  5. So Shanahan works for the leaf. They had Dryden and they still sucked! The only negative for us is that the leaf become like the broon, favoured and excused by the league. But I'm not sure Shanahan had that much impact during his time there.

  6. Habs magic number for home ice: 3.
Bolts magic number for home ice: 4

Some combination of the Habs/Bolts earning/losing those points. Example: Habs win, Bolts lose in OT. That equals 3. Or Habs lose, Bolts win. That equals 4 for them. Or the Habs win and the Bolts win 2. That also equals 4 for them.

The BJs have been playing lights out recently. Not sure if fatigue will get them, but I'm sure they want to avoid the Pens and broons, and another win will help their cause. I do think home ice is important, and I think they'll actually show up on Saturday.

  9. Bon vendredi sexy mes amis! It's a little bitter after yesterday's crap-o-rama of a game, but moe's fine work takes some sting off at least

  10. This needs to be included in SF, moe. All I can do is a link, but I swear it's legit and worth the time (it involves cats).

  12. Is the vacinne worse than the disease. Our good friends Crankshaft, Cube and Gorgus do some really bad things every time they play. In their case its part of hockey. When PFK fucks up its a federal case. But the non flashy trio combined can not win a game by themselves. PFK has that ability, but our brain trust chooses to crush it, in favour of the low risk play. AHHHHHH

  13. Our playoff strategy is the same its been for 20 years. Hope the goalie stands on his head.

  14. Synchronicity exists in many forums. Right now at the top of the greater sum of existence is Sexy Friday and Vikings. I am about to leave this world of incompressible tedium passing for leadership and enter the sauna of men who had the balls to ask their wife for a threesome with the casual sex person they got pregnant.

    1. an opportunity for 29 here, A pre nup thats is so old school. A couple of pregancy and then the threesome is the future of jurisprudence. Think about it, we need more babies, its a lot to ask of a women to give birth, so sharing that load is just a natural solution to a need.

  15. Congrats to Gio.

On Friday, the Montreal Canadiens announced that the 35 year-old has won the 2013-14 Jacques Beauchamps-Molson Trophy, awarded annually to the member of the Canadiens who played a dominant role during the regular season without earning any particular honours.

  16. Can I not have an opinion. Yes I am a history major. Yes I know more about everything that does not lead to a profitable outcome than everyone. Has there ever been in the history of the NHL a Norris trophy winner that has been beechslaped like PFK. Its a hockey 911, a Rosewell Incident, a mystery for the ages.

    1. I like everybody who has never put on the foil do not understand the code. What part of the code embarrases a Norris trophy winner. Just from a PR standpoint this should never happen. eMTy should pay with his job over this.Of course I could be wrong I got d on the 1834 uprising in India.

  21. I think I got it. PFK is getting an unusual portal examination. So does the Man want to buy him cheap or provide a excuse for selling him off. There is a third scenario, highly skilled hockey professionals want to develop him.

I gotta go with GWB at the joystick playing a video game.

Biggest sports news for the day is, of course, in the CotU. Shanaban will lead the leaf to glory. No word on when Princess Pylon will be traded to Winnipeg for Evander Kane.

  25. If tsn really cared, they would have pulled a pic of Habs hoisting the Cup to replacing their Shitahan story which we'll be bombarded with right through Tuesday.

MONTREAL HAS NATIONAL ATTENTION AS LONE CANADIAN PLAYOFF TEAM

In 1973, the Canadiens were the lone Canadian playoff team and they won the Cup.

They are also the last Canadian team to win a Cup in 1993.

  28. Now we know why Tampa has speed.

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Ryan Malone was arrested early Saturday morning for driving under the influence and possession of cocaine, according to a report in the Tampa Bay Times.

"We are aware of the situation concerning Ryan Malone this morning," Lightning GM Steve Yzerman said in a statement released later Saturday morning. "Ryan will not travel with the team to Washington today, but beyond that we cannot comment further at this time."

Malone didn't play in Tampa Bay's 3-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets Friday, his third straight game listed as a healthy scratch.
