You know that guy that comes over to your house when you are trying to throw away a load of shit from the attic...the guy that picks hrough the stuff you are about to throw out and finds the rubics cube from 1978. He proudly boasts..."Oh Man - I remember these - I was fucking amazing at doing these. I was the class fucking champion at completing these. Let me show you"...5 fucking days later he's still sitting in the corner of your house swearing like a trooper and declaring that "someone must have taken the stickers off this one to make it work - because I can't get it"...remember him - well that guy is MT and his PP.
I've been trying to solve that damned cube for 30 years. I have it on my desk at work. I got it to a point where I had a side and one ring of colours. I was closing in on the solution. Then one morning I come in to find that some fuckwad solved the puzzle while I was out the previous day. MB needs to be that fuckwad and solve the puzzle. Hint: Habs-MT=Better
The question is who would replace MT. Keeping in mind that for some fucking reason, until the No-dicks return to QC, we have to have a francophone coach. No fucking thank you to Guy Boucher. I say Benoit Groulx might not be a bad choice. I like his demeanor. But could he handle the pressure of the position?
Good point, so how many francophone coaches are there? Off hand I can think of Vigneault, Julien (both would be re-treads just like MT), Hartley, Roy, Boudreau has a French name but hails from Toronto - don't think he speaks French. A couple of assistants - Martin Gelinas, Jacques Clouthier. Off hand (excluding Habs assistants) that's all I could come up with currentlyin the NHL. How does the media not see how this limits the talent pool?
Mark Tinordi says Jarred didn't have any headaches and hopes to return Friday. http://www.tsn.ca/radio/mark-tinordi-in-the-right-situation-jarred-is-nhl-ready-1.182390
Toronto Marlies forward Brad Ross has been suspended 20 games for violating the AHL's substance abuse policy, the AHL announced Wednesday. Hmm, starting to see a pattern here....I guess fans will say it was another 'life and death' situation"
There might be a few francophone 'fans' and they are mostly pining for their diques.
J.S. Giguere;
“I definitely think it’s overdone,” Giguere told the hosts. “I think everybody, it seems, in Canada — in Montreal and Toronto and Vancouver and places like that — and don’t take offence, guys, because I’m not saying it’s everybody: But it seems there’s too many reporters who are fans, as well.” He did not identify anyone by name. “To me, they’re not objective,” he told the hosts. “They’re emotional when they talk about the players or about the game. And it doesn’t necessarily do it justice … I think you’ve got to take a step back, sometimes, and analyze the team from a different perspective.”
How fun(ny) is it to see the CotU mediots, all of them, in unison, doubling, tripling and whateverling down on sloppy leaf articles proving their love to their team. Sick fucks.
I'm going to take the high road and not bad mouth MT anymore. The players will eventually tune him out and he will be gone. Happens to all of them --- just a matter of time.
Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!!
They're getting good chances on the PP. Unfortunately they have to wait 1:20 to get DDD's line off the ice before they can get these chances. MT is going to ride that train out of town, apparently. Well, it should ride him out of town.
Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!! Go Habs Go!!!!!!
The Anaheim Ducks are expected to make leading goal-scorer Matt Beleskey a healthy scratch Wednesday versus the Toronto Maple Leafs, according to Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos.
He has been one of the most effective players in the league at even strength this season, owning a 67.4 goals-for percentage, but has tallied a minus-4 rating over the past two games.
"Michel, You gave PK a chance after that penalty was it to give him a chance to redeem himself?"
MY "We changed the lines on the 2nd unit, PK made a good shot but what I got from that is when you look at the replay DDD was in front of the net and without that effort and support from DDD there would not have been a goal."
DDD could stand there all day fucking long, without someone, anyone to shoot it means squat. So much for his mantra of we win as a team and we lose as a team - only when it suits.
Funny thing happened in the leaf game. Ducks score a goal, it goes undetected, they immediately score again. Obviously, only one counted.
But man, as always listening to the leaf feed makes you believe Bernier is the next coming of Roy. Non stop talk about how great he is. In the meantime, 2-0 Ducks.
" Their road victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday gave the franchise something it hasn't seen in over 30 years. Max Pacioretty scored twice and P.K. Subban also tallied in a 3:53 span in the third period to give the Canadiens a 3-2 victory, extending their road winning streak to six games for the first time since 1982."
I watched the FOX feed for the first period and wasn't sure what I would wake up to this morning. DDD on the first line PP, Cakes getting 2-3 minutes ice time, 4 on 4 and DDD leading the charge, tranna calls back a KidG goal...Didn't sleep too well. But I wake up this morning and WOW! Patchers grabs 2 x PP goals, PFK grabs another and the Habs win in regulation. Leafs shut out to top it off. Sun is shining on London Bridge this morning folks...Go Habs Go!!
Moey, in reply to your post of 10:42, I am going to revert to my position from the end of last season in regards to MT...namely - I will not say anything about him anymore. It is a waste of my breath. DGMB has made his bed and for some reason he has chosen MT to watch over it. I don't think he is a bad coach, he just isn't good enough to take the Habs to Stanley Cup glory...but that's my opinion. I so want to be proven wrong and I'll gladly eat my words in June if he does. And I shall not mention DDD at all again for the rest of the season. I remain convinced that he has some pretty horrific photos of MT in compromising positions, and that he is not nearly as good as all the francophones in Montreal seem to think he is, but again, that is my opinion and I shall keep it to myself. I shall focus on the positives. A win is a win baby!! Go Habs Go!!

PP to the power of 3.
Or 'cubed' one might say, oh prophet moeman...
I 'think' kidG's goal was in, but I'm not 100% sure. PFK DID play terrible...but atoned for it with drawing the penalty for the first goal and scoring the second. Fuck I hate MT's DDD crush.
Just like the cube did, sometimes MT & his PP drives me crazy.
ReplyDeleteGYMFHG!!
That didn't sound right at all.

ReplyDeleteI asked my son the goaltender, what he thought....he said "No Goal". I asked his friend, the centre, and he says " definitely a goal".
ReplyDeleteTin foil hat time: See the replay again, ref is about to call it a goal see's it's gKid who scored it, brings arm back in and says he doesn't know.
ReplyDeleteI can't listen to these snet idiots. Fuck off.
ReplyDeleteI guess Gonchar, Beaulieu, and Markov can't shoot.. Parenteau on defence on the PP??
ReplyDeleteMario Tremblay - PFK was terrible / Carbonneau PFK is showing Colombus why he's not going to the All Stars.
ReplyDeleteDo just taking a look at the new lines. Notes.
ReplyDelete-cakeS on the 4th line.
-gCHuck on the 3rd line.

Add to that a promise to change the PP by....putting DDD on the first PP line again!
DeleteThere's still room to move DDD up to the 1st line?

ReplyDeleteToo logical.

ReplyDeletePLEASE CASH IT PLEASE
ReplyDeleteIt's not like their not getting good CHances - 5 on 5 too, it's just not fucking going in. And take DDD off the PP or I am going to stab myself.
ReplyDeleteI sure am glad they practiced that PP stuff this week. DD and PAP look spectacular out there.
ReplyDeleteIt really is woeful, isn't it? Good grief. My Shelley could help them. Didn't he have like 25 goals in his last season with us?
DeleteHe sure wouldn't hurt. And yes, it's awful.
DeleteBabrovsky is down and out TWICE, and Habs decide to pass it instead of shoot.
ReplyDeleteThey're getting good chances on the PP. Unfortunately they have to wait 1:20 to get DDD's line off the ice before they can get these chances. MT is going to ride that train out of town, apparently. Well, it should ride him out of town.

ReplyDeleteThe coach won't mind losing a game 1-0. It will be a "moral victory". Similar to what the leaf get a lot of.

Just sayin'
A 6'-2" power winger from the Czech Republic is no match for a 5'-5" homeboy. Just ask the RDS/TVA "experts. Or the coach. Or the GM.
DeleteEven tonight AC lauding the contribution of DDD.
