  2. So I've had time to get some positivity back. Woke up on the wrong side of the bed and found it literally on fire a few hours later. Getting reprimanded for rushing home to save valuables didn't add to my mood either.

But here we are hours later and my apartment is still standing (no one seems to have been hurt in the fire next door, though I don't know the full extent of property damage). Perspective is sinking in. Could have been worse.

Habs win next one it's a whole new series. People are throwing out the stat that only one team that has gone down 2-0 at home in the Conference Finals has moved on. Well, here's another stat: No team has ever gone to 7 games in the fist two rounds and won the 3rd. Conclusion: Stats mean jack shit.

Price is out and NBC/NHL is dying for a New York team in the finals. Use that to step it up. Use the 2 days off to gather yourselves and step it up. I believe!

    GO HABS GO!

  3. I shit you not, that rag Bleacher Report's resident Ranger homer just posted an article entitled, "Chris Kreider Quietly a Big Part of New York Ranger's Postseason Surge". Besides being a terrible and rambling title, your only response can be, "REALLY? YOU THINK?" I won't link to it because that moron doesn't deserve the hits.
BR also has a new article declaring that NY has won the goalie duel. Again, YOU THINK? Fucking morons.

  4. I said it earlier, but the fact that both Kreider and Lundqvist (mostly the latter) walked off the ice after G2 without a scratch on them is a big reason why this team hasn't had success in the last couple of decades. I'm all for class and discipline, and I'm not calling for an injury. But did they even get close to that blue paint? Did they put any fear into Lundqvist that there might be retaliation just to get him off his game? No, just take out our gold medal winning goalie and we'll take shots from 30 ft away and high five the culprit after the game. I love our Habs, but they are one of the only teams in the league no one is afraid of, or afraid of "accidentally" injuring.

  5. Teams like the Habs win when their best players are the ones who play the best. Last night the Habs didn't have their best player on the ice.Their best goal scorer scored a goal - that was good. Next up should have been VonT. But where the fuck was he all night? I appreciate that he's looking for a big deal after the playoffs and the Habs are probably not where he'll get it from...but how much closer to a Stanley Cup is he going to get than where he is right now...? in Minnesota?...Come on! He spent most of his career in Buffalo for fuck sake - you'd think he'd step it up a notch or two!

And this series is not over - not yet people! OGAAT!!!

"Many of the new fans the Habs picked up at bandwagon stops along this playoff road have decided to pack up their stuff and jump off now that things are looking grim. Those of us who've punched lifetime tickets are jumping off too. After all, somebody's got to get behind it and push it uphill.

  7. Of course I am not a happy camper and Harper should stay the fuck home instead of tainting our sacred house with his leaf-loving heart - WE DON'T NEED YOU. I still believe they can do this but it will be harder to achieve, having to win 4 of 5 but I believe, it's not over till it's over.
I hope the league will look at Pouliot's boarding (Y) but I doubt it. When asked if there should have been a 5min by 690 that fucking hack dreger said no the 2 min fit the 'crime' and (Y) sold it. Go fuck yourself he was hit in the numbers!
    Go Habs Go!!

Am I a life-long fan of the Montreal Canadiens? Absolutely! Do I think they can still win this series? Probably not, the odds are certainly against them if you look at it realistically. I hope that doesn't make me a bandwagon jumper. The playoffs come down to one thing: goaltending. Unfortunately the Habs caught a bad break when Price got injured, so now for sure the Rangers are favoured to win with an experienced world class goalie in Henry. You've got to figure a young goalie like toker is going to give up 2 or 3 at least per game which means Montreal HAS to score 3 or 4 to win. Tough to do against Henry. Unless he has some kind of meltdown or somebody puts McDonagh out... it's not looking good. But, I'm still a Habs fan.

  11. There’s one important thing that P.K. Subban wants you to know: We’re still in this.

Outshot 41-30 overall, the New York Rangers nevertheless came out with a 3-1 victory at the Bell Centre on Monday night to lead the series 2-0 going back to New York City. Still, P.K. Subban stood up for his teammates’ effort level at the conclusion of Game 2.

“How many times have we hit the net and had a chance to score? Lots of times. We’re not doing anything wrong offensively. We are getting pucks on net and getting bodies in front. We just have to bury our chances. I shot a couple of pucks which got tipped, and it hit Lundqvist’s shoulder and he didn’t even see it. You need a little bounce here and there and it’ll come,” insisted the reigning Norris Trophy winner, who led all players with nine shots on goal in a game-high 29:40 played. Late in the game, Michel Therrien pulled out all the stops in order to close the gap on the scoreboard, double-shifting Subban with dynamic rookie Nathan Beaulieu in an effort to spark the team.

In the post-game interview, P.K. was unequivocal. He wants his fans to know that it gets better.

“As far as we’re concerned, we’re only going to improve. I still don’t think we’ve played our best hockey game,” the defenseman mused. “Since the time I’ve been here, I’ve seen this team been down more than two games, and still come back to win the series. There’s no pressure on us heading to New York, but there’s going to be a lot of pressure on them. We’re optimistic about our opportunities and we’ll be ready to play.”

This is what other teams must feel like when they are up against TFS.
    Frustrating.
I can remember being down 4 or 5 goals late in the game in MSG and yes we won.
So, lets take that to them and Go TOKE-R-Ski Go!!
    What is he 12 ... 14?
    Does he drive?
May be it's just me getting old ... Nahhh, fuck that noise.
    Go Habs

    2. Ok, I need everyone to calm down.

      CALM THE FUCK DOWN!

X-Men is out today in Korea and is showing at the theatre down the road tonight.

      I SAID CALM DOWN!

Hello, I'd like to buy all the tickets, please.

    3. Woohoo! Was finally able to buy a ticket online for the first showing at 6pm! Gives me time to get home, change (wearing a tie today due to several presentations and demo classes, goddammit) and throw some soju into a sprite bottle. I'M SO EXCITED, like Jesse on caffeine pills (pls tell me someone gets that reference).

    4. I saw X-Men. Should I consult a doctor? I've had an erection for over 4 hours now. God bless Asia, there was a guy a couple of rows in front of me with a camera helmet filming it. I would be outraged if I didn't depend on pirates for things we don't get here.

  15. leaf fans, with yet another spring with nothing to do, have decided to slag on the Habs and run hatchet jobs.

Yes, Gio, a vet with absolutely no history of dirty plays, decided to blindly, one in a million shot, take out a back up goalie of a non-playoff team in a nothing game that was already in hand in the middle of the season. YOU GOT HIM!

I had to grow up around this. Everyday. From everyone. It's like living around Fox News morons who think everyone is trying to get rid of Christmas.

  16. Just for fun I went to that PPP article and posted this. "If you pause the Reimer video at the :43 second mark, you'll see that Reimer is outside of the blue paint and Gionta is well outside and trying to avoid him. If anything, Reimer should have received 2 minutes for tripping Gionta with his head."

I want to see if they bite or recognize sarcasm. Well maybe it's not sarcasm, but obviously not a serious comment.

The National Embarrassment showed proof that Lucy was provoked by that dirty rotten Vodkov in the handshake line.
No mind beaner thug standing up for no mind beaner thug. How happy are we that we get to pay his salary.
I wanna see puck going in the NY net tomorrow. I'm in a New York state of mind.

    1. So the fucking pinheaded crotch first says there's nothing wrong will threatening another player in a handshake line, then he says he was provoked. Just typical Hbas bashing excuses from the sick fucks. (Some say all Vodkov suggested to Lucic to 'look a player in the eye when shaking his hand'). cvc/hnic, nothing but a bunch of classless, smug pieces of shit.
