  1. Congrats to all of this year’s HHoF inductees. I’m not so sure referees should be there but I digress as some did the right thing on the ice, sometimes when too many men were there. Otherwise, meh for the striped jersey wearers.

Now to the real workers, all worthy for their career accomplishments. A relatively good class of 2014, PPGs, years played, country they were born in. All good. Player-wise, kudos to Hasek, a late bloomer, no innovator but a true classic of style and substance.

Style and substance behind the bench, now that was Pat Burns. I’m a Gatineau guy (for having lived and living there). He’s a legend here and he deserves it. I met him thrice. Twice as a hockey fan, once on a motorbike ride. He liked my all black fucking loud Yamaha. The man had some kind of fierce energy. We saw it when he coached our Habs. I can only imagine what he could have done with DGMB’s team. Life goes on. Merci Pat.

Wait, wait, you kids think the stupid city of Toronto gets off easy here? Please and FFS! How fucking low has the celebration and respect for our game’s best gotten to when it is more about them and their putrid, sickening city and worse, team. The HHoF does not deserve to be in that blue and white shithole. What a fucking joke! I guess I can blame the other generational butt-o-jokes, the PQ party. No other reason why all things NHL HQ are in that town of smoke, pigs and cabbage. (That combo should sound tasty). How fucking pathetic to have an annual HHoF ONLY there. To have a manufactured leaf ‘all-star’ vs. HHoFers game? Dan Daoust and Peter Ing? Really? Really? Fuck off! There’s karma brewing bitches.

Also, get Carbo into the HHoF before cujo. Please and thank you.

  2. Its time for some justice. When Montreal comes to town the local rink is full and the southern cash registers ring for once. Yet when Montreal wants a free agent the tax differential is punative. For example it will cost PAP almost $350,000 a year to play for the Habs. Its not fair. I suggest that the cap must be adjusted to take into account local taxes. And the Tea Party teams have to give some of that Hab boxoffice back!

  3. A damn disgrace that it took so long for Pat Burns to become a member of the HHOF.

  4. Nice HHoF rant moe - couldn't agree more about that classless city and organization.

Now I see the Habs begin another 4 games in 6 nights (all tough matchups) before 4 days off to rest up for the Sabres. WTF is up with the schedule maker this year? I can only assume he resides in that same aforementioned shithole of Toronto - though the leaf and leaffools will have you believe they have the worse schedule in the history of hockey.

Anyway, time to clip some wings. Penguins don't need them anyway. You know what I'm liking about the Pens. Malkin's mean streak. Did you see that hit on Girardi (i think it was) on the weekend? He'd look pretty damn fine in the CH in my books. Just sayin'.

Was reading about Buttman and his plans for expansion into Vegas.
Of course this makes sense to Buttman.
Vegas is comprised of a large stable non-transient population with a very high percentage of rabid hockey fans.
As we all know it contains a state of the art hockey arena where naturallment all the leagues of junior and amature up and coming hockey players and organizations are centered.
Wow. There was no need for this silly little NY lawyer to prove his homer stupidity, we all know about it, but seriously this takes the gateau.
Bring on the large flightless birds !
    Fuck you Sidney The Whiner.
Fuck Hogtown and all things associated with it.
And finally fuck all things not Hab.
    Go Habs

The mediots will be lapping this up. It'll "prove" them right that the Habs aren't actually a good team. Because no good teams lose, ever. Like the Pens 5-0 loss to the Rags last week or the Ducks' 6-2 loss to the Panthers this weekend. Didn't happen. Good teams never lose.

  81. Patches is widely quoted as saying "DDD is the best hockey player I have ever played with" Well that is one of those "play it again Sam" miscontruesions. What Patches actually said was" per inch he is the best hockey player I have ever played with"

If DDD does not play like he is 5"7" he is ineffective. Some nights he can reach this height, but he cant do it 82 games a year. LA needs to dump salary in the body of Mike Richards. DDD would be a perfect fit in LA. As you know many LA superstars are short, Tom Cruise, Slyverster Stallone etc.

However I am not in favour of making a mostor trade and losing a core player, picks and prospects to get a real first line center. We are just going to have to wait and pray on gCHuck. If DDD has to be a placeholder for a short time, we should all have a tiny bit of patience.

Compared to Pittsburgh last night our D was dreadful. On D we should be fine, we wear missing Dreamweaver, PFK has not found fourth gear let alone fifth yet, and Bo and Tin Tin are going to be very soldid if not spectactular by the time the playoffs come.

Some fucking douche at the local Cage was on some kind of power trip and playing mind games or something. couldn't hear the game because the volume was so low - I think I even heard a fork piercing a french fry. We politely asked our server to turn up the volume a little bit and it took at least 5 mins.
Second period, the volume was down again and we politely asked, again, if they could turn it up a little, they did but hardly at all, so we asked again and our server said they misunderstood, they thought she asked them to turn it down, so they turned it up again.
3rd period. Same fucking shit, this time they turned it up, then 5-10 minutes later they put the volume really low. At this point I was really not a happy camper (not that I was earlier, but now I'm seething) because it's obvious someone is having fun with the volume control. My friend gets up, goes to the bar and asks them if they're fini de niaise (fucking around) and the douchebag simply answers no one's fooling around and walks away, maybe 5-10 minutes left in the 3rd it finally and strangely enough it gets left at the one level.
    They won't see me again.
