  1. Wow Pernel Fucking Sexy Friday!
Heard Joey Alfiere on the radio and he said Broons fans went nuts on twitter, he said some homophobic - I guess they learned not to use the other thing, well maybe for a awhile anyway.

  6. You know...we've all been saying "in DGMB we trust" since he came on board...but I am starting to seriously wonder if his ego has gotten the better of him when it comes to PFK. He passed on locking him down long term two years ago and now he has done it again. Is it a case of "there's not room enough for them both" (especially when you add the fact that the coach has no time for him either) or is it a case that DGMB doesn't rate PFK as a defenseman. He doesn't play the style of d that DGMB played either so that is going against him. So we get another two years of this shit and then PFK is gone...JUST FUCKING GREAT.!

Great SF Moeman btw - nice ones all round!

  8. Dammit Jim I am History Major not an NHL General Manager. I can not think of any cases that went to arbitration at age 25 that did not end in divorce. PFK is done in Montreal. DGMB liked him but was not willing to bet his job on him. I expect a blockbuster trade before training camp. Huberdeau may be comming home after all,.

Well, you go away for a few days and are internet-less and.... Wow!

It will be too bad if Les Canadiens and PK can't come to an agreement on a new deal but for me it's not a big deal. Many, many players have come and gone wearing the bleu, blanc et rouge. In the end, I am a Habs fan. That is what is most important to me. If, and it's looking as if it will happen, the Habs have to trade PK, I won't feel as bad as when they traded Kirk Muller and Patrick Roy. Those two trades had built up an immunity, for me anyway, to any distress I would feel about any player being moved.

PK and his agent need to throttle back their demands. PK is not yet worth what some of the bigger name defencemen are being paid. He should accept a 5 or 6 year deal with an AAV of about 6.5 mil. Either that or move on to another team. The Montreal Canadiens will go on with or without him. That's just reality.

    ReplyDelete

    1. the Maritimer9:52 PM

He should just accept whatever Kris Letang or Erik Karlsson are making. That's where PK slots in.

Great SF, btw, moe....and I missed Wet Wednesday.

    2. I feel the same way. Every player has a role. Who is to say another big shot from the point will not rack up PFK points on the PP. Nygrn. I get the sense that PFK bigger than the team, Tiger Woods Micheal Jordan act was starting to become a distraction,

  11. I cant believe I missed the fifth element. Speaking of Luc Besson, has anyone seen Lucy? I look forward to going to my friends house to watch when its in DVD quality on the internet. I just saw Winter Soldier. Written by Edward Snowden. Snow den wrote Winter Soldier.

  13. I am going to go out on a limb. You know what the difference is between love and hate? Sometimes its possession based. I would love for PFK to be a Canadian for life. Should he choose not to be I will hate him, Good luck to you motherfucker in Edmonton Cagaray or working for the leaf.I am sure DGMB offered him something any Habs fan would take in a heartbeat.

A key element of our group of young veterans, P.K. plays with a high level of intensity every time he steps onto the ice. Despite his young age, he carries a great deal of experience and brings contagious energy to the team. Defensemen of his level are a rare commodity in the NHL” said Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin.

  36. Historically, the comparable salary arbitration case that sticks out is Shea Weber's, who was awarded an NHL-record $7.5-million in the summer of 2011. Here's where things get a bit dicey for Canadiens brass: In 2013-14, Subban outproduced 2010-11 Weber, his club went further in the postseason, and he clearly has more "special qualities" of "public appeal."

Wow, you're out of the loop for another 24 hours and BAM! GMMB makes a splash like a Right whale breaching in the Bay of Fundy! That is some serious fucking coin for a young defenceman that his own coach doesn't care much for. This has to be a Mr. Molson initiative, at least he recognizes talent when he sees it.

So I guess this means the CotU mediots can move on to their Steven Stamkos or John Tavares wet dreams and leave PK alone. Unless it is to trash him for some transgression against the old, white NHL dogma.

Does MB and the Habs have any cap space left? I think PK was #23.

    2. Per Renaud Lavoie, TVA Signing bonuses too $25.5M worth, nmc and ntc. Wow, some contract. Sorry it's en francais.

      http://tvasports.ca/hockey/canadiens/subban-255-m-en-bonis-3082014

The transformative sniper became the first player in NHL history to score 50 goals in a single season, accomplishing the feat as a 23-year-old during the 1944-45 season. It took 16 years before Bernie "Boom Boom" Geoffrion matched that feat (in 14 additional games).
