds us all of the Mexicant, We should tell PFK your the man, there is no plan, just be a motherfuker motherfuker, We should tell Vampire Dan Danny beer, there are still hookers and blow available to champions,
We should bring back Big TiTs mate him with Lego and make gCHuck center on the fourth line, He will chew up the opposition cap friendly warriors. Did I mention TFS. We got a shot so go you fucking habs go.

  4. How could we bring back big TiTs. First replace all the dancers. No need to bring up bad memories. Insist he is on a some coke no alcohol diet, The coke is not going to put you behind in the short term. Fortunately with big TiTs we do no have to worry about him seducing Mr Molson's wife. This is a guy who would have trouble seducing a stack of hay. And I can speak from personal experience its just one prick in a brick of pricks. Yep make him bunk with 29. Hookers and blow only after you win the case. No meth for you.

  5. I completely managed to miss last night's big game! Not intentionally at all - I have just had a lot of work on recently and - to be honest - I fell asleep about 10:30 pm last night. SO I will catch up on Gamecentre later on and comment then...I see that VonT got himself a hattie! That's good - they Habs need more hatties!! And if after 70 games the coach has finally figured out the lines, then we might be in with a shout of having us some fun into May or...dare I suggest...June! Anyway, more after I've seen it for myself.

  7. for what its worth in a world that I do not understand. If your VonT you got some tug at your pull for Austria. There is nothing better than living in Austria as an Austrian, I do not care about who you married and where you went to school to make yourself a better man. The exception to the rule is ARNOILD and his world and how he would advise VonT in the grrand plan; Arnold was a little guy who through sheer force changed the world. Von T is more like Van Gough, he will chew off his ear to avoid publicity. VonT wants and does need publicity, Like most Austrians who moved away, he is uncomfortable with the spotlight and given the fact he could fund a revolution in a small country with hs salary alone, and if this was on the radar screen he could count on many more villains to contribute to a fantastical scheme.

Buy here we exist eight point out of destruction. What seems to the fan a wet pass is in reality a siituaion where professionals pla y lacrosse. Everybosy wants to win, butt you have to admit with but logic something]

    1. Yup but hadn't checked the web as I usually crash out after the game. It is hilariously obvious that they hold back updating when their leaf loses. It is even funnier when they do game preview articles that are nothing but hyped up bullshit recapping only the positives and of course slagging the other team. I will say though, the funniest thing going are the cbc's mike trophy leaf pre and recaps. Pure utter bullshit fandom. No other Canadian team gets that kind of coverage over there. Sick biased fucks.

  10. Just watched the condensed highlights - MoeMan scored a great little goal and I am really impressed with Charger - great efforts like he gave for MoeMan's goal are what the Habs need every night. VonT scoring from the slot I can also get used to - Habs have missed that kind of touch in recent years...long may it continue! Great win and two nice points. Go Habs go! Go Habs go!

  11. @the M, TSN doing the norm - leaf sucking or shielding when they really, really suck. NHL though has no excuse, that may indicate the leaf will get some 'assistance' from buttface via zebras and/or the 'war room' like they have earlier. Carly is scum to throw his goalie under the bus, I guess he thinks that will take focus away from the fact that his team as a whole suck.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. the Maritimer4:16 PM

They were definitely shielding them last night, not one lousy word about the loss, it was like they never even played.

Carlyle sure did throw Reimer under the bus, no love lost there. Reimer will out of Toronto this summer. I think it would be absolutely hilarious if the teams chasing the leaf would knock them out of the playoffs, the tsn and cbc fanboy/mediots would be in misery for weeks if not longer, and making up excuses to excess.

    2. As of right now, their main page is in almost full panic (pun sarcASStically intended) about their leaf goalie(s). They get their entire fucking crew to yip about it. From the dwarfish insidredger, to their leaf hack seigel, the their 'tsn staff', to their radio dweeps, their online video dolts and I'm guessing they will lead with it on sports centre and follow up the suck with gino ragu. Sick fucks.

  13. This is great news:
The health status of Canadiens prospect Tim Bozon has improved significantly over the last several days according to the Star Phoenix newspaper in Saskatoon.

The 19-year-old left the ICU at the University of Saskatoon’s Royal Hospital over the weekend. He is still battling Neisseria meningitis, which mandated that he be admitted to hospital on Mar. 1 before being placed in an artificial coma.

According to his parents, Philippe and Helene, Tim is awake, moving around in his bed and is trying to feed himself and talk. He is currently listed in stable condition.

His loved ones continue to receive incredible support from across the globe which has helped them during this difficult time.

As announced last week, a trust has been created in Tim Bozon’s name by the WHL to help cover the costs of both his medical treatment and rehabilitation. All donations can be sent to:

Tim Bozon Trust c/o Western Hockey League

  14. One of my faves from last night from Reimer's agent, surprised the RT'd, tried posting it on the leaf thread, but they were really not putting anything through - more so than usual, haha.
@markhmasters: RT @RayPetkau: I hadn't heard the post game interviews at that time. If I wanted to stir the pot, that would have been perfect! Nothing to …

@jonasTSN1050: RT @RayPetkau: As is customary in Toronto, when your team plays poor defensively game after game you blame your goalie.

  16. Heh. tsn spends 9 minutes (of 22 if you count commercials, oh wait its leaf commercials) on Reimer. They are losing their collective shit and of course, I love it. Regardless, Reimer, despite his team jersey, seems like a good guy and it is kinda sad to see him get raked BUT he is a leaf and I have no problem with the CotU being shit and shitting on itself. I'm going to re-watch 'The Aristocrats', for shits and giggles.

Apparently (as mentioned over at HI/O) TSN is advertising tonight's game as a chance for their leaf to "lock down" second place in the division. I guess they will awarded three points for a win tonight. Not only are they incapable of writing, but they are incompetent at math as well.

  28. Just finished watching "The Last Gladiators". I had never heard of it but it showed up on The Movie Network today and I DVR'd it. Really excellent. A doc about hockey goons, but it really focused on Chris Nilan. I can't believe I never heard of it before. Worth CHecking out if you haven't seen it. Except for the glaring omission of the John Kordic tragedy, it really handles the subject matter well

  39. A successful hockey team is like a movie set. The GM is the producer but the whole enterprise rests upon the director. In our case its eMTy. I suggest that DDD was given a staring role despite his limitations. The good news is that he has done a credible job. Superplexxxe could have been elevated, Lego could have been discovered, but we got DDD. If you look at the team its not a bad choice. However the team with him as number one center is going to come up short.
