  8. Savard endorses PFK for captain, when Nilan asked him who he thought should be captain he asked Nilan who was the best player in the playoffs,? says it brings responsibility, you can't be late for games, meetings, you have to lead on the ice, you have to speak up at the right time, it could make you an even better player. Though he prefers it would be via player vote like in his day.

  13. Excellent SF Moeman. I liked the dancing on the table pic. I once frequented a bar that encouraged that kind of behavior. When I went to other places it caused trouble. Soon the only bar that I could go t was the former.

I have low expectations for this season
Veznia, Rookie of the year, Norriss, Richard and Hart will all have a CH on them.

  14. Pierre LeBrun of ESPN reports:

What possibly could also be part of a World Cup announcement - although it depends on the timing of it over the next few months - is the return of the Premiere Games. The NHL hopes to have regular-season games back across the pond next season, but no firm details are finalized on that front.

The Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks played a pair of games in London, England to start the 2007-08 season and kick off the European series. No fewer than 18 additional games were played over the next four years in Sweden, Czech Republic, Finland and Germany.

The last of the Premiere Games were played on Oct. 8, 2011 - the Buffalo Sabres beat the Kings 4-2 in Berlin, and the Anaheim Ducks defeated the New York Rangers 2-1 (SO) in Stockholm.

RDS is included in the French package, but TVA sports can be chosen on it's own for 2.95, or can be added as part of the Variete Plus package. Both the French, and the Variete Plus packages cost 5 dollars each

So for $7.95/mo I can get all the Habs games. I already get SNE, City and the cockroaches (do they still have games?) I justify the extra cost by talking them down well below their advertised cost of their bundles. Still hurts to give them that extra cash though...

Its all TFS all the time, and this year he might have a support cast that will take this team down the time tunnel that is so worn with cups. We are contenders from the gate, Stephen Hawking has some string theory and I think at the end of the universe they will find a t shirt. It has CH on the chest, what does that mean to the pastafarians? Talk like a pirate day is close, I hope I do not miss it.

  34. I didn't realize they didn't air pre-season games.
The Colorado Avalanche have never bothered to show a preseason game on television since the team moved from Quebec City nearly two decades ago, but that is about to change this season.

The Avalanche will televise the team's preseason game against the Montreal Canadiens on September 26 on Altitude. The game will be played at the Colisee in Quebec City, where the Nordiques played before moving to Colorado.

The Government has basically ignored it until last week because they didn't figure anyone would be stupid enough to actually vote yes...now that the polls say it's too close to call, they are all up in Scotland and promising to throw open the vaults and give them whatever they want to stay. It's just madness! All I know is that I will be waking up on Friday morning to a very different "United" Kingdom, no matter what the result.
