  1. Happy Friday! Another day of slush falling in Halifax.

Just a suggestion for the Sexy update for later, to celebrate Patches' goal scoring streak...

    1. Speaking of Battlestar which IMHO had the most talented cast of women actress ever. In the future it may be that in order to motivate young men to risk their lives they will be promised and eternity with the female cast of their choice. You will have this on your dog tag just like your blood type. I cant think of a show that will top Battlestar Gallatica. As you know as a BG selector your package also includes Zena Warrior princes. The orginal Charlies Angels is a good one. The V remake another good choice. Freaks like 29 may choose all Orphan Black.
I see Maritimer picking Mork and Mindy, the espisode where Raquel was a guest star. Moeman may go Can Con with St Legal.

I have seen the Battlestar group individually in other shows, guest spots on Chuck and the Librarian, staring in Longmire and Ptich Black sequals, bikini clad in the Hawaii five o remake. All three were way hotter in BG.

    Too bad for Toker.

    1. A lot of that, but TFS hides many flaws. He is the new covergirl spokesperson

Boston's Brad Marchand will have a hearing this afternoon for a slew-foot on New York Rangers' Derick Brassard.

  5. Tinordi plays tonight.

  6. Thanks Moeman I does enjoy me some Angels. And bring on Tin Tin. Aside from Bo, no one on the D is getting out of third gear lately. Vodkov looks gassed. PFK looks like he is wearing a bridle that dont fit. (Y) is lost someplace, he is looking more and more like big TiTs every day. Gilbert is steady at least. Gonch is playing way younger than his age, and how long can that last. Although less than a week after being knocked out cold not the best timing. However next guy who takes a run at gCHuck should know one of two things. We are going to run his star, or he is going to be wearing a knuckle moustache.

    1. While I don't agree with staged fighting - that's what happened with Tinordi here - I do think teams need someone who can protect their stars. We've seen players targeting gCHyuk and lately, Cakes also seems to be a target. Not a goon, but someone with an edge and a bit of a mean streak who also plays hockey but I guess all teams would like those players too.

    2. One thing about Blanche, he never hesitated to look out for his teammates.

    3. That is not to say that CHarger doesn't but he can't do it all alone and can't be on the ice all the time.

Guys like BlanCHe are what teams need, a nutjob that you're not sure of what he will do. Too bad the coach had no use for him, also too bad he got injured in Philthy. If BlanChe were still with the Habs, Bobby Ryan would not have got away with that dirty hit on gCHuk. Of course, the Hab-hating refs turned a blind eye. Somebody should have made him answer for it. Same as Steve Downie last Saturday against Pitt.

I'm not sure why CHarger didn't take a run at them, maybe the coach didn't give him the opportunity, who knows. The Habs are a relatively soft team, they want to play hockey, but it's difficult to do in the buttman/colon/cherry led NHL. I hope MB is taking notes and making calls looking at March 2nd to make some adjustments. If DD and PAP were a part of some package, I would be doing cartwheels.

    5. I'd pay to see the M. do cartwheels.

Carey Price (upper body) is injured. Joey MacDonald is call up. Not a big injury for Price but I'll be surprised if he plays tomorrow.

Thankfully it doesn't sound serious, hopefully the team is not trying to sugar-coat anything.

    3. moeman, I was thinking that too (fleetingly) but I thought he'd also need to have him skip the preds game too, buttman would demand medical records since they warned GMs anyone skipping would face suspension.

    4. Fuck fuckface bettman. If I am Geoff Molson I tell him TFS™ isn't going to the AS game and no other Hab is available to replace him. You diss PatCHes who should be a shoe-in? You deny one of the league's best pure Stars in PFK? Fuck you! Fine us a $1M and we'll matCH it to our favourite CHarity.

    5. Bang on!

CTV speculates it happened during CBJ game when PatCHes pushed their forward into TFS and he received a penalty.

    6. Also, are there written rules that every team by CBA terms sends one player, minimum? If so, for shiggles, send Toker or The Weave.

  8. tsn's 'that's hockey', a 30 minute show, 22 if you remove the commercials (some about their leaf), spends 9 minutes worrying and crying about their leaf. Mealy-mouthed garbage about how to fix their team. Also, too, 30 teams in the NHL. Now that's hockey.

All the mediots are fretting about their leaf. They think it's all hockey fans are concerned about. I wonder if they realize most fans are laughing at them?

    2. I just watched monsieur Beliveau's funeral which I pvr'd and couldn't bring myself to watch before now. Then to hear about the mediots forever pumping and whining over their worthless, nothing, POS embarrassment of the original six both angers me and makes me sick.

  9. So ratface gets 2 games for another of his patented slew-foots yet the refs on the ice saw NOTHING! Sick fucking refs.

    1. 'It was a clean shoulder on shoulder hit' .....craig button last night. Even I knew how dirty it was last night when I saw it. His 2 games are a mere slap on the wrist.
Hhe was previously fined for a slewfoot on Niskanen, but he was also suspended 5 games for clipping Salo and also 2 games for a head shot on Umberger in 2011. Repeat offender and should have been an in-person hearing. Bruins still have 'friends' in high places or else he would have the book thrown at him.

    2. It's just amazing that a broon got a suspension. It just proves more and more how favoured they were up until a year or two ago. Every week it was another broon doing something obviously criminally dangerous and getting nothing from the league. Now, every 3rd infraction by their merry group of sociopaths gets a punishment. It's not perfect, but it's an improvement. That slew foot wouldn't even have been reviewed 2 years ago.
