  2. Halak's agent, Allan Walsh, told Melnick that the refs should put more importance on keeping a list of goalie crashers i/o embellishers.

Apparently coming back from the ASG, Cakes was sent to the wrong airport (he eventually made it to the right one) there are 3 airports in Colombus. He said that private cars were driving players around and at one point there were a group of people and some were wearing Habs jerseys, Cakes asked the driver to pull over, rolled down his window and started signing autographs. Says someone sent a letter to the organisation to thank them for sending such an ambassador.

  3. I know there's lots of anti-Toronto sentiment on this site (90% provided by me). But the 2015 Pan American Games will be hosted there this summer. It's the second largest multi-sport games after the Summer Olympics. Unfortunately, I can't go, but lots of the venues are places I've used (i.e. hardwood hills will host mountain biking, and is where I did x-country skiing as a kid. It's was my backyard, basically).

Whatever you think, as sport fans you have to watch the promo, which maybe you've seen on TV already:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMv2dlC2JFQ

And the Para-Pan-Am Games promo which is equally as awesome.

How can you not love sport? As the Koreans say, FIGHTING!

Also, I'm sure you know that the Women's World Cup is coming to Canada this summer. Canada is obviously one of the favourites and they play in Montreal at the Big O on June 15th.

    Go Canada Go!

  4. Political correctness has never been a feature of this blog so I will say what we are all feeling..."If Kreider (or anyone else for that matter) comes even remotely close to running TFS - someone on the Habs needs to take that mutherfucker out! Seriously out!" A message needs to be sent across the league - Don't fuck with the Montreal Canadiens!

  6. They were saying on the radio this morning that if that POS goes near Price that Therrien should personally jump on to the ice and take him out. LOL! T'would be funny as hell.

  12. HOLY SHIT! I'm watching the NBC Rangers feed and even then they called it a goal right away. They are PISSED right now. And that's the Rangers guys!

    ReplyDelete
  13. The Ranger feed's video CLEARLY showed that it was in. Like, there was no doubt, clear as fucking day. They blew it up and froze it and there's the puck past the line on Henrey's toe. No confusion at all.

  35. Yay! But man, the Rags got away with murder tonight. It was a Jacobs game, the refs did what they could to make the Habs lose. They'll be getting a phone call from Bettman. When Patches hit the post on the EN I thought for sure the Rags were going to tie it up. Glad I was wrong.

Eat it Kreider, you dirty piece of shit.

  36. "Canadiens' Subban receives mystery penalty after Rangers' Kreider jumps him"

"Chris Kreider and P.K. Subban were battling throughout much of the first period of Thursday's game between the Montreal Canadiens and the New York Rangers, leading to an odd penalty call on Subban.
Kreider dropped his gloves and grabbed Subban when the two players stepped back onto the ice after serving minor penalties, attempting to goad the Canadiens defenseman into a fight. Subban was not interested, and did not respond physically to Kreider, yet both players ended up back in the penalty box for unsportsmanlike conduct. Two minutes for being Subban, it seems."

  37. Carey Price's last 15 games:
    12-2-1, 1.53 GAA, .949 SV%, 1 SO

    Since Oct. 17:
    23-9-2, 1.91 GAA, .937 SV%, 3 SO

Excuse me, I have to go fondle myself while looking at those stats.

  38. Wait, wait, wait.

The Yotes scored on the leaf 5 seconds into the 3rd....Shorthanded....from the blue line...Their own blue line.

I wish I had a link to give you, but I just heard about it and watched on gamecenter. It's not up on youtube yet. It's beautiful. It should be put in a museum. Find it, children. Find it.

    1. What makes it better is SN sucking Bernier's dick as it goes in. "He's outstanding! Amazing! Except for that..."

The second goal was from behind the leaf goal line. Another terrible play. Teehee. The last one was a weak dump in from the line basically to keep it in on the PP.

    5. Since Horachek took the helm (10 games) - 1 win, 8 losses, 1 OT loss.
leaf had 3 wins in 19 games with 8 straight losses, the worst record in leaf history.
AC gave a shot to pj stock.

  39. Well well...The Habs outshoot the Rangers and win with a 1-0 shut out that really should have been 2-0. I've seen one replay and it looked in to me. I need to check more again Boone is singing Therrien's praises so WTF do I know - and who cares as long as they win! And another embarrassing loss for the leaf! Life is good people - Life is good! Go Habs Go!!

Donut Boy sayz Bernier played real good and the loss wasn't his fault ...
    O-Kay ...
    Pathetic.
    Tanking in January. Wow.
Time to fire the coach, get new management, trade away draft picks and sign bad players to stupid contracts .... oh wait a sec ... they already did that. Man, what now for the leaf?
Time to go and dig up Harold, perform an exorcism or chant or something.
    Go Habs
Oh nice post on the empty net breakaway...
    Go Habs again.
