#Habs Dale Weise pretty much trashes hockey analytics. I asked him what's the most important stat in the game: "Wins."

  3. During live presser and Q&A with Goodell, someone screamed DON'T MAKE ME GO IN THE ELEVATOR a few times. Reporter addressing Goodell (sp) says 'I had nothing to do with that.'

  4. Happy SF everyone and Toller in the leaf is just politically incorrect. NTTTAWT. I love how donut boy remains buoyant, and if PFK had one of his nibbles the hockey world would go chocolate.
Do not drag people into the hole you are in,but the leaf never listened to Bob.

  6. Weird how both snet and cbc have no web articles about the leaf #122 rank/stink.

  7. Great SF Moeman - nice ones all round. Today is my birthday and I thank you for all the birthday mammeries! People want to make a big deal about the day but I tell them that 50 is only a number. I feel fantastic and touch wood everyday for all I have. And I have SF to keep me even younger - so thank you Moman. You are truly special! Go Habs go! Go Habs go! Go Habs go!

Good morning and a belated happy birthday to Mr. KmaXXX, our transplanted Canadian now British comrade in arms! Congrats on the big Five OH, the bigger Six Oh is rapidly staring me in the face. Just sayin'. I still train in karate, walk the golf course 3 times a week and even took to cycling a bit this summer. I've got no intentions of slowing down anytime soon.

    5. Happy Birthday KmaXXX, I am six years past that and honestly still feel and think like sixteen.

  9. We are going to need our own training camp to bring us collectively up to game speed. The exception is Moeman who can do it all with his great vision. Also I will give a pass to 29 who has that learned to ride a bicycle once is enough skill broad-based.

My comment counts are way down, and I dont think I can ever regain my top six status. I am worried about KmaXXX, the grueling international toil has to be hard on that old body. ,Can he handle the late nights anymore, that's the biggest question for the upcoming season? Maritimer is steady and for this blog incredibly stable all year long. Juce is also a vet you can always count on. Oranageman completely took the summer off. Sure he has the talent for that but I expect it will show in the first quarter, Not to say he is alone there, most of the core took the summer off, Moey and Chester are the only ones I can remember that saw more ice than Doughnut Boy.

My biggest concern is the same as Bob Cold, player identification. Right now I am at the guy in red forward I think zone..
I love to say collectively. The reason being it is a NSA keyword. Yep as fast as I can keystroke some analyst who makes six figures is not trying to figure out the threat from a blog comment about hockey. I just suggest collectively we need a refresher on who the hell is playing. Plus we have many new faces. P.A Partenu, is suggest Hey You, because of the Public Announcement. De la Rose I say Seal for the song. Angrittio I say Bird for Angry Bird. Sekec, could be little plex, or Sexic.
Plus Dutch Gretzky how many remember he is Chip for Chippendale. In Nathan Beleidue BO? or Beau?

Who is going to make this team? Nyqyill the guy who cant sleep in Hamilton? We need a player called fuel station so we can get to the finals.

Like every other person who wears the tinfoil proudly I am not without fear. When you throw enough darts recklessly what happens if you hit a bulls eye? I am going to be sincere here for a moment. I never want to hit a bulls eye. Furthermore every time I write everything I try to miss the target,

Is it Parenteau or Peledeau? This could be a key question as he is neither left wing nor right wing but subject to whichever way a favourable wind blows.

A Rose by any name is still a Rose. The "de La" is a smoke screen to throw off the Pequistes, they'll never see a french speaking Swede coming...Angry...Little PleXXXe...N8...TinMan...eMpTy...CHip = "Man Living On Borrowed Time". Lucy and the Ape are coming.

  11. The NHL players who survived the 2012-13 NHL lockout are set to receive their compensation.

The first of three annual "transition payments" will reportedly be added to the paycheques of each player who sat throughout the NHL lockout two years ago, according to Sportsnet.

The report adds that players will receive $190,000 per every $1 million in lost base salary in three installments awarded on the first paycheque of each of the next three seasons.

Pittsburgh Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby, who was slated to earn $7.5 million that season, will earn $1.425 million split across three seasons as part of the program.

As FHFer's may or may not know, there is a provincial election today in New Brunswick. I've never heard the word "frack" so much the last few weeks since I watched Battlestar Galactica.

I did my duty today and stuck it to the MAN.

  16. Too bad I didn't get tix for tonight, would have been awesome to walk the Habs receiving line.
When they started giving them away, I called CT to see if they had them and was assured they did, left right away, took me about 15-20 to get there and they told me they had just given the last ones away. Since I don't have a car, I didn't want to try other locations and suffer the same result.

  20. LP that is Sekec. Little Pleks the star of the red and white, No matter what SuperPleXXX future history is we can all agree he is the one of the greatest Canadians during our dark years, with brief interludes of blinds open. So to pass the torch I would like to see some acknowledgement of his turtleneck.

I can say anything my demented little brain can transfer to the keyboard without fear as long as I do not advocate for fucking young children or blowing up unionstation or beheading random consumers. I got to say there are some commuters I would want to behead in a non serious world. If we were playing a game I have yet to patent called commuter, it would be an accepted fact.
