  1. Funny how all the fucking mediots say the Habs are tied for 1st with Tampa, yet the standings show Habs in first place with 2 games in hand. Any way they can twist it I guess.

  3. You know, despite his heritage, Max Domi seems like a nice kid. But thanks to the mediots I officially hate...well dislike him. After the USA game Do-thee and Blob showed a few of his hilights and had a great laugh about his great play along with how he sticks his tongue out after scoring a goal and doing the "captain morgan" stance as he glided by the bench. What a character! Great for the game. So the reason I dislike him is them. Put PK doing those things in his place and try to imagine a few of the adjectives we'd hear coming out of tronna about him! They're such two faced fucks I can't stand to watch them.

    Anyway. Go Habs.

    1. Yup. Add their over-zealous cheering of the Swedish saviour divelander, how they report that acc WJC crowds prove their city is better than Montreal and how they collectively ripped Yakupov for a harmless goal celebration. Truly a sick bunch of fucks.

  4. A Habs win and a Steelers win would be nice. PleXXXe's usual velcro-on-Sid play should also be interesting.

Side note on the mediots; their leaf isn't playing, for once, in the 'hometown hockey' scam game tomorrow BUT, despite the sens and Owen Sound being showcased, the lnet show will have two leafs (gardiner, reilly) live in studio. They can't quit their team, ever. Sick fucks.

    2. Carey is a very 'grounded' individual. Some kudos need to be sent to Timmins (et Gainey) for whatever character pluses he/they look for in new players. Not wanting/needing to stretch recent events but the legacy of Jean Beliveau's 'nice man' (see Dryden) personality lives on. We are lucky and proud FHFans.

  9. Wow, just saw a replay of ratface right before his slew-foot. At one point his stick breaks but doesn't break cleanly into 2 pieces but still very obvious, when he gets into view of the ref, he lowers his hand down the stick to hide the broken part.

  10. We are very lucky to have a TFS. Argualby the best goalie in the world and only 27. He could easily play into Gonch years.
PFK has not quite yet hit peak but is still a top five D man.
    gCHuck is just getting started
With a great surrounding cast the team is going to be contenders for at least the next five years. The only important players we will lose in the mid term are Vodkov who is going to be impossible to replace, but Bo should be a good sub.
SuperPleXXXe is also going to be a big loss but Lego seems up to filling his skates
All is in ordung in the Hockey Universe.
Except for PAPY, DDD, (Y) and the Pens getting Peron for a bag of pucks and a first round late pick. They could have had DDD and our late round pick.

OK, lets pound on the mediots some more, watching (I know, I shouldn't) Hockeycentral starring leafools Marek, Shannon and dumbfuck pj suck. I thought they would be forced to give props to the Habs for the great run they've had and to Marek's credit he opened with the marquis matchup of Habs/Pens. First, they wanted to discuss the Perron trade, fair enough, trades are so rare nowadays it is newsworthy. They talked a long time about the Penguins, okay, they are buttman's darlings, carry on, then when it's time to talk about the Habs we get this from numbnuts pjsuck: Carey Price is great, the rest of his team not so much. They don't belong where they are. I live in Montreal and somebody is going to hit me. ................. Will somebody please shut him to fuck up. I think I'd have to punch him in the face if I ever met him. I thought Scott Moore would be smarter than to hire that idiot. I guess not. Only thing thing to do is keep winning boys, shut the fuckers up.

Addendum: Montreal has the identical record to the mighty Chicago Black Hawks with a slightly better goal differential. Suck on that pj you stupid fuck.

  39. I'm still here. If you're watching on City, it appears that Mike Johnson has received the call from Rogers to pile the crap on about the Habs. The goal shouldn't have counted because of kidG interference and Downey shouldn't have got a penalty - it was Markov's fault. I didn't mind him at one time. But he's clearly got the anti-hab glasses on.

    ReplyDelete
  41. i dunno... that penalty was kind of a weak one. (hate his as much as u guys do but he was pushed into TFS more than he deliberately crashed into him)

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I'm not saying it wasn't weak. But he wasn't really pushed - he leaned into Markov who fell into Price. Sort of. But yeah, weak call. Point is Johnson feeling it necessary to be the Pens apologist. Last I checked Quebec was still in Canada. It baffles me how these mediots continually disrespect the Habs - Canada's best team and best chance to bring the cup back to Canada.

    2. I don't know either but the replay on TVA showed fabric softener also stick his arm out to hit TFS in the head.

  102. Indispensable NHL salary database Capgeek.com has permanently ceased operations, the site announced Saturday evening.

The move was announced on the website:

Effective immediately, Jan. 3, 2015, CapGeek.com has permanently ceased operations. This sudden decision is made with a heavy heart and is due to the personal health of CapGeek.com founder and director Matthew Wuest. While this decision may raise many questions, it is requested that you respect Matthew's privacy and wish for no media or purchase inquiries. Thank you for your co-operation and understanding at this difficult time.

A crucial resource for hockey media and even player agents, Capgeek.com was the single most reliable and credible resource for NHL salary and contract information. Because the vast majority of NHL teams do not publicly reveal contract details, the information found at Capgeek.com was particularly crucial - even game-changing.

  103. Just finished watching on delay. Yay! Complete domination. Wonder of the mediots will tell us how the Pens just aren't elite and the Habs are the class of the East, as they did when the result was reversed last month.

And the leaf lose. What a nice Sunday morning!

  104. Not to beat a dead horse, but TSN is so transparent. When the leaf win it's blue and white top down on their site. When they lose it's all buried. Couldn't even find the score on their score crawl at the top for a while. It's just so petty and immature. My 4th graders are better losers than the Toronto media.

    1. TB is not doing too great right now, but this is their soft spot in the schedule (it does get easier for them at the end of the month, 5/6 at home). I think we'll see them drop even more come February. They play 8/12 games on the road, all 12 games against the West, including twice against LA, ANA and STL, along with CHI, NAS and SJS among others. Meanwhile the Habs just swept their longest road trip of the season that included two back2backs.

Habs now only play 2 games in the next 10 days, both at home, but both big ones against the Bolts and Pens. And then back2back again because apparently that's the only way the schedule makers think they can play road games. It doesn't get too difficult for them again till early March when they go through California and then have TB twice and the Islanders afterwards. But who knows what things will look like at that point.

NO JINX NO JINX NO JINX

But they're on pace for 113-114 points this season, which would be the most since 1988-89. Heck, as long as they go 25-17-1 in their remaining games it'll be their best season since then. But, again, NO JINX NO JINX NO JINX!!!!!

  109. After tonight, Price is tied with Rinne for save % for goalies who have played at least 20 games at .929. He is 4th in GAA for those goalies, too. Rinne 2.00, Howard 2.08, Crawford 2.13, Price 2.14. But Price's is steadily going down while the others have been going up the past few weeks (also note Crawford has played 23 games while the other guys are over 30).

Price is also 2nd in wins, and 2nd in shots against as well. Since December 7th Price has allowed 12 goals. That's less than LA and Nashville allowed together today.
