    1. She's adorable! I can relate, just walked my 'granddoggie', though we don't know her exact age as my daughter rescued her from a shelter. We have a whole month of bonding while her master is on European vacay.
Great SF moeman, as per usual.

  3. Congratulations Moeman on being a Gramps. Your a people that we want to fill the steeple. The future belongs to Marcel.
I have just finished the novel 2312. Your granddaughter is sure to live some versions of this. Seriously we need to take action today to give our biological or metaphysical grandchildren a place to play.

  7. ‘Of the 50 players invited to the Habs’ suburban practice facility this week, only 10 are under six feet (and four of those players are listed at 5 foot 11). All of the 17 defencemen in camp are six feet or taller, and only four are lighter than the NHL average weight of 203.1 pounds’

There is no way we can win with these big clodhoppers, small skilled players are the way to go

Poor BG, the league sure pulled the wool over his eyes after the first lockout when speed and skill were being trumpeted as the winning formula. Boston and Philthy said fuck that and Bettman and his cronies bought into the NASCAR game, leaving BG seriously out gunned with a MG Midget going up against 426 Hemi Road Runners.

Bergevin, coming from the Western conference, knows what weapons he needs and is slowly gathering them up.

  12. When asked in June to supply a list of 15 teams he would accept to be traded to, Letang had the Habs on the list.
I suppose players are routinely asked at season's end? I hope Montreal fans don't get too excited over this.

The putrid leaf want to host the 2017 All Star Game, the Amateur Draft, the Winter Classic to celebrate their 100th anniversary.....they will always be second to Montreal. Their CEO says Toronto is the greatest hockey city with the greatest fans on Planet Earth. You just keep believing that Mr. L. Somebody, someday may believe that as well.

BTW if anyone has a link to the Wedding Song, I think it was by Johnny or maybe Edgar. I have looked for it without avail for years. Sometimes spending three maybe four minites every time I see mention of Johnny or Edgar.

Great article on The Bird at EOTP.
    Career plus 730.
You can talk about Nik and B Orr and it would be a nice talk.
However when The Bullies came to town you didn't see B Orr or Nik beating the shit out of Shultz or putting Dornhopper into the boards so hard it made a dent.
It was a travesty that they took so long to retire 19 and also that when he knocked on the door for coaching he was told to go away. Having him behind the bench if you are a young guy coming up you are gonna listen.
Major errors. I remember him playing like it was yesterday.
Someday when I get one of those overpriced Hab jerseys it will be number 19.
RIP JW. We had some great times together, you, me, my headphones and lots of beer.
    Go Habs

  25. MONTREAL -- Patrice Brisebois is leaving the Montreal Canadiens for personal reasons, a source tells The Canadian Press.

Brisebois, who has served as director of player development for the past two years, told general manager Marc Bergevin of his intentions earlier this week, the source said.

The 43-year-old Montreal native played 16 of his 18 NHL seasons for the Habs. Between Montreal and the Colorado Avalanche he played 1,009 career games.
