  5. Can one Hab receive one pass cleanly. Just once.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Patches misses the pass, it's icing. Thanks man.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Way to stay outside and play safe, Patches!

  8. CBC is really trying to compare this series to the epic leaf collapse last year. It's not even near the same thing. But that's how they try to protect their leaf.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Are they trying to lose? This is embarrassing.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Huge son on Boston missed shot. "JUST MISSED! That was going to be pretty." W.T.F!

  11. Down by 2, yet it's always a weak one man forecheck.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Do they realize there's no point in playing the puck behind the net if no one goes to the front?

  13. As long as there is time on the clock, there is still hope.

  16. Notice how when there's a scoring chance, the broons crash their own goalie or push a Hab into him.

    ReplyDelete
  17. RBQ seems to have returned to his usual ineffectual self.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Their worst game of the playoffs. Boys need to look in the mirror.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Empty net with 5 minutes left. What am I watching?

    1. It's the "Roy" emulation, all the teams are doing it.

      Delete
  20. From the beginning, not intensity, no will to win.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Seems like all teams are now doing the 'Roy" pulling the goalie early, backfired on him a few times, let's hope that's not the case tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I'm not giving up on the series just yet, but whether the Habs advance or not, I think I can safely make these two statements:
    1) PK will get a giant payout. It best be from Mr Molson. Give him whatever he wants.
    2) Vanek. Thanks for a bit of year end excitement. And for showing us how you perform in the playoffs. Minnesota can give you your 7.5 or whatever it is you're supposed to be worth.

    1. agree on both VonT is a great regular season guy but unless he is injured he sure conserves his energy on the ice

  23. CASH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  24. Bartkowski is PK's best friend.

    ReplyDelete
  25. WTF does Miller find it necessary to fucking hit someone after the goal is scored?

  26. Great to see this intensity down by 3 with 3 minutes left...

    1. The cockroaches think it's hilarious though. The 'antics' of those naughty Bruins.

    2. Could you imagine if it was the other way? CBCTSN would treat it like 9/11.

    3. Didn't he throw a water bottle at a fan and should have been ejected from the game in 2010 i/o scoring that toe goal? or am I just senile?

    4. *2011* game 7.

      Delete
    5. I just can't imagine anymore. It's like when they showed a whole bit on Marchand's dirty little pokes and slashes among other things he does EVERY shift and they laughed and laughed, lovingly calling him a pesky little bugger. Imagine if that was PK.

      Delete
    6. As Pang said, PFK has to learn to do it the 'white way'.

      Delete
  28. Well, considering they never showed up until the 57 minute mark, only losing by two is something. I guess. /shrug

    ReplyDelete
  29. Sad effort. Patches is useless, RBQ back to RBQ. Lego not connecting. DDD way too small. Gio looks bored. Much more intensity needed for G6.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Gio burned while lost in the middle of the ice on the last two. Not sure which cockroach it was last game, saying the Habs need to try to lock him up again. Now I know why.

  30. Jesus, TSN already have the article up! Celebrating that the broons are "Only one game away from winning!" Due to the time difference, I'm up all day after games. I usually have to wait at least half an hour to an hour for an article after a Habs win, and about 3-4 hours for full highlights on TSN.

    ReplyDelete
  31. TSN: "BRUINS HANDLE CANADIENS, ONE WIN AWAY FROM SERIES VICTORY"
    Thanks, we can't do math.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Funny, the article is up celebrating the win, but PK's goal hasn't made it there yet.

  33. Crotch says Pleks is the jerk of jerks for sitting in the box with his leg up. What?

    1. But throwing water on a guy during play is "playoff hockey". They're such bawston homers.

      Delete
  34. Well, I had a bad feeling about this one and now an even worse one about the next one. I thought who ever won G4 would win the series, and I didn't see much tonight to convince me otherwise. Maybe they can pull it off at home, but I don't see 2 in a row. Especially if Clod keeps his lips firmly on the refs' dicks.

    1. so far only game 3 we deserved to win and lost on a bad bounce. Nope it does not look good and next year we will not be better. I say next game put Danny Beer back in, and NB instead of Murray, lets try and outskill them while we have a chance. At least lets see what NB can do in a big game.

    2. Why hasn't BlanCHe played? When Weise started, that trio was on fire.

  35. no kidding that game was so bad it burned out my video card, lost it about ten mintues into the third only got back up with my back up now.

  36. Apparently, the league will be 'looking' at the 'Thortongate' water incident. Yeah, right.

    1. Just in from the official but of Buttman, but but if we do not call ratface for every crosscheck after the whistle do you really expect us to penalize a broon for a little good fun,

  37. And so as a veil of depression sinks over the throng of Hab fans from coast to coast I bid this disheartening loss adiu and look forward to the redemption of Monday.

  40. Clod post game. He only heard about this water bottle situation, so he can't confirm that it actually happened. He doesn't tolerate or support that sort of thing. But again, he didn't see it so it probably didn't happen.

    ReplyDelete
  41. After the bawston fans throwing bottles at him and the racist attacks, if the NHL wanted to send a message Thorton would be suspended. As such, I don't expect anything to happen and for the media to laugh it off. It's like 1954 Memphis.

    1. Thornton squirting water at PK during a play from the bench, to me, is the equivalent of a fan throwing a water bottle at him which condones his fans actions and influences them to do it again in the future.

  43. survey says, eMTy no longer a genius, Crankshaft no longer turning, Giant playing up to his size, DDD back to being a small smurf, Patches and VonT saving water because they dont need to shower after the game. RBQ thinking "yeah four playoff goals thats enough" (Y) cant turn, Vodkov playing hungover, Charger is the rusty 1970's edition with gummy four barrel. And Colberg is once again the best player not playing in the NHL,and this years second round of draft prospect the greatest ever, better than the first round picks by far.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I dont think VonT is happy playing with SuperpleXXXe and a rookie. Might be an idea to put Vampire Dan there instead?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Shockingly, the TSN panel doesn't like Thorton's move. On top of that, they agreed with PK's statement that if he did it it would be a story for 3 days. Wow. Meanwhile the 690 crew laughed it off and have been gushing over the broons for the last hour. Can't have it all. Hard to find English language media that concentrates on the Habs, even if that's their raison d'etre.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Important to note here is that English media (690, TSN) all have the same employer -Bell Media.

    2. I saw the Mcsplooge was at the game and very close to Thortongate, be interesting what he has to say on Melnick on Monday, he's a broon lover, but he should have heard what was going on.

  46. Oh nos guys! Thorton may face a fine!
    http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=451809

Don't fine him, don't suspend him. Just make the refs do their jobs for once. Yeah right.

  47. Pretty funny, after the Kings change goalies in the 2nd:

"The combined age between the pipes is now 44. Compare that to Team Selanee who is 43." I'd take one Selanne any day of the week, though.

  48. Feeling wired so just thought I'd pop in to say...

    FUCK LUCIC
    FUCK THORNTON
    FUCK DA BRUINS
    FUCK DREGER
    FUCK PUCK DADDY

I want nothing more than to see those fools STFU. GAME 7 FTW!

    /passes out till noon

  49. What I find funny is that many pundits predicted a 7 game series, as did many of us. Habs win G1, they said it'd be 7. Habs win G3, they insisted it'll go 7. Now almost all of them are declaring the series over. But that's fine. The broons get way over-confident and it screws them over. That's what happened in G3 and the Habs dictated the pace. It'll happen again in G6. Now, we still need at least a few guys to show up and score (besides PK) and go to the front of the net (besides Gkid). I think they can take G6. I believe they can. G7 will be tough, though. But one game at a time.
