The 5 week old pug is my daughter's new baby Marcel. I'm finally a gramps!
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable! I can relate, just walked my 'granddoggie', though we don't know her exact age as my daughter rescued her from a shelter. We have a whole month of bonding while her master is on European vacay.
DeleteGreat SF moeman, as per usual.
Marcel is a boy pug.
DeleteAbsolutely, my apologies, I posted, it disappeared and I re-posted incorrectly.
DeleteAs always Moeman - A fantastic SF. Can we please get PFK and Lego signed FFS! All this dragging it out bullshit is wearing thin.
ReplyDeleteGo Habs Go!!
Congratulations Moeman on being a Gramps. Your a people that we want to fill the steeple. The future belongs to Marcel.
ReplyDeleteI have just finished the novel 2312. Your granddaughter is sure to live some versions of this. Seriously we need to take action today to give our biological or metaphysical grandchildren a place to play.
Marcel is a boy, how ignorant of me. Still a great name,.]\
Deletenot human no reason to discriminate That is the final frontier, love the mosquito because it need you,.
DeleteComing soon to the NHL?

Was about to complain about the missing Argentina SF... and there they are! Those didn't make it to the RSS feed.
ReplyDeleteR.I.P. The Ramones.
ReplyDeleteRIP what Band!
Delete‘Of the 50 players invited to the Habs’ suburban practice facility this week, only 10 are under six feet (and four of those players are listed at 5 foot 11). All of the 17 defencemen in camp are six feet or taller, and only four are lighter than the NHL average weight of 203.1 pounds’
ReplyDeleteThere is no way we can win with these big clodhoppers, small skilled players are the way to go
Poor BG, the league sure pulled the wool over his eyes after the first lockout when speed and skill were being trumpeted as the winning formula. Boston and Philthy said fuck that and Bettman and his cronies bought into the NASCAR game, leaving BG seriously out gunned with a MG Midget going up against 426 Hemi Road Runners.
DeleteBergevin, coming from the Western conference, knows what weapons he needs and is slowly gathering them up.
The new favorite word in Taranna Sports. Patience, which is Tranna means yes we are tanking, we have a whole staff of tank commanders. Buffalo cant hold a tank to us.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Grandpa moe, he's adorable!
ReplyDeleteMerci Kate.
DeleteIn a serendipitous development I was thinking aboot the pic of the day.Not Vespa but beast.
ReplyDeletePFK we hardly knew ya! Its offical following in the footsteps of LeBron James, PFK and Steve Stamkos will be playing for the leaf as soon as there mommy comes home.
ReplyDeleteWhen asked in June to supply a list of 15 teams he would accept to be traded to, Letang had the Habs on the list.
ReplyDeleteI suppose players are routinely asked at season's end? I hope Montreal fans don't get too excited over this.
No thank you.
DeleteAgreed, no thanks.
Deletefor all the crap and crap and crap this franchise has gone through it remains a jewel in the crown. Thank the fans, and thank the people of Quebec. Both have managed to shine turds into seashells.
DeleteI bow to the parody King:

Letang? Maybe at a buyout discount. Might be more overrated that céline pha9 dion.
ReplyDeleteAny PFK News? Any Lego News? ANY FUCKING HOCKEY NEWS?
ReplyDeleteno but in the immortal words of Kurt Vonnegut Jr this is a time for farting around,
DeleteAnd of course I could not resit speculating the reason the world is so fucked up is because so many children know about the back door,
DeleteI never knew that Brian May was an astrophysicist.

I knew that. Did you know that James Cameron was also in that genre. My son is on that path, and one thing they see is a big universe.
DeleteThe putrid leaf want to host the 2017 All Star Game, the Amateur Draft, the Winter Classic to celebrate their 100th anniversary.....they will always be second to Montreal. Their CEO says Toronto is the greatest hockey city with the greatest fans on Planet Earth. You just keep believing that Mr. L. Somebody, someday may believe that as well.
ReplyDelete'Somebody. someday" .... not me and not in my lifetime and not outside the gta.
DeleteAnybody that comes to this website would just laugh at them. I am just amused by the hubris of the leaf... who are legends in their own minds.
DeleteWow.
DeleteAll of that hockey shit centered in the armpit of Canada.
Lets watch and see if Buttman bends over for the leaf.
Should be interesting.
Go Habs

RIP Johnny Winter.
ReplyDeleteBTW if anyone has a link to the Wedding Song, I think it was by Johnny or maybe Edgar. I have looked for it without avail for years. Sometimes spending three maybe four minites every time I see mention of Johnny or Edgar.
R.I.P.
DeleteI did go to see Edgar Winter at the Forum back in the day.
DeleteGreat article on The Bird at EOTP.
ReplyDeleteCareer plus 730.
You can talk about Nik and B Orr and it would be a nice talk.
However when The Bullies came to town you didn't see B Orr or Nik beating the shit out of Shultz or putting Dornhopper into the boards so hard it made a dent.
It was a travesty that they took so long to retire 19 and also that when he knocked on the door for coaching he was told to go away. Having him behind the bench if you are a young guy coming up you are gonna listen.
Major errors. I remember him playing like it was yesterday.
Someday when I get one of those overpriced Hab jerseys it will be number 19.
RIP JW. We had some great times together, you, me, my headphones and lots of beer.
Go Habs
For the life of me, I will never understand why they didn't welcome him with open arms and a coaching job and jump for fucking joy that he even considered it.
Deleteno seasame st CHaracter allowed
DeleteFor all you DDD detractors, shameful creatures that you are. This should bring you up short. Tyler Ennis has signed a five year deal for $23 million. DDD is not half bad at his small salary.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather have Nathan Gerbe.
DeleteMONTREAL -- Patrice Brisebois is leaving the Montreal Canadiens for personal reasons, a source tells The Canadian Press.
ReplyDeleteBrisebois, who has served as director of player development for the past two years, told general manager Marc Bergevin of his intentions earlier this week, the source said.
The 43-year-old Montreal native played 16 of his 18 NHL seasons for the Habs. Between Montreal and the Colorado Avalanche he played 1,009 career games.
Who let the Breezer out of HF33's trunk?
ReplyDeleteBrezzzer was jelous of PFK holding him back it part of PFK's new package, pick your own coaches, to some extent.
