  2. Fucking Matt Moulson! He always plays big against the Habs. He always killed them when he was an islander too. I fucking hate Matt Moulson! Go habs go! Go Habs go!

  3. Montreal Canadiens defenceman Alexei Emelin was fined just over $11,000 on Saturday for his hit to the head of former teammate Brian Gionta Friday night’s loss to the Buffalo Sabres.

    Go fuck yourselves DoP.

    1. I second that. It was barely a questionable hit.

  4. Hodge is a fucking slimebucket mediot piece of shit.

"Thumbs down to the Montreal Canadiens, whose general manager Marc Bergevin was praised when he unloaded the contracts of Travis Moen and Rene Bourque for two players unsigned beyond this season, Sergei Gonchar and Bryan Allen. Well, Bergevin must tackle a larger task to maintain his reputation as one of the NHL's shrewdest front-office bosses--he has to decide what's wrong with his team, because something is wrong.
The standings say otherwise when they place the Habs at the top of the Eastern Conference, and the 16 wins that got them there include some impressive performances. But the seven losses in regulation time are a large gravy stain on the CH crest. In those seven games, the Canadiens have managed to score a grand total of four goals. It looks like a misprint, and so does the number of goals allowed in those 60-minute defeats--32. Bergevin has shown he can get rid of contracts, but now he has to identify and get rid of a problem, whatever it is."

  5. You can just bet the whining julie is going to over this and jacobs will be knocking on buttman's door.

"Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Dalton Prout will live forever.

The 24-year-old sent Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic to the ice with one punch on Nov. 21, and Prout's been receiving thank you letters from across North America, shaking hands with strangers and kissing babies ever since.

A night later in Philadelphia, Prout was spoken to by two men who never give him the time of day, and they're conversations he'll never forget, writes The Province's Jason Botchford.

"The refs never talk to me," Prout said. "I don't wear a letter. But before the game, a ref came up to me and said 'Good job, last night.'

"Later," Prout added, "the shorter ref came up and said 'Nice right.'"

The conversations confirmed what most people in hockey suspected: even the referees loathe Lucic.

"I can't help but smile when I think about that game," Proud said.

  6. For a start how about trying just trying for once Patches, SuperpleXXe and gCHuck five on five and the PP. I might be the first to realize it, when the other team knows DDD never shoots, and only passes to Patches, it makes it easy for them to shutdown our first line. Another orginal thought, why not design plays where PFK carries the puck over the blue line and skakes in deep and then has a pass option. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH11

eMpTy will play DD with Patches forever until one of them retires or MB decides he's seen enough and trades one (hopefully DD) away. PFK has been reined in by Chokula's lasso now wielded by EMPTY.

  12. Good news about kidG now in retrosspect signing PFK might have been a good move without the bridge. What was a good move was dumping Vanish, two goals in 22 games, a mistake of Gomezian propostions avoided.

  13. DGMB says they've been working on deal for about a month. Says there's always a risk for long term but this was worth the risk. He doesn't take a shift off, never has, not afraid of nothing, competes night in, night out.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Gorges is obviously still hurt about being traded, said it was hared walking into the building by the side entrance, he walked around and looked at the building outside. Fell bad, but it's for the best, I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  15. GAGnon is such a hypocrite, he praises the Gallager deal but constantly calls him a diver on RDS.

    ReplyDelete
  16. 1) Great news about KidG signing for another 6 years. That's probably how many more years his body can put up with this abuse.

    2) Hilarious post about Prout, juce. I don't tweet, but I was seriously thinking of sending him an email or signing up to twitter just to thank him. But you know Lucic will do something nasty and illegal to him next game and the league will turn a blind eye. Besides, if the refs really don't like him why does he get away with so much crap? Are we just starting to see the cracks in Jacobs' influence?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I'd like to think so, but you can still see his influence on the way refs treat the Habs, especially the 'embellishment' BS.

  18. You know, everyone is talking about how the Habs can't score. I think they can score, they just don't shoot. They're 27th in shots per game, but they also have players with some great shooting %s. Moral of the story: SHOOT THE FUCKING PUCK MORE!

    ReplyDelete
  19. You know, if you're going to say a game starts at 7pm, then start the fucking game at 7pm. Or, at the very least, start the 98 minute ceremony at 7pm. I tire of games starting half an hour after the posted time. But then there's always one every so often that I tune in late because of this, but that one starts at the posted time and I miss half the first period.

    ReplyDelete
  26. How come the Sabers can play their young D. Dont they know its against the code?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Obviously, there is still lots of time left to play but I knew I should have been worried when I heard eMpTy say there would be "no adjustments" for tonight's game. Facepalm.

    1. Had anyone explained to this fucking stupid sonofabitch the meaning of insanity?

      Delete
    2. Sure, you don't fuck with a winning formula but to not make a single adjustment (and announce it proudly to the media!) after a loss when you're playing the same team 24 hours later is silly.

      Delete
  28. I am feeling an incredible sense of déjà vu here guys and gals...there is nothing happening tonight. The Sabres are keeping them outside, clogging the middle and taking what chances they get. Habs dominating the play but not in a way that looks like they will actually score. I am only commenting during intermission tonight - it take too much time switching back and forth...and I decided to watch the Sabres feed on game centre tonight for a change of perspective...they are not doing too bad a job...fairly even commentary but with a Sabres bias that is to be expected. They are not jizzing all over the team like SHITU does do it is tolerable. Now wake the fuck up and score some fucking goals go Habs go. Go Habs go. Go Habs go

    ReplyDelete
  29. Okay everyone take it easy. I just read whats really going on. Montreal wants McDavid to play in the west so they are padding the Sabers wins, Wheh, I was worried what a relief.

  92. TB officially moves ahead of MTL. Oh, and now a 4 game trip through the central division. Fantastic!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Well, I mean, the Habs were by far the better team tonight. Some lucky bounces and great goaltending was the difference. Both nights, actually.

    ReplyDelete
  94. No way to know for sure, but I think TFS wins this game.

    ReplyDelete
  95. I really fuckin hate staying up until 3.15 am only to have them lose. Fucking DDD on the shootout Znd Lego on the shootout - bullshit attempts both! DGMB is looking at the team and isn't blind. What does Therrien have on him? Playing DDD as a 1st line center will never win the Habs the cup. He is a role player that is all. And I've said it too many times but it bears repeating once more. The Habs will not win the Stanley cup with michel Therrien as coach. He is not good enough. He is not a winner and will never be. The worst thing the Habs did lady year was make the conference final. It gave the impression that he was competent. He is not. He is the problem. An fuck this shit. Thank got the sounding board Moeman. Night all! Go Habs go!

    1. TFS earned EMPTY's contract and makes him look better than he is. I know, when things go bad we blame EMPTY but WE ARE RIGHT!

  96. I heard Pat Hickey today say that MT plans everything, his pressers, his players, everything. Most likely who starts and doesn't stray no matter how a game is going, no matter who the opponent, esp in a b2b. TFS could have played this b2b with tomorrow off and could have been the difference. Nothing against Toker, but we all know a goalie who's had a loss wants to jump right back in it.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I'm going to try this new thing the kids are calling "optimism". Here it goes, sorry if I get it wrong.

Habs beat by terrible bounce late in the game last night. Yeah, they probably should have been out in front enough already, but some games are like that.

Habs totally outplayed Buffalo tonight and ran into a really hot goalie.

Now that I've gotten that out of the way...

Should have won tonight with it 3-2. The D is not looking good past Vodkov and PFK. Allen needs to sit for Gilbert, and I'd rather have Tiny and N8 making mistakes and learning than 87 year olds making stupid mistakes. I don't even have a problem with GonCH, but he's not being used completely right.

Getting more shots tonight was good, but still very little traffic in front. And as much and gCHuck's dangles excite me, he hasn't really shown much finish. But he's young, he'll get there. Toker was great in the playoffs last year, but hasn't really been nearly as impressive this season. Needed a big save from him in the 3rd tonight.

Love PleXXXes but would have rather seen cakeS, gKid or even PFK in that SO.

The coaching is atrocious. MT is not good for a young team (or any team, but let's be specific tonight). But like DDD on the first line, he's not going anywhere any time soon. Hard to say if MB is blind or is being patient.

  98. The biggest DDD supporter, Bergeron, said what we all said - finally, DDD knows 40,000 tell him to shoot and tonight he shoots when he has the best scorer, PatCHes right there and he decides to shoot i/o pass.

    ReplyDelete
  99. My kids think I am the biggest pessimist going. OK, they're right, but I think the kids these days are the optimists, of course,I think that may be because I am such a pessimist.

  100. Nighty-night all. Thanks moeman for the hospitality.

    ReplyDelete
  101. If we have learned anything, its as long as you make the playoffs, everything is possible with TFS in net.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Now the leaf are described as 'potent', I wonder when they lose a couple games if they will call them 'impotent' Yet a team who was in 1st place most of the season up to last night doesn't get the time of day unless it's to insult them making excuses for their opponents.

    ReplyDelete
  103. We dogged another bullet 35 year old vet Eric Brewer who plays defence was traded to the Ducks. I think whats going on with Bo and Tin Tin is that EMty thinks our fowards are lazy, and he does not want other teams going through young D men like the Princess vs anybody. So he will let Dream Weaver, Allen and anyother body at least 35 years old take the pain. Once the fowards figure it out, boom up come Les Boys, fresh for the playoffs with not a hint of brezzer tan.
